Coal/Gangue Volume Estimation with Convolutional Neural Network and Separation Based on Predicted Volume and Weight

In the coal mining industry,the gangue separation phase imposes a key challenge due to the high visual similaritybetween coal and ***,separation methods have become more intelligent and efficient,using newtechnologies and applying different features for *** such method exploits the difference in substancedensity,leading to excellent coal/gangue ***,this study uses density differences to distinguishcoal from gangue by performing volume prediction on the *** training samples maintain a record of3-side images as input,volume,and weight as the ground truth for the *** prediction process relieson a Convolutional neural network(CGVP-CNN)model that receives an input of a 3-side image and then extractsthe needed features to estimate an approximation for the *** classification was comparatively performedvia ten different classifiers,namely,K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN),Linear Support Vector Machines(Linear SVM),Radial Basis Function(RBF)SVM,Gaussian Process,Decision Tree,Random Forest,Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),Adaptive Boosting(AdaBosst),Naive Bayes,and Quadratic Discriminant Analysis(QDA).After severalexperiments on testing and training data,results yield a classification accuracy of 100%,92%,95%,96%,100%,100%,100%,96%,81%,and 92%,*** test reveals the best timing with KNN,which maintained anaccuracy level of 100%.Assessing themodel generalization capability to newdata is essential to ensure the efficiencyof the model,so by applying a cross-validation experiment,the model generalization was *** useddataset was isolated based on the volume values to ensure the model generalization not only on new images of thesame volume but with a volume outside the trained ***,the predicted volume values were passed to theclassifiers group,where classification reported accuracy was found to be(100%,100%,100%,98%,88%,87%,100%,87%,97%,100%),*** obtaining a classification with hi

DeepOCL:A deep neural network for Object Constraint Language generation from unrestricted nature language

Object Constraint Language(OCL)is one kind of lightweight formal specification,which is widely used for software verification and validation in NASA and Object Management Group *** OCL provides a simple expressive syntax,it is hard for the developers to write correctly due to lacking knowledge of the mathematical foundations of the first-order logic,which is approximately half accurate at the first stage of devel-opment.A deep neural network named DeepOCL is proposed,which takes the unre-stricted natural language as inputs and automatically outputs the best-scored OCL candidates without requiring a domain conceptual model that is compulsively required in existing rule-based generation *** demonstrate the validity of our proposed approach,ablation experiments were conducted on a new sentence-aligned dataset named *** experiments show that the proposed DeepOCL can achieve state of the art for OCL statement generation,scored 74.30 on BLEU,and greatly outperformed experienced developers by 35.19%.The proposed approach is the first deep learning approach to generate the OCL expression from the natural *** can be further developed as a CASE tool for the software industry.

Parameters Optimization and Performance Evaluation of the Tuned Inerter Damper for the Seismic Protection of Adjacent Building Structures

In order to improve the seismic performance of adjacent buildings,two types of tuned inerter damper(TID)damping systems for adjacent buildings are proposed,which are composed of springs,inerter devices and dampers in serial or in *** dynamic equations of TID adjacent building damping systems were derived,and the H2 norm criterion was used to optimize and adjust them,so that the system had the optimum damping performance under white noise random *** TID frequency ratio and damping ratio as optimization parameters,the optimum analytical solutions of the displacement frequency response of the undamped structure under white noise excitation were *** results showed that compared with the classic TMD,TID could obtain a better damping effect in the adjacent *** the TIDs composed of serial or parallel,it was found that the parallel TIDs had more significant advantages in controlling the peak displacement frequency response,while the H2 norm of the displacement frequency response of the damping system under the coupling of serial TID was *** the adjacent building composed of two ten-story frame structures as an example,the displacement and energy collection time history analysis of the adjacent building coupled with the optimum design parameter TIDs were carried *** was found that TID had a better damping effect in the full-time range compared with the classic *** paper also studied the potential power of TID in adjacent buildings,which can be converted into available power resources during earthquakes.

Synthesis and Enhanced Acetone-sensing Properties of Ordered Large-pore Mesoporous Nickel Oxides with Ultrathin Crystalline Frameworks

Acetone is a tracer for monitoring air quality and a potential breath maker for diabetes. It remains a great challenge for current portable sensors to sensitively and selectively detect acetone at low-ppb (part per billion) level. Herein, we present an ordered mesoporous nickel oxide (NiO) with both large mesopores and ultrathin crystalline frameworks for the detection of low-ppb acetone. The ordered mesoporous NiO replicas with predominant large mesopores of 11 nm, high specific surface areas of 121–128 m2/g and ultrathin crystalline frameworks of 5 nm were synthesized by the nanocasting method and the crystalline properties of NiO frameworks were adjusted by changing the annealing temperature from 300℃ to 750℃, which resulted in different contents of oxygen deficient on the surface of ultrathin frameworks. The gas-sensing properties for all the NiO samples were investigated and the ordered large-pore mesoporous NiO (NiO-600) with maximum oxygen deficient obtained at 600℃ exhibited the highest response (R_(gas)/R_(air)−1=2.9) toward acetone (1 ppm, ppm: part per million), which is 3.4 and 30 times larger than those for common mesoporous NiO obtained at 300℃ and bulk NiO. Notably, a low detection limit (2 ppb), good selectivity and cycling stability were also observed in NiO-600.

Airblast evolution initiated by wangjiayan landslides in the M_(s)8.0 Wenchuan earthquake and its destructive capacity analysis

Airblasts,as one common phenomenon accompanied by rapid movements of landslides or rock/snow avalanches,commonly result in catastrophic damages and are attracting more and more scientific *** quantitatively analyze the intensity of airblast initiated by landslides,the wangjiayan landslide,occurred in the Wenchuan earthquake,is selected here with the landslide propagation and airblast evolution being studied using FLUENT by introducing the Voellmy rheological *** results reveal that:(1)For the wangjiayan landslide,its whole travelling duration is only 12 s with its maximum velocity reaching 36 m/s at t=10 s;(2)corresponding to the landslide propagation,the maximum velocity,28 m/s,of the airblast initiated by the landslide also appears at t=10 s with its maximum pressure reaching594.8 Pa,which is equivalent to violent storm;(3)under the attack of airblast,the load suffered by buildings in the airblast zone increases to 1300 Pa at t=9.4 s and sharply decreased to-7000 Pa as the rapid decrease of the velocity of the sliding mass at t=10 s,which is seriously unfavorable for buildings and might be the key reason for the destructive collapse of buildings in the airblast zone of the wangjiayan landslide.

Cognitive navigation for intelligent mobile robots: A learning-based approach with topological memory configuration

Autonomous navigation for intelligent mobile robots has gained significant attention, with a focus on enabling robots to generate reliable policies based on maintenance of spatial memory. In this paper, we propose a learning-based visual navigation pipeline that uses topological maps as memory configurations. We introduce a unique online topology construction approach that fuses odometry pose estimation and perceptual similarity estimation. This tackles the issues of topological node redundancy and incorrect edge connections, which stem from the distribution gap between the spatial and perceptual domains. Furthermore, we propose a differentiable graph extraction structure, the topology multi-factor transformer (TMFT). This structure utilizes graph neural networks to integrate global memory and incorporates a multi-factor attention mechanism to underscore elements closely related to relevant target cues for policy generation. Results from photorealistic simulations on image-goal navigation tasks highlight the superior navigation performance of our proposed pipeline compared to existing memory structures. Comprehensive validation through behavior visualization, interpretability tests, and real-world deployment further underscore the adaptability and efficacy of our method. IEEE

A Reverse Path Planning Approach for Enhanced Performance of Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Industrial Manipulators

In this paper,a novel superjunction 4H-silicon carbide(4H-SiC)trench-gate insulated-gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)featuring an integrated clamping PN diode between the P-shield and emitter(TSD-IGBT)is designed and theoretically *** heavily doping superjunction layer contributes to a low specific on-resistance,excellent electric field distribution,and quasi-unipolar drift *** anode of the clamping diode is in floating contact with the *** the on-state,the potential of the P-shield is raised to the turn-on voltage of the clamping diode,which prevents the hole extraction below the N-type carrier storage layer(NCSL).Additionally,during the turn-off transient,once the clamping diode is turned on,it also promotes an additional hole extraction ***,the potential dropped at the semiconductor near the trench-gate oxide is effectively reduced in the off-state.
