Microstructural evolution and electromagnetic wave absorbing performance of single-source-precursor-synthesized SiCuCN-based ceramic nanocomposites

Copper(Cu)-containing single-source precursors(SSPs)for the preparation of SiCuCN-based ceramic nanocomposites were successfully synthesized for the first time using polysilazane(PSZ),copper(II)acetate monohydrate(CuAc),and 2-aminoethanol via nucleophilic substitution reactions at silicon(Si)centers of *** synthesis process,polymer-to-ceramic transformation,and high-temperature microstructural evolution of the prepared ceramics were *** properties and electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbing performance of the ceramics were investigated as *** results show that the polymer-to-ceramic transformation finishes at ca.900 ℃,and Cu nanoparticles are homogeneously distributed in a SiCN matrix,forming a SiCN/Cu *** annealing at 1200 ℃,the Cu nanoparticles completely transform into copper silicide(CusSi).Interestingly,the thermal stability of the Cu nanoparticles can be strongly improved by increasing the free carbon content,so that a part of metallic Cu nanoparticles can be detected in the ceramics annealed even at 1300 ℃,forming a SiCN/Cu/Cu_(3)Si/C *** with SiCN,the SiCuCN-based nanocomposites exhibit strongly enhanced dielectric properties,which results in outstanding EMW absorbing *** minimum reflection coefficient(RC_(min))of the SiCN/Cu/Cu_(3)Si/C nanocomposites annealed at 1300 ℃ achieves-59.85 dB with a sample thickness of 1.55 mm,and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)broadens to 5.55 GHz at 1.45 *** enhanced EMW absorbing performance can be attributed to an in situ formed unique network,which was constructed with Cu and Cu_(3)Si nanoparticles connected by ring-like carbon ribbons within the SiCN matrix.

Conductive hydrogels have attracted extensive attention owing to their promising application prospects in flexible and wearable ***,achieving both high sensitivity and mechanical robustness remains ***,a novel and versatile conductive hydrogel based on the hybrid assem-bly of conductive cellulose nanofiber(CNF)networks has been designed and *** by the templating effect of CNFs and stabilizing effect of negatively charged poly(styrene sulfonate)(PSS),conducting polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)was self-organized into three-dimensional nanostructures which constructed a robust conductive network after in-situ oxidative *** unique structure derived from CNF bio-template endowed polyacrylamide(PAM)hydrogels with improved electrical conductivity and excellent mechanical *** a result,the as-fabricated CNF/PEDOT:PSS/PAM hydrogel exhibited an ultimate tensile strain of 1881%and toughness of 3.72 MJ/m^(3),which were 4.07 and 8.27 times higher than the CNF-free hydrogel,*** significantly,the resultant hydrogel sensor showed highly desirable sensing properties,including remarkable sensing range(1100%),high gauge factor(GF=5.16),fast response time(185 ms),and commendable durability,as well as good ***,the hydrogel sensor was able to distinguish subtle physiological activities including phonation and facial expression,and monitor large human body motions such as finger flexion and elbow ***,it was feasible to integrate the strain sensor on the joints of robots to recognize complicated machine motion signals,showing potential in advanced human-machine interactions.

Investigation of Granite Deformation Process under Axial Load Using LSTMBased Architectures

Single-source-precursor synthesis and air-plasma ablation behavior of(Ti,Zr,Hf)C/SiC ceramic nanocomposites at 2200℃

Dense monolithic(Ti,Zr,Hf)C/SiC ceramic nanocomposites with four different molar ratios of metallic elements in the(Ti,Zr,Hf)C phase(i.e.,Ti:Zr:Hf=1:1:1,2:3:5,2:3:3,and 1:2:1)were prepared upon pyrolysis of novel(Ti,Zr,Hf)-containing single-source precursors(SSPs),followed by spark plasma sintering(SPS).A thorough characterization was conducted to elucidate the synthesis of the SSPs,polymer-to-ceramic transformation,chemical/phase compositions,and microstructure of the SiTiZrHfC-based *** results revealed the feasibility of synthesizing nanocomposites with high(Ti,Zr,Hf)C contents using the SSP *** nanocomposites were characterized by a unique microstructure with in situ generated(Ti,Zr,Hf)C@C core-shell nanoparticles homogeneously mixed withβ-*** ablation behavior of the nanocomposites was evaluated on an air-plasma device for 60 ***,the nanocomposites exhibited excellent ablation resistance,and the lowest linear ablation rate reached−0.58μm/s at 2200°***,the ablation resistance can be dramatically improved by precisely tailoring the atomic ratios of metal elements within the(Ti,Zr,Hf)C phase via the molecular design of the *** formation of a multiple-oxide layer with both a high-meltingpoint phase((Ti,Zr,Hf)O_(2))and low-melting-point phases((Zr,Hf)TiO_(4))and glassy SiO_(2),as well as their structure,played a critical role in the enhanced ablation *** uniform distribution of the high-melting-point(Ti,Zr,Hf)O_(2)nano/microparticles throughout the glassy SiO_(2)matrix significantly enhanced the viscosity and stability of the oxide layer by the pinning effect,offering superior protection against the ingress of oxygen atoms and excellent resistance to mechanical erosion.

The Application of Fertilizer and AMF Promotes Growth and Reduces the Cadmium and Lead Contents of Ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum L.) in a Copper Mining Area

Heavy metal-polluted soil was collected from the Pulang copper mine in Shangri-La City,Yunnan Province,Southwest *** effects of fertilizer(organic and inorganic)and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)on ryegrass(Lolium multiflorum L.)growth,root morphology,mineral nutrition and cadmium(Cd)and lead(Pb)contents were investigated by pot *** results showed that both fertilizer and AMF significantly ameliorated the root morphology and mineral nutrition,reduced the Cd and Pb contents,and promoted the growth of *** all treatments,the combined application of organic–inorganic compound fertilizer with AMF had the highest effect,resulting in increases in root length,surface area and branch number by 2.3,1.1,and 3.9 times,respectively;an 88%increase in plant biomass;a nitrogen content increase of 2.3 and 1.2 times,and phosphorus content increase of 62%and 68%in shoots and roots,respectively was also recorded as well as decreases in Cd content by 34%and 62%and Pb content by 47%and 34%in shoots and roots,*** analysis showed that both fertilizer and AMF significantly promoted ryegrass growth(plant height,biomass,chlorophyll content,root length,nitrogen and phosphorus content)and reduced the Cd and Pb contents in roots,and there was a synergistic effect between ***,the nitrogen and phosphorus contents were very significantly positively correlated with the shoot and root biomasses but very significantly negatively correlated with the Cd and Pb contents of ***,the application of fertilizer and AMF synergistically improved ryegrass growth on polluted soils in the copper mining area.

Zircon U-Pb Age and Geochemistry of the Ore-hosting Ultramafic Complex of Zhou'an PGE-Cu-Ni Deposit,Henan Province,Central China

The Zhou＇an PGE-Cu-Ni deposit was recently discovered in the Qinling orogenic belt bound by the Yangtze and the North China Cratons. It is a blind deposit thoroughly covered by the Cenozoic alluvial sediments in the Nanyang Basin. As the first large PGE-Cu-Ni deposit discovered in the Qinling-Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt, its geological and geochemical characteristic, isotope age, genesis and tectonic setting are of wide concern in both scientific studies and ore exploration. In this contribution, we report the results obtained from a pioneering study. The Zhou＇an ultramafic complex is ferruginous, with m/f = 4.79-5.08, and shows the nature of tholeiite series. It is rich in light rare earth elements, Rb, Th, U, La, Sm, Zr and Hf, and poor in heavy rare earth elements, Nd and Ta, suggesting an intraplate setting. It has high S7Sr/S6Sr and low 143Nd/144Nd ratios. The ratios of Zr/Nb, La/Nb, Ba/ Nb, Rb/Nb, Th/Nb, Th/La and Ba/La, suggest the magma originated from lithosphere mantle. The Fo values of olivine and Pd/Ir-Ni/Cu diagram suggest primary magma was High Mg basalt. The laser ablation inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy zircon U-Pb age is 641.5 ± 3.7 Ma.

Application of Multicast-based Video Conference on CERNET Backbone

Multicast-based video conference is a representative application in advanced network. In multi-point video conference using multicast can get better efficiency facilitated by inner-group broadcast mechanism. In the application, the multicast-based network resources assignment, management and security should be considered together. This paper presents a framework model of multicast-based video conferencing application with three layers. And a practical multicast-based video conferencing is implemented in CERNET(China Education and Research Network) backbone. The practice is valuable for the development of multicast-based video conferencing application in China.

ENO1 expression and Erk phosphorylation in PDAC and their effects on tumor cell apoptosis in a hypoxic microenvironment

Objective: Hypoxia is an important feature of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC). Previously, we found that hypoxia promotes ENO1 expression and PDAC invasion. However, the underlying molecular mechanism was remains ***: The relationship between ENO1 expression and clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed in 84 patients with PADC. The effects of CoCl2-induced hypoxia and ENO1 downregulation on the apoptosis, invasion, and proliferation of PDAC cells were evaluated in vitro and in vivo. Hypoxia-and ENO1-induced gene expression was analyzed by transcriptomic ***: The prognosis of PDAC with high ENO1 expression was poor(P < 0.05). High ENO1 expression was closely associated with histological differentiation and tumor invasion in 84 PDAC cases(P < 0.05). Hypoxia increased ENO1 expression in PDAC and promoted its migration and invasion. Apoptotic cells and the apoptosis marker caspase-3 in the CoCl_(2)-treated ENO1-sh group were significantly elevated(P < 0.05). Transcriptomic sequencing indicated that CoCl_(2)-induced PDAC cells initiated MAPK signaling. Under hypoxic conditions, PDAC cells upregulated ENO1 expression, thereby accelerating ERK phosphorylation and inhibiting apoptosis(P < 0.05). Consistent results were also observed in a PDAC-bearing mouse hindlimb ischemia ***: Hypoxia-induced ENO1 expression promotes ERK phosphorylation and inhibits apoptosis, thus leading to PDAC survival and invasion. These results suggest that ENO1 is a potential therapeutic target for PDAC.
