Fabrication of Ni-Zn spinel ferrite with superior magnetic performance from electric arc furnace dust and iron scale

The Ni-ZnFe_(2)O_(4)(NixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4),x=0.4-0.7)spinel was synthesized using Zn2+extracted from electric arc furnace dust(EAFD),nickel chloride hexahydrate,and Fe^(3+)extracted from iron scale as raw *** zinc was selectively extracted from EAFD using CaO roasting followed by NH_(4)Cl solution *** ferric ion was leached from iron scale using HCl solution as acid *** experimental results demonstrate a high level of efficiency in the extraction of zinc,with a rate of 97.5%,and the leaching rate of ferric ion is 96.89%.The composition of the leaching solution is primary zinc and iron with low calcium,which is beneficial to the preparation of spinel *** influence of Ni content(x)and calcination temperature on the synthesis and magnetic properties of NixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4)compounds was investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and vibrating sample *** results revealed that both Ni content and calcination temperature significantly affect the synthesis and magnetic properties of spinel NixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4).Under the conditions of Ni content set at x=0.6,calcination temperature of 1100℃,and a duration of 2 h,a spinel NixZn_(1-x)Fe_(2)O_(4)with high saturation magnetization(Ms=65.7 A m2 kg-1)and low coercivity(Hc=0.056 A m^(-1))was obtained.

Syntax score predicts clinical outcome in patients with three-vessel coronary artery disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Background The Syntax score was recently developed as a comprehensive, angiographic tool grading the complexity of coronary artery disease （CAD）. It aims to assist in patient selection and risk stratification of patients with extensive CAD undergoing revascularization. However, the prognostic value of the Syntax score in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） has not been validated. The aim of this study was to evaluate its role in predicting long-term incidences of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events （MACCE） in patients undergoing PCI for 3-vessel *** Two hundred and three consecutive patients with de novo 3-vessel CAD undergoing PCI with sirolimus-eluting stents were studied. Their angiograms were scored according to the Syntax score. The patients were divided into tertiles according to the Syntax score： lowest Syntax score tertile （Syntax score 〈22）, intermediate Syntax score tertile （Syntax score of 23 to 32）, and the highest Syntax score tertile （Syntax score 〉33）. During the 1-year follow-up, the MACCE-free survival curves were estimated by the Kaplan-Meier method. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analyses were performed to evaluate the relation between the Syntax score and the incidence of MACCE. Performance of the Syntax score was studied with respect to predicting the rate of MACCE by receiver operator characteristic （ROC） curves with an area under the *** The overall Syntax score ranged from 6 to 66 with mean ± standard deviation of 27.9±12.6 and a median of 26. At 1 year, the Syntax score significantly predicted the risk of MACCE （HR 1.07/U increase, 95% Cl 1.04 to 1.11, P 〈0.001）. A Multi-Condition Sequential Network Ensemble for Industrial Energy Storage Prediction Considering the Condition Switching Characteristics

As a crucial storage and buffering apparatus for balancing the production and consumption of byproduct gases in industrial processes, accurate prediction of gas tank levels is essential for optimizing energy system scheduling. Considering that the continuous switching of the pressure and valve status(mechanism knowledge) would bring about multiple working conditions of the equipment, a multi-condition time sequential network ensembled method is proposed. In order to especially consider the time dependence of different conditions, a centralwise condition sequential network is developed, where the network branches are specially designed based on the condition switching sequences. A branch combination transfer learning strategy is developed to tackle the sample imbalance problem of different condition data. Since the condition or status data are real-time information that cannot be recognized during the prediction process, a pre-trained and ensemble learning approach is further proposed to fuse the outputs of the multi-condition networks and realize a transient-state involved prediction. The performance of the proposed method is validated on practical energy data coming from a domestic steel plant, comparing with the state-of-the-art algorithms. The results show that the proposed method can maintain a high prediction accuracy under different condition switching cases, which would provide effective guidance for the optimal scheduling of the industrial energy systems.

Unraveling the precise mineralization age is vital to understand the geodynamic setting and ore-forming mechanism of the sediment-hosted Pb-Zn deposit;this has long been a *** Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou(SYG)triangle in the southwestern margin of the yangtze Block is a globally recognized carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn metallogenic province and also an essential part of the South China low-temperature metallogenic *** region has>30 million tons(Mt)Zn and Pb resources and shows the enrichment of dispersed metals,such as Ga,Ge,Cd,Se,and *** the past 2 decades,abundant data on mineralization ages of Pb-Zn deposits within the SYG triangle have been documented based on various radioisotopic dating methods,resulting in significant progress in understanding the geodynamic background and ore formation of Pb-Zn deposits hosted in sedimentary rocks at SYG *** paper provides a comprehensive summary of the geochronological results and Pb-Sr isotopic data regarding Pb-Zn deposits in the SYG triangle,which identified two distinct Pb-Zn mineralization periods influencing the dynamic processes associated with the expansion and closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean in the western margin of the yangtze *** predominant phase of Pb-Zn mineralization at SYG triangle spanned from the Middle Triassic to Early Jurassic(226-191 Ma),which was intensely correlated with the large-scale basin fluid transport triggered by the closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean and Indosinian *** secondary Pb-Zn mineralization phase occurred during the Late Devonian to Late Carboniferous and was controlled by extensional structures associated with the expansion of the Paleo-Tethys *** investigation is necessary to clarify the occurrence and potential factors involved in the Pb-Zn mineralization events during the Late Devonian to Late Carboniferous.

Experimental Study and a Modified Model for Temperature-Recovery Stress of Shape Memory Alloy Wire under Different Temperatures

Corystosperms, an extinct group of “seed ferns” that lived from the late Permian to the Cretaceous or Eocene, are significant for seed plant phylogeny for their unique roles in partially resolving the long-standing question of angiosperm origins.A new fossil wood taxon, Fengweioxylon sinense gen. et sp. nov. is reported here based on exceptionally preserved wood material from the Jurassic in western Liaoning, China, whose peculiar wood structure enables it to be recognized as the first unequivocal fossil wood record of a corystosperm plant in Laurasia. The anatomical structures of this corystosperm wood show gymnospermous characters. The discovery of the new specimen will provide more anatomical evidence for understanding the systematic and affinity of this seed plants.

A novel pair of oleanane nor-triterpenes,with compound 1 featuring a unique 18α-H structure,was isolated from mastic,and this compound represents a noteworthy new entity not previously reported in the *** absolute configurations of their structures were further determined using a combination of different analytical methods such as NMR,high-resolution mass spectrometry(HR-MS),ultraviolet(UV),infrared(IR)and single-crystal X-ray diffraction(SXRD).The compound actively mitigated inflammations by efficiently quenching nitric oxide(NO)synthesis within an ex vivo system using lipopolysaccharide activated murine macrophage RAW264.7 ***,compound 1 exhibit a better IC50 concentration of 11.69±1.39µM,surpassing the efficacy of the positive control dexamethasone,which exhibited an IC50 of 23.21±1.17μ*** compound 2 also demonstrated inhibitory activity,its potency was comparatively weaker,with an IC50 of 26.18±2.66μM.

In order to better build the neutral beam injector with negative ion source (NNBI), the pre-research on key technologies has been carried out for the comprehensive research facility for fusion technology (CRFFT). Cesium seeding into negative-ion sources is a prerequisite to obtain the required negative hydrogen ion. The performance of ion source largely depends on the cesium conditions in the source. It is very necessary to quantitatively measure the amount of cesium in the source during the plasma on and off periods (vacuum stage).
