Warming and nitrogen(N)addition may impact soil nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emissions,but the relationship between plant community composition and soil microbial activities remains *** a two-year field study in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,open-top chambers were used to quantify the effects of warming,N-addition,and their interactions on N_(2)O *** found that the N-addition greatly increased N_(2)O emissions by 77.4%in 2018 when compared to the control *** contrast,warming showed little effect on N_(2)0 emissions but did increase the activity of enzymes associated with soil nitrification and denitrification.A combined effect of warming and N-addition of resulted in 208.6%(2018)and 90.8%(2019)increase in N_(2)0 emissions,respectively,compared to the individual treatments of warming or *** warming in alpine meadows is causally linked to increased legume biomass which is further intensified with the *** legume biomass(pgen(MBC/MBN)(pgest that warming and atmospheric N deposition can stimulate N_(2)O emissions of alpine meadows inthefuture.

BACKGROUND The specific benefits of yangxinshi tablet(YXST)in the treating chronic heart failure(CHF)remain *** To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of YXST in the treatment of *** Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)investigating YXST for CHF treatment were retrieved from eight public databases up to November ***-analyses of the included clinical studies were conducted using Review Manager *** Twenty RCTs and 1845 patients were *** meta-analysis results showed that the YXST combination group,compared to the conventional drug group,significantly increased the clinical efficacy rate by 23%[relative risk(RR)=1.23,95%CI:1.17-1.29],(Pger's test results indicated no significant publication bias(P=0.557).CONCLUSION YXST effectively improves clinical symptoms and cardiac function in patients with CHF while maintaining a favorable safety profile,suggesting its potential as a therapeutic strategy for CHF.

Exploring the structure-activity relationship between the performance of gas sensors and the structure of semiconductor metal oxide （SMO） nanomaterials is crucial for understanding and designing gas-sensing materials and overcoming the application limitations of SMO-based gas *** of a single SMO microstructure provides a promising solution to address this scientific problem due to its controllable *** this study,we control the grain boundary （GB） density of Fe2O3nanomaterials using a simple solvothermal *** have similar chemical compositions and crystal phases,providing an ideal platform for studying the influence of the GB density on the gas-sensing ***-sensing tests showed that the Fe2O3-1 sensor with medium GB density and the Fe2O3-2 sensor with high GB density had higher sensitivity and selectivity than the Fe2O3-0 sensors with low GB density before reaching the optimal operating ***,when the GB density increased,the response to acetone decreased slightly,whereas the optimal operating temperature *** work highlights the unique performance of the GB density in enhancing the gas sensitivity of a single SMO.

The gut microbiota significantly influences host physiology and provides essential ecosystem *** diet can affect the composition of the gut microbiota,the gut microbiota can also help the host adapt to specific dietary *** carrion crow(Corvus corone),an urban facultative scavenger bird,hosts an abundance of pathogens due to its scavenging *** this,carrion crows infrequently exhibit illness,a phenomenon related to their unique physiological *** present,however,the role of the gut microbiota remains incompletely *** this study,we performed a comparative analysis using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing technology to assess colonic content in carrion crows and 16 other bird species with different diets in Beijing,*** findings revealed that the dominant gut microbiota in carrion crows was primarily composed of Proteobacteria(75.51%)and Firmicutes(22.37%).Significant differences were observed in the relative abundance of Enterococcus faecalis among groups,highlighting its potential as a biomarker of facultative scavenging behavior in carrion ***,*** isolated from carrion crows was transplanted into model mice to explore the protective effects of this bacterial community against Salmonella enterica *** showed that *** down-regulated the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interferon gamma(IFN-γ),and interleukin 6(IL-6),prevented *** colonization,and regulated the composition of gut microbiota in mice,thereby modulating the host’s immune regulatory ***,*** exerts immunoregulatory and anti-pathogenic functions in carrion crows engaged in scavenging behavior,offering a representative case of how the gut microbiota contributes to the protection of hosts with specialized diets.

Wogonin(WOG)has been demonstrated to have anti-cancer activity,but the mechanisms remain *** this study,new targets of WOG were predicted for lung cancer,bladder cancer,and colon cancer by using bioinformatics *** might primarily suppress cancers via regulating arachidonic acid,Ras,MAPK,linoleic acid,PI3K Akt,and folate biosynthesis pathways.3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium(MTS)assay showed that WOG inhibited the proliferation of A549 ***-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR(RT-qPCR)results indicated that anti-lung cancer effect of WOG was achieved by regulating the expression of 18 target genes,including AKRIBI0,AKRIC3,BDNF,CAVI,CXCL2,CYP2B6,CYP4F3,DAO,EGF,ENO3,IL6,PLA2GlB,PLA2G2F,PLA2G4A,PTgeS,SLCOIBI,SLCOIB3,and *** Kaplan-Meier survival curves further confirmed that DAO,PLA2G1B,SLCO1B3 and TFAP2A were essential targets via which WOG affected lung cancer ***,BDNF,FGF2,and PTGS1 were predicted to be the targets via which WOG alleviated cancer proliferation and invasion in bladder *** for colon cancer,WOG might induce autophagy and inhibit proliferation by down-regulating NTF4 and *** study will provide clue for using wOG as a promising antineoplastic agent in basic and translational research,and bring light to the application of herbs containing WOG as food supplements.

Objective:The objective of this research was to explore the difference and correlation of the morphological and hemodynamic features between sidewall and bifurcation aneurysms in anterior circulation arteries,utilizing computational fluid dynamics as a tool for ***:In line with the designated inclusion criteria,this study covered 160 aneurysms identified in 131 patients who received treatment at Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College,huazhong University of Science and Technology,China,from January 2021 to September *** follow-up digital subtraction angiography(DSA)data,these cases were classified into two distinct groups:the sidewall aneurysm group and the bifurcation aneurysm *** and hemodynamic parameters in the immediate preoperative period were meticulously calculated and examined in both groups using a three-dimensional DSA reconstruction ***:No significant differences were found in the morphological or hemodynamic parameters of bifurcation aneurysms at varied locations within the anterior ***,pronounced differences were identified between sidewall and bifurcation aneurysms in terms of morphological parameters such as the diameter of the parent vessel(Dvessel),inflow angle(θF),and size ratio(SR),as well as the hemodynamic parameter of inflow concentration index(ICI)(P0.5,P<0.001).Conclusions:The significant differences in certain morphological and hemodynamic parameters between sidewall and bifurcation aneurysms emphasize the importance to contemplate variances in threshold values for these parameters when evaluating the risk of rupture in anterior circulation *** it is a bifurcation or sidewall aneurysm,these disparities should be *** morphological parameter SR has the potential to be a val
