Objective To reconfirm the association of KPNB3 with schizophrenia in Chinese population. Methods Two single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs）, rs2588014 and rs626716 trios consisting of fathers, mothers, and affected offsprings at the KPNB3 locus, were genotyped in 304 Chinese Han family with schizophrenia. These 2 SNPs were detected by PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism （RFLP） analysis. The Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for genotypic distributions was estimated by the goodness-of-fit test. The UNPHASED program was used to perform transmission disequilibrium test （TDT）, haplotype analysis, and pair-wise measure of linkage disequilibrium （LD） between these 2 SNPs. Results The genotypic distributions of both rs2588014 and rs626716 were in the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium （P〉0.05）. The TDT revealed allelic association with rs626716 （χ^2 =9.31, P=0.0023） but not with rs2588014 （χ^2 =3.44, P=0.064）. The global P-value was 0.0099 for 100 permutations. The haplotype analysis also showed a disease association （χ^2 =25.97, df=3, P=0.0000097）. Conclusion The present study provides further evidence in support of the KPNB3 association with schizophrenia in Chinese population.

＜正＞α-Hydroxyphosphonates are compounds of significant biological and pharmaceutical interest, many methods for preparation of this kinds compounds have been reported, all these methods often suffer from one of the following drawbacks: low yields, side reactions, longer reaction times, excess or stoichiometric amounts of catalysts. Thus there is still a need for a simple, versatile and environmentally friendly procedure for synthesis of α-hydroxy-phosphonates under milder conditions.

BACKGROUND Owing to the absence of specific symptoms in early-stage gastric cancer,most patients are diagnosed at intermediate or advanced *** a result,treatment often shifts from surgery to other therapies,with chemotherapy and targeted therapies being the primary options for advanced gastric cancer treatment.A total of 116 patients with advanced gastric cancer,admitted from January 2021 to December 2023,were selected and divided into two groups of 58 each using the random number table *** control group received FOLFOX4 chemothe-rapy(oxaliplatin+calcium+folinate+5-fluorouracil)combined with intravenous *** observation group received the same treatment as the control group,supplemented by oral administration of Senqi Shiyiwei *** groups underwent treatment cycles of 3 weeks,with a minimum of two *** therapeutic efficacy,immune mechanisms,and treatment-related toxicity and side effects were compared between the *** objective remission rate in the observation group(55.17%)was higher than that of the control group(36.21%)(P0.05).CONCLUSION Adjuvant therapy with Shenqixian granules may enhance the efficacy of simudizumab combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and the immune function by increasing immune cell counts,making it a valuable option in clinical treatment.

试验以黑穗醋栗品种‘亮叶’叶片为试材,采用烘箱贮存法测定了该叶片黄酮提取物在猪油中抗氧化活性并且同一些合成的抗氧化剂进行了比较。结果表明:‘亮叶’叶片黄酮提取物具有一定抗氧化效果,且抗氧化性随添加量的增加而增强;增效剂Vc与提取物混和使用呈现一定的增效作用,而CA(柠檬酸)无增效作用;不同添加量的黑穗醋栗(亮叶)叶片提取物及合成抗氧化剂在猪油中抗氧化顺序为:0.02%BHT>0.4%黄酮提取物>0.05%黄酮提取物+0.05%VC>0.2%黄酮提取物>0.1%黄酮提取物>0.05%黄酮提取物>0.05%黄酮提取物+0.05%CA>0.02%黄酮提取物>对照。

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Mu et al,published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Gastrointestinal *** pay special attention to the immune tolerance mechanism caused by hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and the role of antiviral therapy in treating HCC related to HBV *** infection leads to systemic innate immune tolerance by directly inhibiting pattern recognition receptor recognition and antiviral signaling pathways,as well as by inhibiting the immune functions of macrophages,natural killer cells and dendritic *** addition,HBV leads to an immunosuppressive cascade by expressing inhibitory molecules to induce exhaustion of HBV-specific cluster of differentiation 8+T cells,ultimately leading to long-term viral *** loss of immune cell function caused by HBV infection ultimately leads to ***-term antiviral therapy can improve the prognosis of patients with HCC and prevent tumor recurrence and metastasis.
