The presence of interstitial electrons in electrides endows them with interesting attributes,such as low work function,high ca.rier concentration,and unique magnetic *** knowledge and understanding of electrides are thus of both scientific and technologica. ***,we employ first-principles ca.culations to investigate Mott-insulating Ae_(5)X_(3)(Ae=ca.Sr,and Ba;X=As and Sb)electrides with Mn_(5)Si_(3)-type structure,in which half-filled interstitial electrons serve as ions and are *** Mott-insulating property is induced by strong electron correlation between the nearest interstitial electrons,resulting in spin splitting and a separation between occupied and unoccupied *** half-filled antiferromagnetic configuration and loca.ization of the interstitial electrons are critica. for the Mott-insulating properties of these *** with that in intermetallic electrides,the orbital hybridization between the half-filled interstitial electrons and the surrounding atoms is weak,leading to highly loca.ized magnetic centers and pronounced correlation ***,the Mott-insulating electrides Ae_(5)X_(3)have very large indirect bandgaps(0.30 eV).In addition,high pressure is found to strengthen the strong correlation effects and enlarge the *** present results provide a deeper understanding of the formation mechanism of Mott-insulating electrides and provide guidance for the search for new strongly correlated electrides.

Introducing urea into tirapazamine derivatives to enhance antica.cer therapy

Tirapazamine（TPZ） has been approved for multiple clinica. trials relying on its excellent antica.cer ***,as a typica. hypoxia-activated prodrug（HAP）,TPZ did not exhibit survival advantages in Phase Ⅲ clinica. trials when used in combination therapy due to the insufficient hypoxia levels in patients' *** this study,to improve the therapeutic effects of TPZ,we first introduced urea to synthesize a series of urea-containing derivatives of *** urea-containing TPZ derivatives showed increased hypoxic cytotoxicity（9.51-30.85-fold） compared with TPZ,while maintaining hypoxic ***,one of these derivatives,showed 20-fold higher cytotoxicity than TPZ while maintaining a similar hypoxic cytotoxicity *** highly efficiently deliver TPZP to the tumors and reduce its side effects on healthy tissues,we further prepared TPZP into a nanodrug with fibrin-targeting ability:***4-NPs,a vascular disrupting agent,was used to increase the fibrin level within tumors and exacerbate tumor *** being combined with ca.-NPs,FT11-TPZP-NPs ca. accumulate in the hypoxia-aggravated tumors and activate sufficiently to kill tumor *** a single-dose treatment,FT11-TPZP-NPs+ca.-NPs showed a high inhibition rate of 98.1% against CT26 tumor models with an initial volume of ～480 mm3and four out of six tumors were completely eliminated;it thereby exerted a significa.t antitumor *** study provides a new strategy for improving the therapeutic effect of TPZ and other HAPs in antica.cer therapy.

Potential health risks related to environmental endocrine disruptors(EEDs)have aroused research hotspots at the forefront of water treatment ***,nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/schwertmannite nanocomposites(N-TiO_(2)/SCH)have been successfully developed as heterogeneous ca.alysts for the degradation of typica. EEDs via photo-Fenton *** to the sustainable Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)conversion induced by photoelectrons,as-prepared N-TiO_(2)/SCH nanocomposites exhibit much enhanced efficiency for the degradation of bisphenol A(BPA;ca.100% within 60 min under visible irradiation)in a wide pH range of 3.0-7.8,which is significa.tly higher than that of the pristine schwertmannite(ca.74.5%)or N-TiO_(2)(ca.10.8%).In this photo-Fenton system,the efficient degradation of BPA is mainly attributed to the oxidation by hydroxyl radica.(·OH)and singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)).Moreover,the possible ca.alytic mechanisms and reaction pathway of BPA degradation are systematica.ly investigated based on analytica. and photoelectrochemica. *** work not only provides a feasible means for the development of novel heterogeneous photo-Fenton ca.alysts,but also lays a theoretica. foundation for the potential applica.ion of mineral-based materials in wastewater treatment.

Structural Foundation and Geometry of the Material Singularity (and Its Quantum Entanglement)

In this paper we develop and study, as the second part of one more general development, the energy transmutation equation for the material singularity, previously obtained through the symmetrisation of a wave packet, that is, we develop the correlation between the terms of this equation, which accounts for the formation of matter from a previous vibrational state, and the different possible energy species. These energetic species are ascribed, in a simplified form, to the equation E¯ω=E¯k+E¯f, which allows us, through its associated phase factor, to gain an insight into the wave character of the kinetic energy and thus to attain the basis of the matter-wave, and all sorts of related phenomenologies, including that concerning quantum entanglement. The formation of the matter was previously identified as an energetic process, analogous to the kinetic one, in which finally the inertial mass is consolidated as a mass in a different phase, now, in addition, the mass of the material singularity is identified as a volumetric density of waves of toroidal geometry created in the process of singularisation or energy transfer between species, which makes it possible to establish the real relation or correspondence between the corpuscular and photonic energy equation (E=mc2=hν), i.e. to explain through m the intimate sense of the first equivalence, which explains what νis in the second one.

A possible probe to neutron-skin thickness by fragment parallel momentum distribution in projectile fragmentation reactions

Neutron-skin thickness is a key parameter for a neutron-rich nucleus;however,it is difficult to *** the framework of the Lanzhou Quantum Molecular Dynamics(LQMD)model,a possible probe for the neutron-skin thickness(δ_(np))of neutron-rich ^(48)ca.was studied in the 140A MeV ^(48)ca.^(9)Be projectile fragmentation reaction based on the parallel momentum distribution(p∥)of the residual fragments.A Fermi-type density distribution was employed to initiate the neutron density distributions in the LQMD simulations.A combined Gaussian function with different width parameters for the left side(Γ_(L))and the right side(Γ_(R))in the distribution was used to describe the p∥of the residual *** neutron-rich sulfur isotopes as examples,Γ_(L) shows a sensitive correlation withδ_(np) of ^(48)ca.and is proposed as a probe for determining the neutron skin thickness of the projectile nucleus.

Assessment of CO_(2)storage prospect based on physica. properties of Rio Bonito Formation rock units

Background: Biliary mucinous cystic neoplasms(BMCNs) are rare hepatobiliary cystic tumors, which ca. be divided into noninvasive and invasive types. This study aimed to investigate the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of BMCNs in a large single center. Methods: We analyzed 49 patients with BMCNs confirmed by postoperative pathology at the First Afflliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine between January 2007 and December 2021. Results: Among the 49 patients, 37 were female(75.5%), and the average age was 57.04 years. Common symptoms included abdominal discomfort, jaundice and fever, while 22 patients(44.9%) had no symptoms. Serum ca.bohydrate antigen(ca. 19-9 and ca.25 concentrations were elevated in 34.8% and 19.6% of patients, respectively. Forty-eight patients had tumors in the intrahepatic bile ducts and only one had a tumor in the extrahepatic bile duct. Forty-eight patients with noninvasive intrahepatic BMCNs were further analyzed in terms of pathologica. features: 34(70.8%) had low-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(LGINs), and 14(29.2%) had high-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(HGINs). The potential immunohistochemica. markers of BMCNs were cytokeratin(CK) 19, CK7, estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor. Follow-up data for 37 patients with intrahepatic BMCNs were obtained. The median overall survival(OS) of BMCNs was not reached. The longest survival time was 137 *** 5-and 10-year OS rates were 100% and 85.4%, respectively. The 5-and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS) rates were 93.9% and 80.2%, respectively. Conclusions: BMCNs are rare cystic neoplasms that commonly occur in middle-aged females. BMCNs ca. only be diagnosed and classified by postoperative pathology, as there are no specific clinica. presentations, serologica. indica.ors or imaging modalities for preoperative diagnosis. Complete surgica. resection is necessary for BMCNs, and the postoperative prognosis is favorable.
