Purpose:To explore the safety and clinical efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)combined with simultaneous cone beam computed tomography(CBCT)-guided multipolar microwave ablation(MWA)in the treatment of massive hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Materials and methods:Records of nine patients who underwent TACE combined with simultaneous CBCT-guided multipolar MWA for massive HCC,between January and June 2015,were retrospectively *** success rate,blood levels of liver function indicators,complications,and tumor response one month after treatmentwere ***:The technical success rate of TACE combined with simultaneous MWA was 100%.The mean procedure time was 195.0 min(range,125-350 min),the mean hospital stay after the treatment was 4.0±1.0 days(range,3-7 days),and no serious complications *** complications were experienced by some patients but were relieved after conservative *** month after treatment,enhanced CT revealed a complete response rate of 66.7%(6/9),a partial response rate of 22.2%(2/9),and a stable disease rate of 11.1%(1/9).Mild and reversible injury of liver function occurred in these ***:TACE combined with simultaneous CBCT-guided MWA for massive HCC was feasible and safe,and yielded a high response rate.

The potential mechanism and clinical application value of remote ischemic conditioning in stroke

Some studies have confirmed the neuroprotective effect of remote ischemic conditioning against stroke. Although numerous animal researches have shown that the neuroprotective effect of remote ischemic conditioning may be related to neuroinflammation, cellular immunity, apoptosis, and autophagy, the exact underlying molecular mechanisms are unclear. This review summarizes the current status of different types of remote ischemic conditioning methods in animal and clinical studies and analyzes their commonalities and differences in neuroprotective mechanisms and signaling pathways. Remote ischemic conditioning has emerged as a potential therapeutic approach for improving stroke-induced brain injury owing to its simplicity, non-invasiveness, safety, and patient tolerability. Different forms of remote ischemic conditioning exhibit distinct intervention patterns, timing, and application range. Mechanistically, remote ischemic conditioning can exert neuroprotective effects by activating the Notch1/phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt signaling pathway, improving cerebral perfusion, suppressing neuroinflammation, inhibiting cell apoptosis, activating autophagy, and promoting neural regeneration. While remote ischemic conditioning has shown potential in improving stroke outcomes, its full clinical translation has not yet been achieved.

Morphology,Nanostructure,and Oxidation Reactivity of Particulate Matter Emitted by Diesel Blending with Various Aromatics

This study aims to analyze the influence of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon(PAH)content in diesel on the physical and chemical properties of diesel soot *** diesel fuels with different PAH content were tested on a 11.6 L direct-injection diesel *** raw particulate matter(PM)before the after-treatment devices was collected using the thermophoresis sampling system and the filter sampling system.A transmission electron microscope and Raman spectrometer are used to analyze the physical properties of the soot particles,including morphology,primary particle size distribution,and graphitization degree.A Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and thermogravimetric analyzer are used to characterize the surface chemical composition and oxidation reactivity of soot particles,*** results show that as the PAH content in the fuel decreases,the size of the primary soot particles decreases from 29.58 to 26.70 *** graphitization degree of soot particles first increases and then decreases,and the relative content of the aliphatic hydrocarbon functional groups of soot particles first decreases and then *** T_(10),T_(50),and T_(90) of soot from high-PAH fuel are 505.3,589.3,and 623.5℃,while those from low-PAH fuel are 480.1,557.5,and 599.2℃,*** indicates that exhaust PM generated by the low-PAH fuel has poor oxidation ***,as the PAH content in fuel is further decreased,the excessively high cetane number may cause uneven mixing and incomplete combustion,leading to enhanced oxidation reactivity.

The effects of humus moisture content on underground fires in a Larix gmelinii plantation

Underground fires are a smoldering combustion with a slow spread rate, low temperatures and no flame. They can last from days to several months, and can even become overwintering fires. They are difficult to find, leading to considerable damage to the forests. The moisture content of combustible fuels is an important factor in the occurrence and persistence of underground forest fires. The Daxing’an Mountains are a hot spot for underground fires in China. This paper looks at the influence of different moisture contents on underground fire characteristics using simulation combustion experiments in the laboratory. The study showed that peak temperature and spread rate fluctuation of humus at different moisture levels increased with humus depth. Peak temperature and spread rate fluctuation of humus at different depths decreased with increased moisture;moisture content and depth of humus had a significant effect on peak temperature and spread rate fluctuation;peak temperature at different depths decreased with increased moisture;the spread rate in upper layers increased with moisture content, while the spread rate in the lower layers decreased with increased moisture content.

Preparation and synergetic catalytic effects of amino-functionalized MCM-41 catalysts

Four amine functionalized mesoporous catalysts were synthesized by grafting primary, dualistic and two secondary amines onto the channel walls of mesoporous silica, MCM-41. We examined the effects of organoamine loading amount on the acid-base synergism of the catalysts in the self-condensation reaction of n-butanal, a Knoevenagel condensation and a Henry reaction. We observed the balance of the amine and residual silanol amounts is crucial to the catalytic performances of the functionalized mesoporous catalysts. An optimum organoamine loading amount exists, which is dependent on the organoamine type. There is little difference in the optimum organoamine loading amount between different reactions. The secondary organoamine functionalized MCM-41 exhibits the best catalytic performance in the experimental range.

修剪方式对‘宁杞7号’枸杞品质与产量的影响

为探寻宁夏产区枸杞科学合理的修剪管理技术,在宁夏中宁和固原两个试验点以8年生‘宁杞7号’为试验材料,短截程度设置长放(D1)、短截15~20 cm(D2)、短截10~15 cm(D3)3个水平,修剪量设置轻度修剪量40%~50%(A1)、中度修剪量50%~60%(A2)、重度修剪量60%~70%(A3)3个水平,研究短截程度与修剪量不同水平组合对枸杞果实产量和品质的影响。结果表明,两个试验点不同短截程度与修剪量配置的修剪方式下枸杞果实产量和品质差异明显,且存在不同程度的交互效应。在产量和枝类组成方面,中宁试验点的短截10~15 cm+轻度修剪量处理和固原试验点的短截15~20 cm+中度修剪量处理的产量最高,较其他处理分别提高4.58%~59.87%和9.19%~80.14%,且中枝占比较高。在果实品质上,中宁试验点短截15~20 cm+中度修剪量处理和固原试验点短截15~20 cm+重度修剪量处理的单果质量较高,且其甜菜碱、黄酮、类胡萝卜素含量均较高。相关性分析结果表明,两试验点的产量与总糖含量均呈负相关关系。以高产优质为栽培目的,结合熵权TOPSIS法综合得分,短截15~20 cm+中度修剪量可作为中宁试验区较优的修剪组合,短截15~20 cm+重度修剪量可作为固原试验区较优的修剪组合。

Genetic polymorphism of mitochondrial DNA HVS-I and HVS-II of Chinese Tu ethnic minority group

We analyzed the two hypervariable segments HVS-I and HVS-II of 108 Chinese Tu ethnic minority group samples for forensic and population genetics purposes, Comparing with Anderson sequence, 79 polymorphic loci in HVS-I and 40 in HVS-II were found in Chinese Tu ethnic minority group mtDNA sequences, and 90 and 64 haplotypes were then defined. Haplotype diversity and the mean pairwise differences were 0.9903±0.0013 and 5.7785 in HVS-I, and 0.9777±0.0013 and 3.5819 in HVS-II, respectively. By analyzing the hypervariable domain from nucleotide 1,6180 to 1,6193 in HVS-I, we defined some new types of sequence variations. We also compared the relationship between Tu population and other populations using mtDNA HVS-I sequences. According to Rst genetic distances, the phylogenetic tree showed that the Tu population, the Xi＇an Han population, the Chinese Korean, and the Mongol ethnic group were in a clade. This indicated a close genetic relationship between them. There were far relations between the Tu population and other Chinese southern Han populations, Siberian, European, African, and other foreign populations. The results suggest that Tu population has a multi-origin and has also merged with other local populations.
