The organotypic retinal explant culture has been established for more than a decade and offers a range of unique advantages compared with in vivo experiments and cell ***,the lack of systematic and continuous comparison between in vivo retinal development and the organotypic retinal explant culture makes this model controversial in postnatal retinal development ***,we aimed to verify the feasibility of using this model for postnatal retinal development studies by comparing it with the in vivo *** this study,we showed that postnatal retinal explants undergo normal development,and exhibit a consistent structure and timeline with retinas in ***,we used SOX2 and PAX6 immunostaining to identify retinal progenitor *** then examined cell proliferation and migration by immunostaining with Ki-67 and doublecortin,***-67-and doublecortin-positive cells decreased in both in vivo and explants during postnatal retinogenesis,and exhibited a high degree of similarity in abundance and distribution between ***,we used Ceh-10 homeodomain-containing homolog,glutamate-ammonia ligase(glutamine synthetase),neuronal nuclei,and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 immunostaining to examine the emergence of bipolar cells,Müller glia,mature neurons,and microglia,*** timing and spatial patterns of the emergence of these cell types were remarkably consistent between in vivo and explant *** study showed that the organotypic retinal explant culture model had a high degree of consistency with the progression of in vivo early postnatal retina *** findings confirm the accuracy and credibility of this model and support its use for long-term,systematic,and continuous observation.

Double carbohelicenes have attracted considerable attention due to their aesthetic structures, distinct π-conjugation extension, inherent chirality, and intriguing optical and electronic properties. Herein, the concise de novo synthesis of a new double[5]carbohelicene 1 together with its chiroptical properties, isomerization process and lasing application is presented. 1 was synthesized by a simple protocol involving the formation of a 6,6′-bipentacene as the key intermediate. It is worth noting that1 existed as two diastereomers 1-PP/MM and 1-PM, which were successfully isolated and unambiguously confirmed by Xray crystallography. The optical resolution of the racemic 1-PP/MM was successfully achieved by chiral-phase highperformance liquid chromatography（HPLC）, and 1-PP and 1-MM were characterized by circular dichroism. Interestingly, it was found that 1-PP/MM could be completely isomerized to 1-PM upon heating, and the detailed thermodynamics and kinetics of the isomerization process were systematically investigated. 1-PM exhibited deep-red luminescence with emission maximum at 723 nm and fluorescence quantum yield as high as 32.95%. Consequently, we can showcase the lasing application of 1-PM by doping with epoxy resin to assemble a bottle microlaser spontaneously, which the lasing wavelength is 796.6 nm at a threshold of 0.8 m J cm-2. We believe that our studies, including the facile synthesis methodology, detailed isomerization studies, and lasing application, will shed some light on the design and synthesis of novel carbohelical systems with more functions.

The cavitation is ubiquitous in the water delivery system of high hydraulic head navigation *** paper studies the choked cavitation characteristics of the gap flows in the valve lintel of the navigation locks and analyzes the critical self-aeration *** cavitation gap flow in the valve lintel is experimentally and numerically investigated.A visualized 1:1 full-scale slicing model is designed,with a high-speed camera,the details of the cavitation flow is captured without the reduced scale ***,the numerical simulations are conducted to reveal the flow structures in the *** experimental results show that the flow pattern of the gap flow in the valve lintel could be separated into four models,namely,the incipient(1)the developing,(2),the intensive,(3),and the choked(4)cavitation *** numerical simulation results are consistent with the experimental *** choked cavitation conditions are crucial to the gap flow in the valve *** the choked cavitation occurs,the gap is entirely occupied by two cavitation cloud *** gap pressure then decreases sharply to the saturated water vapor pressure at the operating *** water vapor pressure is the ultimate negative pressure in the gap that remains unchanged with the continuous decrease of the downstream *** volumetric flow rate reaches a peak,then remains constant,with the further decrease of the pressure ratio or the cavitation *** the choking point,the volumetric flow rate is proportional to the root mean square of the difference between the upstream pressure(absolute pressure)and the saturated pressure of the ***,the pressure ratio is linearly correlated with the downstream cavitation number with a slope of(1+ζc).

The digital twin-driven performance model provides an attractive option for the warn gas-path faults of the gas ***,three technical difficulties need to be solved:(1)low modeling precision caused by individual differences between gas turbines,(2)poor solution efficiency due to excessive iterations,and(3)the false alarm and missing alarm brought by the traditional fixed threshold *** paper proposes a digital twin model-based early warning method for gas-path faults that breaks through the above obstacles from three ***,a novel performance modeling strategy is proposed to make the simulation effect close to the actual gas turbine by fusing the mechanism model and measurement ***,the idea of controlling the relative accuracy of model parameters is *** introduction of an error module to the existing model can greatly shorten the modeling *** third solution focuses on the early warning based on the digital twin model,which self-learns the alarm threshold of the warning feature of gas-path parameters using the kernel density *** proposed method is utilized to analyze actual measured data of LM2500+,and the results verify that the new-built digital model has higher accuracy and better *** comparisons show that the proposed method shows evident superiority in early warning of performance faults for gas turbines over other methods.

针对高温高压流动工况下,空化状态判断困难、传统分析方法难以有效提取压力脉动信号中的有效信息的问题,以孔板为对象,开展了高温高压水的空化实验,并提出了一种基于遗传算法的自适应变分模态分解(AVMD)算法。该算法通过结合中心频率法、遗传算法、功率谱熵和相对能量等技术,自适应地确定变分模态分解算法中的超参数并有效去除信号中的噪声成分,提高了空化特征的提取精度。结果表明:AVMD算法能够精确捕捉到高温高压水流经孔板时空化现象的发生和发展,识别空化起始点、转捩点以及空化强度的变化;当高温高压水流经孔板后,压力脉动的无量纲频率在0.04~0.35、压力脉动的无量纲幅值在0.014~0.067时,空化现象开始出现;随着空化强度增加,管内压力脉动幅值和频率整体呈增大趋势;空化起始转捩点及空化严重转捩点与入口压力和工质入口过冷度密切相关。AVMD算法能够有效提高空化特性分析的精度,尤其是在复杂流动条件下的空化预测,为压水堆核电站冷却剂系统和高压蒸汽系统的稳定运行提供理论依据和参考。

Objective Previous work has showed that excess iron accumulation is harrnftd to reproduction and even promotes death; however, whether the multiple biological toxicity of iron （Fe） exposure could be transferred to progeny remains unknown. The present study used Caenorhabditis elegans to analyze the multiple toxicities of iron exposure and their possible transferable properties. Methods Three concentrations of iron sulfate solution （2.5μmol/L, 75μmol/L, and 200 μmol/L） were used. The endpoints of lifespan, body size, generation time, brood size, head thrash and body bend frequencies, and chemotaxis plasticity were selected to investigate Fe toxicity and its effect on progeny in Caenorhabditis elegans. Results The Fe toxicity could cause multiple biological defects in a dose-dependent manner by affecting different endpoints in nematodes. Most of the multiple biological defects and behavior toxicities could be transferred from Fe-exposed Caenorhabditis elegans to their progeny. Compared to the parents, no recovery phenotypes were observed for some of the defects in the progeny, such as body bend frequency and life span. We further summarized the defects caused by Fe exposure into 2 groups according to their transferable properties. Conclusion Our results suggest that Fe exposure could cause multiple biological defects, and most of these severe defects could be transferred from Fe exposed nematodes to their progeny.
