The crosstalk between clathrin-mediated endocytosis(CME)and the autophagy pathway has been reported in mammals;however,the interconnection of CME with autophagy has not been established in ***,we report that the Arabidopsis CLATHRIN LIGHT CHAIN(CLC)subunit 2 and 3 double mutant,clc2-1 clc3-1,phenocopies Arabidopsis AUTOPHAGY-RELATED GENE(ATG)mutants in both autoimmunity and nutrient ***,the autophagy pathway is significantly compromised in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,multiple assays demonstrate that CLC2 directly interacts with ATG8h/ATG8i in a domain-specific *** expected,both GFP-ATG8h/GFP-ATG8i and CLC2-GFP are subjected to autophagic degradation,and degradation of GFP-ATG8h is significantly reduced in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,simultaneous knockout of ATG8h and ATG8i by CRISPR-Cas9 results in enhanced resistance against Golovinomyces cichoracearum,supporting the functional relevance of the CLC2-ATG8h/8i *** conclusion,our results reveal a link between the function of CLCs and the autophagy pathway in Arabidopsis.

Surgical treatment and visual outcomes of cataract with persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous

AIM：To evaluate the surgical treatment and visual outcomes of eyes with cataract and persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous（PHPV）.METHODS：This retrospective study included patients with cataract and PHPV treated with various *** PHPV was treated using phacoemulsification with underwater electric coagulation on posterior capsule neovascularization,posterior capsulotomy,anterior vitrectomy,and intraocular lens（IOL）implantation. Posterior PHPV was treated with lensectomy,posterior vitrectomy,retinal photocoagulation,and IOL implantation or silicone oil tamponade. Visual acuity（VA）,pattern visual evoked potential（P-VEP）,anatomic recovery,postoperative complications,and amblyopia outcome were *** were followed-up for 3-48 mo after ***：Of the 30 patients（33 eyes）with congenital cataract and PHPV included（average age,39.30±35.47mo）,9 eyes had anterior PHPV and 24 had posterior PHPV. Thirty-two eyes were surgically treated. Eyes with anterior PHPV received an IOL during one-stage（6 eyes）and twostage（3 eyes）implantation. Postoperative complications included retinal detachment（1 eye）and recurrent anterior chamber hemorrhage（1 eye）. In eyes with posterior PHPV,6 and 11 eyes received IOLs in one-and two-stage procedures,respectively. Silicone oil was retained in 2 eyes,and IOLs were not implanted in 4 eyes. VA significantly improved in 25 eyes following operations and 3-48 mo of amblyopia treatment. P-VEP P_（100） was improved following surgery in both PHPV ***：Our surgical strategies are appropriate and effective for anterior and posterior PHPV. Early surgical intervention and amblyopia therapy result in positive treatment outcomes.

Morphology and valence state evolution of Cu:Unraveling the impact on nitric oxide electroreduction

Ammonia(NH3)serves as a critical component in the fertilizer industry and fume gas ***,the conventional NH3production process,namely the Haber-Bosch process,leads to considerable energy consumption and waste gas *** address this,electrocatalytic nitric oxide reduction reaction(NORR)has emerged as a promising strategy to bridge NH3consumption to NH3production,harnessing renewable electricity for a sustainable ***(Cu)stands out as a prominent electrocatalyst for NO reduction,given its exceptional NH3yield and ***,a crucial aspect that remains insufficiently explored is the effects of morphology and valence states of Cu on the NORR *** this investigation,we synthesized CuO nanowires(CuO-NF)and Cu nanocubes(Cu-NF)as cathodes through an in situ growth ***,CuO-NF exhibited an impressive NH3yield of 0.50±0.02 mg cm^(-2)h^(-1)at-0.6 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE)with faradaic efficiency of29,68%±1,35%,surpassing that of Cu-NF(0.17±0.01 mg cm^(-2)h^(-1),16.18%±1.40%).Throughout the electroreduction process,secondary cubes were generated on the CuO-NF surface,preserving their nanosheet cluster morphology,sustained by an abundant supply of subsurface oxygen(s-O)even after an extended duration of 10 h,until s-O depletion ***,Cu-NF exhibited inadequate s-O content,leading to rapid crystal collapse within the same *** distinctive current-potential relationship,akin to a volcano-type curve,was attributed to distinct NO hydrogenation *** Tafel analysis revealed the exchange current density(i0)and standard heterogeneous rate constant(k0)for CuO-NF,yielding 3.44×10^(-6)A cm^(-2)and 3.77×10^(-6)cm^(-2)s^(-1)when NORR was driven by *** findings revealed the potential of CuO-NF for NO reduction and provided insights into the intricate interplay between crystal morphology,valence states,and electrochemical performance.

Understanding the mechanisms and potential pathways of soil carbon sequestration from the biogeochemistry perspective

Soil carbon sequestration is listed by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change as one of the key ways to achieve long-term “carbon neutrality” in the context of global warming. Soil carbon sequestration is a complex biogeochemical process that involves plants, microbes, and rock minerals at its core. Yet, its regulation mechanisms and promotion pathways remain unclear. This paper reviews recent progress in the related domestic and international research and provides an overview of the key processes and mechanisms of soil carbon sequestration. The main pathways for enhancing soil carbon sequestration(including plant inputs, mineral protection, microbial transformation, and rock weathering) are summarized. The paper also discusses and synthesizes how advanced biogeochemical methods and technologies may be employed to explore soil carbon sequestration mechanisms and potentials. The overall aim of this review is to improve our understanding of soil carbon sequestration as a nature-based solution to combatting climate change from the biogeochemistry perspective, and to highlight the role of fundamental research in Earth Sciences in helping to achieve China's carbon neutrality goals.

Causal Analysis Between Rice Growth and Cadmium Accumulation and Transfer under Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Inoculation

Cadmium(Cd)contamination in rice has been a serious threat to human *** investigate the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)on the Cd translocation in rice,a controlled pot experiment was *** results indicated that AMF significantly increased rice biomass,with an increase of up to 40.0%,particularly in root biomass by up to 68.4%.Notably,the number of prominent rice individuals also increased,and their plasticity was enhanced following AMF *** led to an increase in the net photosynthetic rate and antioxidant enzyme activity of *** the AMF treatment group,the Cd concentration in the rice roots was significantly higher(19.1%‒68.0%)compared with that in the control ***,the Cd concentration in the rice seeds was lower in the AMF treatment group,indicating that AMF facilitated the sequestration of Cd in rice roots and reduced Cd accumulation in the *** coefficients varied across different treatments,suggesting that AMF inoculation reduced the direct impact of soil Cd concentration on the total Cd accumulation in *** translocation of Cd was consistently associated with simultaneous growth dilution and compensatory accumulation as a result of mycorrhizal *** study quantitatively analyzed this process through path analysis and clarified the causal relationship between rice growth and Cd transfer under the influence of AMF.

On a Flexible Loan Repayment Method Depending on Borrower's Asset with an Early Termination Clause

Aiming at the problem that the asset’s fluctuation influences the borrower’s repayment ability,a loan with a new and flexible repayment method is designed,which depends on the asset value of the *** repayment method can reduce the loan default probability,but it causes the uncertainty of the pay off *** the repayment term is related to the regular repayment amount in this method,a boundary for the regular repayment amount is set up in order to avoid too long repayment *** will balance the benefit of borrowers and lenders and improve the applicability of this *** establishing a mathematical model of the residual value of the loan,this model can be transformed into an initial-boundary problem of a partial differential *** analytic solution and the expected time to pay off the loan are ***,numerical analysis are shown.

In this paper,we investigate local properties in the system of completely integral mapping *** introduce notions of injectivity,local reflexivity,exactness,nuclearity,finite-represent ability and WEP in the system of completely integral mapping *** we obtain that any finite-dimensional operator space is injective in the system of completely integral mapping *** we prove that C is the unique nuclear operator space and the unique exact operator space in this *** also show that C is the unique operator space which is finitely representable in{T_(n)}n∈Nin this *** corollaries,Kirchberg’s conjecture and QWEP conjecture in the system of completely integral mapping spaces are false.

Electronic modulation of sprout-shaped NiCoP nanoarrays by N and Ce doping for efficient overall water splitting

Bifunctional catalysts for hydrogen/oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER)are urgently needed given the bright future of water splitting hydrogen production ***,the self-supporting N and Ce dual-doped NiCoP nanoarrays(denoted N,Ce-NiCoP/NF)grown on Ni foam are successfully *** the N,Ce-NiCoP/NF simultaneously acts as the HER and OER electrodes,the voltages of 1.54 and 2.14 V are obtained for driving 10 and 500 mA·cm^(-2)with a robust durability,and demonstrate its significant potential for practical water *** to both experiments and calculations,the electronic structure of NiCoP may be significantly altered by strategically incorporating N and Ce into the lattice,which in turn optimizes the Gibbs free energy of HER/OER intermediates and speeds up the water splitting ***,the sprout-shaped morphology significantly increases the exposure of active sites and facilitates charge/mass transfer,thereby augmenting catalyst *** study offers a potentially effective approach involving the regulation of anion and cation double doping,as well as architectural engineering,for the purpose of designing and optimizing innovative electrocatalysts.

Tuning the selectivity of CO_(2)conversion to CO on partially reduced Cu_(2)O/ZnO heterogeneous interface

The development of stable and efficient low-cost electrocatalysts is conducive to the industrialization of CO_(2).The synergy effect between the heterogeneous interface of metal/oxide can promote the conversion of CO_(2).In this work,Cu_(2)O/ZnO heterostructures with partially reduced metal/oxide heterointerfaces in Zn plates(CZZ)have been synthesized for CO_(2)electroreduction in different cationic solutions(K^(+)and Cs^(+)).Physical characterizations were used to demonstrate the heterojunction of Cu_(2)O/ZnO and the heterointerfaces of metal/oxide,electrochemical tests were used to illustrate the enhancement of the selectivity of CO_(2)to CO in different cationic *** efficiency for CO with CZZ as catalyst reaches 70.9%in K+solution(current density for CO−3.77 mA cm^(−2)and stability 24 h),and the Faraday efficiency for CO is 55.2%in Cs^(+)solution(−2.47 mA cm^(−2)and 21 h).In addition,in situ techniques are used to elucidate possible reaction mechanisms for the conversion of CO_(2)to CO in K^(+)and Cs^(+)solutions.

Strength and ductility optimization of HPDC AlSi8MgCuZn2 alloys by modifying pre-aging treatment

Considering the components produced by high pressure die casting(HPDC)process usually with ultra-large sizes and complex morphologies,high temperature solid solution treatment is not a suitable method to further improve their mechanical *** this study,two-stage aging treatment with different pre-aging times was designed and employed to further improve the mechanical properties of HPDC Al8SiMgCuZn *** characteristics of precipitates were evaluated by a transmission electron microscope(TEM),and the precipitation strengthening mechanism was *** results reveal that the strengthening is mainly contributed by the precipitation ofβ″phase after two-stage aging,and the number density and size of the precipitates are significantly depended on the pre-aging *** number density of precipitates is increased with the pre-aging time prolonged from 0 h to 4 h,and then decreases with the further increase of pre-aging time from 4 h to 6 *** precipitates with the highest density and smallest size are observed after pre-aging for 4 *** pre-aged at 100℃for 4 h and then artificial aged at 200℃for 30 min,the yield strength of 207 MPa,ultimate tensile strength of 325 MPa and elongation of 7.6%are achieved.
