Background There are limited data on the efficacy of drug-eluting stents （DES） for treatment of chronic total occlusions （CTO）. The aim of the study was to evaluate the long-term clinical outcomes of DES implantation for CTO compared with bare-metal stent （BMS） implantation.Methods Between June 1995 and December 2006, a total of 1184 patients with successful recanalization of at least one de novo CTO lesion were consecutively registered, including 660 （55.7%） who underwent DES and 524 （44.3%） who underwent BMS implantation. All patients were followed up for up to 5 years for occurrence of major adverse cardiac events （MACE）. Long-term survival rates were estimated with the Kaplan-Meier method.Results Baseline clinical and angiographic characteristics were comparable between the two groups except that patients in the DES group received longer dual antiplatelet therapy （（7.4±2.5） months vs （1.7±0.8） months, P 〈0.001）. Average follow-up periods were （4.7±0.89） and （3.2±1.3） years for the BMS and DES groups, respectively. There was no significant difference in 5-year survival rates between the two groups （90.3% for DES group vs 89.6% for BMS group, Log-rank P=0.38）, but the 5-year target vessel revascularization （TVR）-free survival rate in the DES group was significantly higher than that in the BMS group （81.6% vs 73.5%, Log-rank P 〈0.001）. The cumulative MACE-free survival in the DES group was also significantly higher than that in the BMS group （80.6% vs 71.5%, Log-rank P〈0.001）. The rates of readmission caused by cardiovascular disease （27.0% vs 37.8%, P 〈0.001） and the need for bypass surgery were significantly lower in the DES group （1.5% vs 3.4%, P 〈0.05）. By multivariable analysis, DES implantation could significantly lower the long-term MACE risk of PCI for CTO patients （HR： 0.492; 95% Cl 0.396-0.656, P 〈0.001）. Left ventricular ejection fraction 〈50% and elderly （〉65 years） were identified as independent predictors of long-term MACE during follow-up.Concl

Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)***,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device *** this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK *** addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain ***,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing *** a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our *** validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

The current single-atom catalysts(SACs)for medicine still suffer from the limited active site ***,we develop a synthetic method capable of increasing both the metal loading and mass-specific activity of SACs by exchanging zinc with *** constructed iron SACs(h^(3)-FNC)with a high metal loading of 6.27 wt%and an optimized adjacent Fe distance of~4 A exhibit excellent oxidase-like catalytic performance without significant activity decay after being stored for six months and promising antibacterial ***,a“density effect”has been found at a high-enough metal doping amount,at which individual active sites become close enough to interact with each other and alter the electronic structure,resulting in significantly boosted intrinsic activity of single-atomic iron sites in h^(3)-FNCs by 2.3 times compared to low-and medium-loading ***,the overall catalytic activity of h^(3)-FNC is highly improved,with mass activity and metal mass-specific activity that are,respectively,66 and 315 times higher than those of commercial Pt/*** addition,h^(3)-FNCs demonstrate efficiently enhanced capability in catalyzing oxygen reduction into superoxide anion(O_(2)·^(−))and glutathione(GSH)*** in vitro and in vivo assays demonstrate the superior antibacterial efficacy of h^(3)-FNCs in promoting wound *** work presents an intriguing activity-enhancement effect in catalysts and exhibits impressive therapeutic efficacy in combating bacterial infections.

Several promising plasma biomarker proteins,such as amyloid-β(Aβ),tau,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein,are widely used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative ***,little is known about the long-term stability of these biomarker proteins in plasma samples stored at-80°*** aimed to explore how storage time would affect the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers using a large *** samples from 229 cognitively unimpaired individuals,encompassing healthy controls and those experiencing subjective cognitive decline,as well as 99 patients with cognitive impairment,comprising those with mild cognitive impairment and dementia,were acquired from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline *** samples were stored at-80°C for up to 6 years before being used in this *** results showed that plasma levels of Aβ42,Aβ40,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein were not significantly correlated with sample storage ***,the level of total tau showed a negative correlation with sample storage ***,in individuals without cognitive impairment,plasma levels of total protein and tau phosphorylated protein threonine 181(p-tau181)also showed a negative correlation with sample storage *** was not observed in individuals with cognitive ***,we speculate that the diagnostic accuracy of plasma p-tau181 and the p-tau181 to total tau ratio may be influenced by sample storage ***,caution is advised when using these plasma biomarkers for the identification of neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer's ***,in cohort studies,it is important to consider the impact of storage time on the overall results.

Objectives To assess the possible association between P2Y12 C34T、G52T polymorphism and clopidogrel resistance in coronary artery disease(CAD) of North China. Methods A case-control study was conducted in 615 patients with angiographically documented *** 615 patients was detected platelet aggregation ratio,and accorded the platelet aggregation ratio to defined Clopidogrel resistance (CR) and None-Clopidogrel resistance(NCR),5μmol/L ADP-induced platelet aggregation ratio≥70%was defined *** P2Y12 C34T、G52T single nucleotide polymorphism was selected and *** The genotype frequencies of CC,CT and TT of P2Y12 C34T polymorphism were 38.36%,50.68%and 10.96%in clopidogrel resistance patients, 50.96%,43.07%and 5.97%in non-clopidogrel resistance patients(P=0.010).The frequencies of P2Y12 C34T T allele frequencies in CR and NCR were 36.30%and 27.51% (P=0.004).The genotype frequencies of GG,GT and TT of P2Y12 G52T polymorphism were 74.66%,24.66%and 0.68%in clopidogrel resistance patients,79.74%,19.83% and 0.43%in non-clopidogrel resistance patients(P>0.05). The frequencies of P2Y12 G52T T allele frequencies in CR and NCR were 13.01%and 10.34%(P>0.05).After adjustment for conventional risk factors,including gender,age, body mass index,smoking status,hypertension,diabetes mellitus and hypercholesterolemia,there was significant difference between P2Y12 C34T polymorphism and clopidogel resistance (P =0.007).Conclusions The results suggest that P2Y12 C34T polymorphism might associated with clopidogrel resistance in CAD population of North China.
