Safety evaluation of toppling rock slopes developing in reservoir areas is crucial. To reduce the uncertainty of safety evaluation, this study developed a composite cloud model, which improved the combination weights of the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) and criteria importance through intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) methods. A safety evaluation system was developed according to in situ monitoring data. The backward cloud generator was used to calculate the numerical characteristics of a cloud model of quantitative indices, and different virtual clouds were used to synthesize some clouds into a generalized one. The synthesized numerical characteristics were calculated to comprehensively evaluate the safety of toppling rock slopes. A case study of a toppling rock slope near the Huangdeng Hydropower Station in China was conducted using monitoring data collected since operation of the hydropower project began. The results indicated that the toppling rock slope was moderately safe with a low safety margin. The composite cloud model considers the fuzziness and randomness of safety evaluation and enables interchange between qualitative and quantitative knowledge. This study provides a new theoretical method for evaluating the safety of toppling rock slopes. It can aid in the predication, control, and even prevention of disasters.

There are many fracture zones crossing the dam foundation of the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Project in southwestern China. Clastic rock is the main media of the fracture zone and has poor physical and mechanical properties. In order to investigate the creep behavior of clastic rock, triaxial creep tests were conducted using a rock servo-controlling rheological testing machine. The results show that the creep behavior of clastic rock is significant at a high level of deviatoric stress, and less time-dependent deformation occurs at high confining pressure. Based on the creep test results, the relationship between axial strain and time under different confining pressures was investigated, and the relationship between axial strain rate and deviatoric stress was also discussed. The strain rate increases rapidly, and the rock sample fails eventually under high deviatoric stress. Moreover, the creep failure mechanism under different confining pressures was analyzed. The main failure mechanism of clastic rock is plastic shear, accompanied by a significant compression and ductile dilatancy. On the other band, with the determined parameters, the Burgers creep model was used to fit the creep curves. The results indicate that the Burgers model can exactly describe the creep behavior of clastic rock in the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Project.

The unloading relaxation caused by excavation for construction of high arch dams is an important factor influencing the foundation’s integrity and *** evaluate the degree of unloading relaxation,the long-short term memory(LSTM)network was used to estimate the depth of unloading relaxation zones on the left bank foundation of the Baihetan Arch *** component analysis indicates that rock charac-teristics,the structural plane,the protection layer,lithology,and time are the main *** LSTM network results demonstrate the unloading relaxation characteristics of the left bank,and the relationships with the factors were also *** structural plane has the most significant influence on the distribution of unloading relaxation *** with massive basalt,the columnar jointed basalt experiences a more significant unloading relaxation phenomenon with a clear time effect,with the average unloading relaxation period being 50 *** protection layer can effectively reduce the unloading relaxation depth by approximately 20%.

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of seminal plasma miR-210-3p in the impairment of semen quality caused by *** study included 102 patients whose semen quality was normal when they were diagnosed with varicocele.A 2-year follow-up for included patients was performed,and they were divided into Group A(semen quality became abnormal)and Group B(semen quality remained normal)according to the results of semen analysis during the *** parameters and seminal plasma miR-210-3p expression were investigated by semen analysis and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,*** vitro experiments with GC-2 cells were performed to explore the role of miR-210-3p in spermatogenic *** results of quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction showed that the level of seminal plasma miR-210-3p in Group A was higher than that in Group B both after 2-year follow-up and when they were diagnosed with varicocele(both P<0.01).Apoptosis and proliferation assays showed that miR-210-3p induces apoptosis of spermatogenic cells by promoting caspase-3 *** conclusion,our study indicated that seminal plasma miR-210-3p induces spermatogenic cell apoptosis by activating caspase-3 in patients with *** plasma miR-210-3p may be a potential biomarker for predicting impaired semen quality caused by varicocele.

Finding the novel drug from the effective components of traditional Chinese herbal medicine is a hotspot of the modem pharmacological research. Hyperoside （HYP） belongs to flavonoid glycosides, and it has various properties, such as anti-inflammation, anti-spasm, anti-diuretic, antitussive, lowering blood pressure, and lowering cholesterol effects as well as protective effects for the cardiac and cerebral blood vessels. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of HYP on inflammatory and apoptotic responses in vascular endothelial cells stimulated by lipopolysaccharide （LPS） and further to identify the possible mechanisms underlying these effects. In our study, human umbilical vein endothelial cells （HUVECs） were stimulated with 1 Bg/mL LPS in the presence or absence of HYP （10, 20 and 50 μmol/L）. Our results indicated that HYP alone exerted no cytotoxicity on HUVECs, while it had an upregulatory effect on the viability of HUVECs induced by LPS in a dose-dependent manner; increased mRNA expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNFα and iNOS induced by LPS was attenuated after treatment with HYP both in a dose- and time-dependent manner; LPS-induced HUVECs apoptosis and cleaved-caspase 8, 9, 3 were all significantly reduced by HYP. Furthermore, the possible pathway involved in apoptosis and inflammation by HYP was detected, and the results showed that when treated with HYP, LPS-induced mitochondrial membrane instability was significantly inhibited through up-regulation of Bcl-2 and down-regulation of Bax. Furthermore, the expression of TLR4 and the phosphorylation of IκBα and p65 in LPS-treated cells were blocked by HYP. Our results suggested that HYP treatment prevented HUVECs from LPS- induced inflammation and apoptosis responses, which might be mediated by inhibiting TLR4/ NFκB pathway.

目的:建立一种较为快速和快速确定非均匀岩土材料渗透系数的方法。创新点:建立了一种可以从图像到数值模型的数字图像方法:通过拍照、CT等手段获取岩土材料的图像,进而通过数值分析确定等效参数。方法:1.将采集到彩色图像从RGB空间转化到HSI空间,选取识别度较高的空间进行二值化处理;2.获取二值化图像后采用邻域标记算法标记,结合本文提出的算法提取边界(图9和10);3.结合边界修正算法对锯齿状边界进行修正(图11);4.确定表征细观几何模型(图12和表1);5.绘制网格开展数值分析,确定宏观参数。结论:1.基于数值图像的非均匀岩土材料渗透系数确定方法可以较为准确地估算渗透系数,可以为工程设计提供初步依据。2.非均匀岩土材料具有明显的尺寸效应,随着尺寸增加,渗透率的变化逐渐趋于稳定;当材料视为岩石和土体的二元介质时,两种性质差异在10倍以内对宏观特性的影响较大,大于10倍之后影响减弱。3.岩土材料渗透率随着内部块石含量的增加而减小,但是内部块石的形态对渗透率也有一定的影响。

Combination of lenalidomide with dexamethasone （LD） is of high effectiveness for treatment of multiple myeloma （MM）, resulting in an improved overall survival, response rate, and time to progression in relapsed or refractory MM. Adverse events, especially venous thromboembolism, were generally well tolerated. In addition, lenalidomide plus dexamethasone is a potential therapy in maintenance of myeloma.

Background： The primary cause of ischemic heart failure （HF） is myocardial infarction （MI） resulting in left ventricle （LV） wall motion abnormality secondary to ventricular remodeling. A prospective, nonrandomized study conducted in China was designed to assess safety and efficacy of the percutaneous ventricular restoration therapy using Parachute device （CardioKinetix, lnc., CA, USA） in ischemic HF patients as a result of LV remodeling after anterior wall M1. Methods： Thirty-one patients with New York Heart Association （NYHA） Class I1, I11 ischemic HF, ejection traction between 15% and 40%, and dilated akinetic or dyskinetic anterior-apical wall without the need to be revascularized were enrolled from seven sites in China from October to December 2014. The Parachute device was implanted through femoral artery. All patients received low-dose aspirin and anticoagulation with warfarin tbr at least 12 months postdevice implantation. The primary end-point was the assessment of efficacy as measured by the reduction in LV end-systolic volume index （LVESVI） against baseline LVESVI at 3 months postdevice implantation, determined by the echocardiography and measured by echocardiography core laboratory. Quality of life was assessed using EQ-SD and visual analog scale （VAS）. For quantitative data comparison, paired t-test （normality data） and signed-rank test （abnormality data） were used： application of signed-rank test was tbr the ranked data comparison. Results： A change in LVESVI as measured by echocardiography from the preimplant baseline to 3-month postdevice implantation revealed a statistically significant reduction from 77.5 ~ 20.0 ml/m-＇ to 53,1 ~ 17.0 ml/m-＂（P 〈 0.0001 ）, The trial met its primary end-point. Of the 31 patients, the procedural success was 96.8%. Overall, NYHA HF class assessment results showed an improvement of more than halfa class at 3 months （P 〈 0.001 ）. Intervertebral disc degeneration and bone density in degenerative lumbar scoliosis： a comparative study between patients with degenerative lumbar scoliosis and patients with lumbar stenosis

Degenerative lumbar scoliosis is common in older patients. Decreased bone density and the degeneration of intervertebral discs are considered to be correlated with degenerative lumbar scoliosis. A means of quantifying the retative signal intensity for degenerative disc disease has not been previously discussed. The purpose of this study was to compare bone mineral density and intervertebral disc degeneration between degenerative lumbar scoliosis and lumbar spinal stenosis patients in a nine-year retrospective study. Methods From January 2001 to August 2010, 96 patients with degenerative lumbar scoliosis were retrospectively enrolled and 96 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis were selected as controls. Cobb angle, height of the apical disc and the contiguous disc superiorly and inferiorly on convex and concave sides, the height of the convex and concave side of the apical and the contiguous vertebral body superiorly and inferiorly were measured in the scoliosis group. The height of L2/L3, L3/L4, L4/L5 discs and the height of L2/L4 vertebral body was measured in the control group. The grade of intervertebral disc degeneration was evaluated using T2Wl sagittal images in both groups. The bone density of lumbar vertebrae was measured with dual-energy X-ray. Results In scoliosis group, the intervertebral disc height on the convex side was greater than the height on the concave side （P 〈0.001）. The vertebral body height on the convex side was greater than the height on the concave side （P=0.016） There was a significant difference between the scoliosis group and the control group （P=0.003）, and between T-value and the rate of osteoporosis between the two groups （both P 〈0.001）. Results were verified using multiple linear regression analysis. Conclusions Degenerative lumbar scoliosis is accompanied by height asymmetry between the intervertebral disc and vertebral body regarding the convex and concave surfaces.
