Estrogenic pollution and its control in aquatic systems have drawn substantial attention around the world. The chemical and biological assessment approaches currently utilized in the laboratory or field cannot give an integrated assessment of the pollution when used separately. In this study, in situ chemical and biological methods were combined to detect pollution in a water recycling system. Data for the water quality index（WQI） demonstrated that the water treatment resulted in the decline of pollution from upstream to *** male Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, was sampled in June and September. The concentrations of four common endocrine disrupting chemicals（EDCs） were determined in the tilapia liver by chromatographic analysis methods. The level of 17β-estradiol（E2） declined from upstream to downstream in both months. In contrast, the levels of bisphenol A（BPA）,di-（2-ethylhcxyl） phthalate（DEHP）, and perfluorooctane sulfonate（PFOS） did not display this declining tendency. The highest relative expression of vitellogenin 1（VTG1） was observed in tilapia from upstream, then the level significantly decreased along the water system. The relative expression levels of CYP1A1 in the water system were also significantly higher than that of the control. However, no declining trend could be observed along the water system. The change of VTG1 expression corresponded well with that of E2 levels in the tilapia liver. Overall,our study assessed the pollution by endocrine disruptors using chemical and biological data with good correspondence. This study also demonstrated the effectiveness of the water recycling system in eliminating estrogen pollution in municipal sewage.

Solar ultraviolet（UV） bursts are small-scale compact brightenings in transition region images. The spectral profiles of transition region lines in these bursts are significantly enhanced and broadened, often with chromospheric absorption lines such as Ni ii 1335.203 and 1393.330 ? superimposed. We investigate the properties of several UV bursts using a coordinated observation of the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph（IRIS）, Solar Dynamics Observatory（SDO）, and Hinode on February 7, 2015. We have identified 12 UV bursts, and 11 of them reveal small blueshifts of the Ni ii absorption lines. However, the Ni ii lines in one UV burst exhibit obvious redshifts of ～20 km s-1, which appear to be related to the cold plasma downflows observed in the IRIS slit-jaw images. We also examine the three-dimensional magnetic field topology using a magnetohydrostatic model, and find that some UV bursts are associated with magnetic null points or bald patches. In addition, we find that these UV bursts reveal no obvious coronal signatures from the observations of the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly（AIA） on board SDO and the EUV Imaging Spectrometer（EIS） on board Hinode.

Magnetoseismology,a technique of magnetic field diagnostics based on observations of magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)waves,has been widely used to estimate the field strengths of oscillating structures in the solar ***,previously magnetoseismology was mostly applied to occasionally occurring oscillation events,providing an estimate of only the average field strength or one-dimensional distribution of field strength along an oscillating *** restriction could be eliminated if we apply magnetoseismology to the pervasive propagating transverse MHD waves discovered with the Coronal Multi-channel Polarimeter(CoMP).Using several CoMP observations of the Fe xiii 1074.7 nm and 1079.8 nm spectral lines,we obtained maps of the plasma density and wave phase speed in the corona,which allow us to map both the strength and direction of the coronal magnetic field in the plane of *** also examined distributions of the electron density and magnetic field strength,and compared their variations with height in the quiet Sun and active *** measurements could provide critical information to advance our understanding of the Sun's magnetism and the magnetic coupling of the whole solar atmosphere.

We analyze whether product market advertising has a spillover effect on stock price synchronicity by transmitting firm-specific information to the capital market and attracting more investor *** a sample of Chinese listed firms from 2009 to 2017,we find that firms with greater advertising expenditures have lower stock price *** results are robust after we address endogeneity *** accord with our hypothesis that product market advertising increases the amount of firm-level information capitalized into stock prices through the information channel,we find that the impact of advertising on synchronicity is more pronounced for firms with a higher degree of information asymmetry and firms in the consumer-product *** tests show that product market advertising enhances the ability of current period returns to reflect future earnings,and thus rules out that the negative relationship between advertising and synchronicity is driven by noise *** results imply that product market advertising plays an informative role and improves information efficiency in a capital market.

Magnetic fields play a key role in driving a broad range of dynamic phenomena in the atmospheres of the Sun and other *** and accurate measurements of the magnetic fields at all the atmospheric layers are of critical importance to understand these magnetic activities,but in the solar and stellar coronae such a measurement is still a challenge due to the weak field strength and the high ***,a magnetic-field-induced transition(MIT)of Fe X at 257.26A has been proposed for the magnetic field measurements in the solar and stellar *** this review,we present an overview of recent progresses in the application of this method in *** start by introducing the theory underlying the MIT method and reviewing the existing atomic data critical for the spectral modeling of Fe X *** also discuss the laboratory measurements that verify the potential capability of the MIT technique as a probe for diagnosing the plasma magnetic *** then continue by investigating the suitability and accuracy of solar and stellar coronal magnetic field measurements based on the MIT method through forward ***,we discuss the application of the MIT method to the existing spectroscopic observations obtained by the Extreme-ultraviolet Imaging Spectrometer onboard *** novel technique provides a possible way for routine measurements of the magnetic fields in the solar and stellar coronae,but still requires further efforts to improve its ***,the challenges and prospects for future research on this topic are discussed.

The deltex family protein DTX3 is believed to possess E3 ubiquitin ligase activity,as it contains a classic RING finger ***,its biological role and the underlying mechanism in cancer remain largely ***,we identified DTX3 as a novel mutant p53-interacting protein in ovarian ***,DTX3 mediated mutant p53 ubiqui-tination and stabilization by perturbing the MDM2-mutant p53 interaction,consequently leading to activation of *** p53 target ***,a positive correlation between the expression of DTX3 and mutant p53 target genes was further validated in ovarian *** DTX3 promoted,while depletion of DTX3 suppressed,ovarian cancer cell proliferation and ***,the pro-tumorigenic effect of DTX3 is dependent on mutant p53,because ablation of mutant p53 significantly impaired DTX3-induced gene expression and ovarian cancer cell growth and ***,DTX3 elevated the expressi on of muta nt p53 target genes and boosted ovarian tumor growth in *** ally,DTX3 was amplified and overexpressed in ovarian carci no mas,which is sign ificantly associated with unfavorable ***,our findings unveil the oncogenic role of DTX3 in ovarian cancer development by bolstering mutant p53 activity.
