Atomic layer deposition(ALD)offers unique capabilities to fabricate atomically engineered porous materials with precise pore tuning and multi-functionalization for diverse applications like advanced membrane separations towards sustainable energy-water ***,current ALD technique is inhibited on most non-polar polymeric membranes due to lack of accessible nucleation ***,we report a facile method to efficiently promote ALD coating on hydrophobic surface of polymeric membranes via novel protein activation/*** a proof of concept,TiO2 ALD-coated membranes activated by bovine serum albumin exhibit remarkable superhydrophilicity,ultralow underwater crude oil adhesion,and robust tolerance to rigorous environments including acid,alkali,saline,and *** importantly,excellent cyclable crude oil-in-water emulsion separation performance can be *** mechanism for activation/sensitization is rooted in reactivity for a particular set of amino ***,the universality of protein-sensitized ALD is demonstrated using common egg white,promising numerous potential usages in biomedical engineering,environmental remediation,lowcarbon manufacturing,catalysis,and beyond.

Active Template Synthesis of Protein[n]Catenanes Using Engineered Peptide–Peptide Ligation Tools

The expansion of protein topological diversity requires new and efficient synthetic ***,we report the second and third generations of the SpyStapler-mediated SpyTag/BDTag ligation system for the efficient synthesis of 4-arm star proteins and the repurposing of the third generation as an active template to enable the synthesis of higher-order protein[n]catenanes(n=3,4,and 5).SpyStapler003 has a higher affinity to its cognate SpyTag and BDTag reactive pairs relative to the original ***,it can overcome much more profound steric hindrance in protein ligation and improve the efficiency of the resulting active template tool to facilitate the construction of radial protein[n]*** proteins of interest,such as dihydrofolate reductase and the nanobody KN035,can be modularly incorporated into the[n]catenanes with intact *** of passive and active template strategies gives rise to linear protein[4]catenanes,which further expands the current topological ***,higher-order protein catenation not only leads to enhanced thermal stability and proteolytic resistance but also higher affinity of the nanobody via multivalent *** study provides tools useful for bioconjugation and new topological protein scaffolds for the multivalent display of enzymes and antibodies.

Toward Selective Synthesis of Protein Olympiadanes via Orthogonal Active Templates in One Step

Unlike small molecules,the topological complexity of macromolecules remains largely unexplored due to the huge synthetic ***,we report the development of orthogonal active templates for concise and selective synthesis of protein[n]heterocatenanes toward protein *** active template(AT-Snoop)was first developed based on the isopeptide-bond-forming RrgA domain with comparable efficiency and excellent orthogonality to the previously reported active template(AT-Spy)based on the CnaB2 *** combination facilitated the selective synthesis of protein[n]catenanes from multiple components in one step and the resulting structures were verified by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,size exclusion chromatography,liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry,and proteolytic digestion *** results offered a promising solution to tackling the daunting challenge of precision synthesis of protein olympiadane with five distinct ring *** only did the success provide new tools for proteintopology engin eering but alsospurred and fueled the future exploitation of topology-related functional benefits in protein science.

SIRT6 as a key event linking P53 and NRF2 counteracts APAP-induced hepatotoxicity through inhibiting oxidative stress and promoting hepatocyte proliferation

Acetaminophen(APAP)overdose is the leading cause of drug-induced liver injury,and its prognosis depends on the balance between hepatocyte death and *** 6(SIRT6)has been reported to protect against oxidative stress-associated DNA *** whether SIRT6 regulates APAPinduced hepatotoxicity remains *** this study,the protein expression of nuclear and total SIRT6 was up-regulated in mice liver at 6 and 48 h following APAP treatment,***6 knockdown in AML12 cells aggravated APAP-induced hepatocyte death and oxidative stress,inhibited cell viability and proliferation,and downregulated CCNA1,CCND1 and CKD4 protein ***6 knockdown signifi-cantly prevented APAP-induced NRF2 activation,reduced the transcriptional activities of GSTm andNQO1 and the m RNA levels of Nrf2,Ho-1,Gsta and ***,SIRT6 showed potential protein interaction with NRF2 as evidenced by co-immunoprecipitation(Co-IP)***,the protective effect of P53 against APAP-induced hepatocytes injury was *** Sirt6 m RNA was significantly down-regulated in P53à/àmice.P53 activated the transcriptional activity of SIRT6 and exerted interaction with *** results demonstrate that SIRT6 protects against APAP hepatotoxicity through alleviating oxidative stress and promoting hepatocyte proliferation,and provide new insights in the function of SIRT6 as a crucial docking molecule linking P53 and NRF2.

The exploration of sustainable energy utilization requires the imple-mentation of advanced electrochemical devices for efficient energy conversion and storage,which are enabled by the usage of cost-effective,high-performance ***,heterogeneous atomically dispersed catalysts are considered as potential candidates for a wide range of *** to conventional cata-lysts,atomically dispersed metal atoms in carbon-based catalysts have more unsatu-rated coordination sites,quantum size effect,and strong metal-support interactions,resulting in exceptional catalytic *** these,dual-atomic catalysts(DACs)have attracted extensive attention due to the additional synergistic effect between two adja-cent metal *** have the advantages of full active site exposure,high selectiv-ity,theoretical 100%atom utilization,and the ability to break the scaling relationship of adsorption free energy on active *** this review,we summarize recent research advancement of DACs,which includes(1)the comprehensive understanding of the synergy between atomic pairs;(2)the synthesis of DACs;(3)characterization meth-ods,especially aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy and synchrotron spectroscopy;and(4)electrochemical energy-related *** last part focuses on great potential for the electrochemical catalysis of energy-related small molecules,such as oxygen reduction reaction,CO_(2) reduction reaction,hydrogen evolution reaction,and N_(2) reduction *** future research challenges and opportunities are also raised in prospective section.

提高劳动收入份额是实现共同富裕目标的关键路径。本文基于社会信用体系改革分批试点的准自然实验场景,以2007—2021年沪深A股上市公司数据为样本,从非正式制度的视角探究企业劳动收入份额的影响因素。研究发现:(1)社会信用体系改革显著提升了劳动收入份额;(2)社会信用体系改革通过缓解企业代理问题、提高企业信贷融资可得性以及盈利溢出效应等路径提升劳动收入份额;(3)社会信用体系改革提高了普通员工的劳动收入份额,降低了高管的劳动收入份额;(4)社会信用体系改革对劳动收入份额的提升作用在劳动密集型行业以及经济发展相对落后城市的企业更加突出。本文从劳动收入份额视角为社会信用体系改革的政策效果提供了经验证据,对于推动社会信用体系建设的完善和实现共同富裕目标具有现实意义。

文中提出多轨道数字音频自适应变阶谱降噪模型构建,采用一阶高通数字滤波器预加重处理多轨道数字音频信号,以此为基础,通过最大熵谱估计算法估计数字音频信号频谱,搭建自适应变阶谱降噪模型,确定谱减阶数的自适应取值规则。将待处理的多轨道数字音频频谱估计结果输入至训练好的降噪模型中,输出结果经过逆变换即为降噪完成后的多轨道数字音频,从而实现了多轨道数字音频的自适应变阶谱降噪。实验数据显示:构建模型应用后,可以有效去除音频噪声信号,并不会缺失音频有效信息,降噪后多轨道数字音频信噪比最大值为91.25 dB,充分证实了构建模型降噪效果更佳。

该研究以赤藓糖醇、甜菊糖苷、罗汉果苷作为甜味剂,使用乳糖酶酶解酸奶中的乳糖制备无乳糖酸奶;以感官评分作为评价指标,通过单因素试验和响应面试验优化无乳糖酸奶的最佳配方。结果表明,响应面试验优化无乳糖酸奶发酵配方的参数为赤藓糖醇添加量6%、甜菊糖苷添加量0.01%、罗汉果苷添加量0.005%、乳糖酶添加量0.09%,以此配方发酵的无乳糖酸奶感官评分为94分,各指标符合相关标准要求。
