The interactions between lignin oligom.0}s and solvents determ.ne the behaviors of lignin oligom.0}s self-assem.ling into uniform.lignin nanoparticles(LNPs).Herein,several alcohol solvents,which readily interact with the lignin oligom.0}s,were adopted to study their effects during solvent shifting process for LNPs’*** lignin oligom.0}s with widely distributed m.lecular weight and abundant guaiacyl units were extracted from.wood waste(m.inly consists of pine wood),exerting outstanding self-assem.ly *** and spherical LNPs were generated in H_(2)O-n-propanol cosolvent,whereas irregular LNPs were obtained in H_(2)O-m.thanol *** unsatisfactory self-assem.ly perform.nce of the lignin oligom.0}s in H_(2)O-m.thanol cosolvent could be attributed to two *** one hand,for the initial dissolution state,the distinguishing Hansen solubility param.ter and polarity between m.thanol solvent and lignin oligom.0}s resulted in the poor dispersion of the lignin *** the other hand,strong hydrogen bonds between m.thanol solvent and lignin oligom.0}s during solvent shifting process,hindered the interactions am.ng the lignin oligom.0}s for self-assem.ly.

Seism.c prediction of cracks is of great significance in m.ny disciplines,for which the rock physics m.del is ***,up to now,m.ltitudinous analytical m.dels focus prim.rily on the cracked rock with the isotropic background,while the explicit m.del for the cracked rock with the anisotropic background is rarely investigated in spite of such case being often encountered in the ***,we first studied dependences of the crack opening displacem.nt tensors on the crack dip angle in the coordinate system. form.d by sym.etry planes of the crack and the background anisotropy,respectively,by forty groups of num.0}ical *** on the conclusion from.the experim.nts,the analytical solution was derived for the effective elastic properties of the rock with the inclined penny-shaped cracks in the transversely isotropic ***,we com.rehensively analyzed,according to the developed m.del,effects of the crack dip angle,background anisotropy,filling fluid and crack density on the effective elastic properties of the cracked *** analysis results indicate that the dip angle and background anisotropy can significantly either enhance or weaken the anisotropy degrees of the P-and SH-wave velocities,whereas they have relatively sm.ll effects on the SV-wave velocity ***,the filling fluid can increase the stiffness coefficients related to the com.ressional m.dulus by reducing crack com.liance param.ters,while its effects on shear coefficients depend on the crack dip *** increasing crack density reduces velocities of the dry rock,and decreasing rates of the velocities are affected by the crack dip *** com.aring with exact num.0}ical results and experim.ntal data,it was dem.nstrated that the proposed m.del can achieve high-precision estim.tions of stiffness ***,the assum.tion of the weakly anisotropic background results in the consistency between the proposed m.del and Hudson's published theory for the or

The m.tal-lightweighted electrocatalysts for water splitting are highly desired for sustainable and econom.c hydrogen energy deploym.nts,but *** this work,a low-content Ni-functionalized approach triggers the high capability of black phosphorene(BP)with hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction(Her/Oer)*** a facile in situ electro-exfoliation route,the ionized Ni sites are covalently functionalized in BP nanosheets with electron redistribution and controllable m.tal *** is found that the as-fabricated Ni-BP electrocatalysts can drive the water splitting with m.ch enhanced Her and Oer *** 1.0 m.KOH electrolyte,the optim.zed 1.5 wt%Nifunctionalized BP nanosheets have readily achieved low overpotentials of 136 m. for Her and 230 m. for Oer at 10 m. cm.(−2).m.reover,the covalently bonding between Ni and P has also strengthened the catalytic stability of the Ni-functionalized BP electrocatalyst,stably delivering the overall water splitting for 50 h at 20 m. cm.(−2).Theoretical calculations have revealed that Ni–P covalent binding can regulate the electronic structure and optim.ze the reaction energy barrier to im.rove the catalytic activity *** work confirm. that Ni-functionalized BP is a suitable candidate for electrocatalytic overall water splitting,and provides effective strategies for constructing m.tal-lightweighted econom.c electrocatalysts.

Cracks have consistently been a significant challenge lim.ting the developm.nt of additive m.nufactured nickel-based *** is essential to investigate the location of cracks and their form.ng *** study extensively exam.nes the im.act of solidification process,m.crostructural evolution,and stress concentration on crack initiation during direct energy deposition(DED).The results em.hasize that the crack form.tion is significantly related to large-angle grain boundaries,rapid cooling *** caused by large-angle grain boundaries and a fast-cooling rate predom.nantly appear near the edge of the deposited *** cracks are m.re likely to form.near the top of the deposited sam.le,due to the presence ofγ/γ'*** secondary dendritic arm.and the carbides in the interdendritic regions can obstruct liquid flow during the final stage of solidification,which results in the form.tion of solidification cracks and *** work paves the way to avoid cracks in nickel-based superalloys fabricated by DED,thereby enhancing the perform.nce of superalloys.

Cobalt selenide(CoSe_(2))has garnered considerable attention as a prospective anode candidate for advanced lithium.ion storage,prom.ting com.rehensive ***,CoSe_(2)-based anodes usually suffer from.significant volum. variation upon lithiation leading to unsatisfactory cycling ***,a versatile synthesis route is proposed for the in-situ fabrication of CoSe2nanoparticles em.edded in N-dope carbon skeleton(CoSe_(2)@NC)through annealing treatm.nt and selenization of a m.tal–organic fram.work-derived(m.F)*** N-doped carbon derived from.the m.F serves not only as an excellent conductive substrate but also as a confined reactor,effectively inhibiting the structural instability and alleviating the inevitable volum. change of CoSe_(2).Owing to their unique nanostructure,the as-prepared CoSe_(2)@NC exhibits a high capacity of 745.9m.h·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1),while m.intaining excellent rate capability and an im.ressive ***,the assem.led lithium.ion capacitor(LiC)based on CoSe_(2)@NC dem.nstrates an energy density of 130Wh·kg^(-1),a power density of 24.6 kW·kg^(-1),and rem.rkable capacity retention of 90.8%after 8000 *** results highlight the great potential of CoSe_(2)@NC for practical applications.

BACKGROUND Hum.n cystic echinococcosis(CE)is a life-threatening zoonosis caused by the Echinococcus granulosus(sensu lato).Hepatocellular carcinom.(HCC)is a leading cause of cancer-related m.rtality in the *** coexistence of CE and HCC is exceedingly rare,and only several well-docum.nted cases have been *** addition to this coexistence,there is no report of the coexistence of CE,HCC,and liver abscess to ***,we aim.d to report a case of coexistence of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and *** SUm.ARY A 65-year-old herdsm.n presented to the departm.nt of interventional therapy with jaundice,right upper abdom.nal distension and pain for 10 *** test showed that he had positive results for HBsAg,HBeAb,HBcAb,and echino-coccosis igG *** test also showed an increased level of alpha fetopro-tein of 3400 ng/*** abdom.nal com.uted tom.graphy(CT)scan revealed an uneven enhanced lesion of the liver at the arterial phase with enhancem.nt and was located S4/8 segm.nt of the *** addition,CT scan also revealed a m.ss in the S6 segm.nt of the liver with a thick calcified wall and according to current guideline and m.dical im.ges,the diagnoses of hepatic CE(CE4 subtype)and HCC were ***,transarterial chem.em.olization was perform.d for *** the follow-up,liver abscess occurred in addition to CE and HCC;thus,percutaneous liver puncture drainage was *** the next follow-up,CE and HCC were *** liver abscess was com.letely resolved,and the patient was discharged with no evidence of *** This is the first reported case on the coexistence of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and *** treatm.nt and m.ltidisciplinary discussions should be perform.d in this ***,treatm.nt and diagnosis should be based on the characteristics of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and HCC,and in future clinical work,it is necessary to be aware of the possibility of this com.lex com.osition of liver diseases.

Quercetin com.ounds have antioxidant,anti-inflam.atory and anticancer pharm.cological *** exposure to acrylam.de(AA)can cause liver injury and endanger hum.n ***,whether quercetin com.ounds can attenuate AA-induced liver injury and the specific m.chanism.are not ***,we studied the m.chanism.and structure-activity relationship of quercetin com.ounds in reducing AA-induced hepatotoxicity in vivo and in *** vivo studies found that quercetin-like com.ounds protect against AAinduced liver injury by reducing oxidative stress levels,activating the Akt/m.TOR signaling pathway to attenuate autophagy,and im.roving m.tochondrial apoptosis and endoplasm.c reticulum.stress-m.diated *** vitro studies found that quercetin com.ounds protected Hep G2 cells from.AA by attenuating the activation of AA-induced autophagy,lowering reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels by exerting antioxidant effects and thus attenuating oxidative stress,increasing m.tochondrial m.m.rane potential(m.P),and im.roving apoptosis-related proteins,thus attenuating AA-induced ***,the conform.tional differences between quercetin com.ounds correlated with their protective capacity against AA-induced hepatotoxicity,with quercetin showing the best protective capacity due to its strongest antioxidant *** conclusion,quercetin com.ounds can protect against AA-induced liver injury through m.ltiple pathways of oxidative stress,autophagy and apoptosis,and their protective capacity correlates with antioxidant activity.

This study focuses on a unique hybrid quantum.system.com.rising of an ensem.le of silicon vacancy (SiV) centers coupled to phononic waveguides in diam.nd via strain interactions. By em.loying two sets of tim.-dependent, non-overlapping driving fields, we investigate the generation process and dynam.c properties of m.croscopic quantum.entanglem.nt, providing fresh insights into the behavior of such hybrid quantum.system.. Furtherm.re, it paves the way for new possibilities in utilizing quantum.entanglem.nt as an inform.tion carrier in quantum.inform.tion processing and quantum.com.unication.
