Objective:To investigate the effect of Huangqin Decoction(HQD)on nuclear factor erythroid 2 related-factor 2(Nrf2)/heme oxygenase(HO-1)signaling pathway by inducing the colitis-associated carcinogenesis(CAC)model mice with azoxymethane(AOM)/dextran sodium sulfate(DSS).Methods:The chemical components of HQD were analyzed by liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(LC-Q-TOF-MS/MS)to determine the molecular constituents of *** 48 C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into 6 groups by a random number table,including control,model(AOM/DSS),mesalazine(MS),low-,medium-,and high-dose HQD(HQD-L,HQD-M,and HQD-H)groups,8 mice in each *** for the control group,the mice in the other groups were intraperitoneally injected with AOM(10 mg/kg)and administrated with 2.5%DSS orally for 1 week every two weeks(totally 3 rounds of DSS)to construct a colitis-associated carcinogenesis mouse *** mice in the HQD-L,HQD-M and HQD-H groups were given HQD by gavage at doses of 2.925,5.85,and 11.7 g/kg,respectively;the mice in the MS group was given a suspension of MS at a dose of 0.043 g/kg(totally 11 weeks).The serum levels of malondialdehyde(MDA)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** mRNA and protein expression levels of Nrf2,HO-1,and inhibitory KELCH like ECH-related protein 1(Keap1)in colon tissue were detected by quantitative real-time PCR,immunohistochemistry,and Westem blot,***:LC-Q-TOF-MS/MS analysis revealed that the chemical constituents of HQD include baicalin,paeoniflorin,and glycyrrhizic *** to the control group,significantly higher MDA levels and lower SOD levels were observed in the model group(P<0.05),whereas the expressions of Nrf2 and HO-1 were significantly decreased,and the expression of Keap1 increased(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,serum MDA level was decreased and SOD level was increased in the HQD-M,HQD-H and MS groups(P<0.05).Higher expressions of

BACKGROUND Direct cardiac surgery often necessitates intensive post-operative care,and the intensive care unit(ICU)activity scale represents a crucial metric in assessing and guiding early rehabilitation efforts to enhance patient *** To clarify the clinical application value of the ICU activity scale in the early recovery of patients after cardiac *** One hundred and twenty patients who underwent cardiac surgery between September 2020 and October 2021 were selected and divided into two groups using the random number table *** observation group was rated using the ICU activity scale and the corresponding graded rehabilitation interventions were conducted based on the ICU activity *** control group was assessed in accordance with the routine rehabilitation activities,and the postoperative rehabilitation indexes of the patients in both groups were compared(time of tracheal intubation,time of ICU admission,occurrence of complications,and activity scores before ICU transfer).The two groups were compared according to postoperative rehabilitation indicators(time of tracheal intubation,length of ICU stay,and occurrence of complications)and activity scores before ICU *** In the observation group,tracheal intubation time lasted for 18.30±3.28 h and ICU admission time was 4.04±0.83 d,which were significantly shorter than the control group(t-values:2.97 and 2.038,respectively,Plications and adverse events compared to the control group(Plications and adverse events than the control group(30.0%),and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Additionally,the activity score was significantly higher in the observation(26.89±0.97)compared to the control groups(22.63±1.12 points)(t-value;-17.83,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Implementation of early goal-directed activities in patients who underwent c

In a tritrophic context of plant-insect-entomopathogen,plants play important roles in modulating the interaction of insects and their pathogenic ***,the influence of plants on the transmission of insect viruses has been mainly studied on baculoviruses and some RNA viruses,whereas the impact of plants on other insect viruses is largely ***,we identified a new densovirus infecting the green peach aphid Myzus persicae and tested whether and how host plants influence the transmission of the aphid *** complete single-stranded DNA genome of the virus,*** densovirus 2,is 5727 nt and contains inverted terminal *** and phylogenetic analysis indicated that the virus was distinct from other a few identified aphid *** virus abundance was detected highly in the intestinal tract of aphids,compared with the lower level of it in other tissues including head,embryo,and *** and pepper plants had no obvious effect on the vertical transmission and saliva-mediated horizontal transmission of the ***,the honeydew-mediated horizontal transmission among aphids highly depended on host plants(65%on cabbages versus 17%on peppers).Although the virus concentration in the honeydew produced by aphids between 2 plants was similar,the honeydew production of the infected aphids reared on peppers was dramatically *** together,our results provide evidence that plants influence the horizontal transmission of a new densovirus in an aphid population by modulating honeydew secretion of aphids,suggesting plants may manipulate the spread of an aphid-pathogenic densovirus in nature.

Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR) is a key process for producing energy efficient and environment friendly ammonia. Boron-doped two-dimensional materials are highly promising as NRR ***, the interaction between doped boron and matrix materials on NRR catalytic performance is still unclear,which is limiting the development of catalysts containing boron for NRR. Here, NRR on different boron-doped twodimensional(2D) materials was explored by first principle theory. It is found that adsorption energy of intermediate*NNH(E*NNH) can be used as a descriptor to characterize the catalytic activity for NRR. Boron-adsorbed black phosphorus(B-BP) is demonstrated showing excellent NRR catalytic activity and suppressing hydrogen evolution reaction. It is disclosed that the excellent catalytic performance of boron-doped structures comes from a proper quantitatively electron transfer(0.8e) between nitrogen in*NNH and the active site boron atom. This work not only established a descriptor for NRR catalytic activity on B-doped 2D materials, but also screened out a potential NRR catalyst. More importantly, the intrinsic reason and mechanism of high catalytic activity of boron-doped structures were proposed. This work provides a design principle for exploring high-performance NRR electrocatalysts containing boron.
