Dear Editor,Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a common acute pancreatic disease of variable severity and outcomes(Mederos et al.,2021).According to systemic and local complications,patients can be classified into severe,moderately severe,and mild AP(Banks et al.,2013..About 20%of AP patients develop severe acute pancreatitis(SAP,with persistent organ failures)of whom 20%–50%die.

Large-size organic halide passivation has been considered an efficient approach to enhance the perovskite solar cell(PSC)efficiency and ***,a facile posttreatment strategy was demonstrated,wherein trifluoromethyl-phenethylamine hydrobromide(CF_(3.-PEABr)is firstly used to passivate the perovskite film *** CF_(3.-PEABr surface posttreatment could coordinate with halide dangling bonds that exist at the perovskite crystal ***,the surface treatment with CF_(3.-PEABr could efficiently passivate the defects in the perovskite film and suppress the nonradiative carrier *** a result,a high efficiency of 21.3.is obtained,and an increment of 80 mV in V_(oc)(a large V_(oc)of 1.15 V,with a 0.42 V voltage deficit)occurs,compared to the control *** relieve the hydrophobic nature properties of the-CF_(3.functional group and the dewetting problem of PCBM layer deposition,a surfactant Triton X-100 is used to modify the PCBM ***,the devices with CF_(3.-PEABr posttreatment exhibit better operational,thermal(85℃),and long storage stabilities without any encapsulation.

In recent years,volatile fatty acid(VFA)production through anaerobic fermentation of sewage sludge,instead of methane production,has been regarded as a high-value and promising roadmap for sludge stabilization and resource *** review first presents the effects of some essential factors that influence VFA production and *** the second part,we present an extensive analysis of conventional pretreatment and co-fermentation strategies ultimately addressed to improving VFA production and ***,the effectiveness of these approaches is summarized in terms of sludge degradation,hydrolysis rate,and VFA production and *** to published studies,it is concluded that some pretreatments such as alkaline and thermal pretreatment are the most effective ways to enhance VFA production from sewage *** possible reasons for the improvement of VFA production by different methods are also ***,this review also highlights several current technical challenges and opportunities in VFA production with spectrum control,and further related research is proposed.

High-molecular-weight glutenin subunits(HMW-GSs) are the most critical grain storage proteins that determine the unique processing qualities of wheat. Although it is a part of the superior HMW-GS pair(Dx5+Dy10), the contribution of the Dy10 subunit to wheat processing quality remains unclear. In this study, we elucidated the effect of Dy10 on wheat processing quality by generating and analyzing a deletion mutant(with the Dy10-null allele), and by elucidating the changes to wheat flour following the incorporation of purified Dy10. The Dy10-null allele was transcribed normally,but the Dy10 subunit was lacking. These findings implied that the Dy10-null allele reduced the glutenin:gliadin ratio and negatively affected dough strength(i.e., Zeleny sedimentation value, gluten index, and dough development and stability times) and the bread-making quality;however, it positively affected the biscuit-making quality. The incorporation of various amounts of purified Dy10 into wheat flour had a detrimental effect on biscuit-making quality. The results of this study demonstrate that the Dy10 subunit is essential for maintaining wheat dough strength. Furthermore, the Dy10-null allele may be exploited by soft wheat breeding programs.

Ultrafiltration(UF)has been increasingly implemented in drinking water treatment plants;however,algae and their secretions can cause severe membrane fouling and pose great challenges to UF in *** this study,a simple and practical chemically enhanced backwashing(CEB)process was developed to address such issues using various cleaning reagents,including sodium hypochlorite(NaClO),sodium chloride(NaCl),sodium hydroxide(NaOH),sodium citrate,and their *** results indicate that the type of chemical played a fundamental role in alleviating the hydraulically irreversible membrane fouling(HIMF),with NaClO as the best-performing reagent,followed by ***,a CEB process using a combination of NaClO with NaCl,NaOH,or sodium citrate delivered little improvement in the alleviation of membrane fouling compared with NaClO *** optimized dosage and dosing frequency of NaClO were 10 mg·L^(-1) two times per ***-term pilot-scale and full-scale experiments further verified the feasibility of the CEB process in relieving algae-derived membrane *** with the conventional hydraulic backwashing without chemical involvement,the CEB process can effectively remove the organic foulants including biopolymers,humic substances,and proteinlike substances by means of oxidization,thereby weakening the cohesive forces between the organic foulants and the membrane ***,the CEB process can efficiently alleviate the algae-related membrane fouling with lower chemical consumption,and is proposed as an alternative to control membrane fouling in treating the algae-containing surface water.

建立一种可同时测定僵蚕和土鳖虫药材中多种真菌毒素检测方法,为该类药材的监测和质量控制提供技术支撑。以易霉变的僵蚕、土鳖虫为研究对象,采用UPLC-MS/MS技术进行检测,并对色谱、质谱条件,供试品制备方法和QuEChERS净化参数进行优化,在多反应监测模式(MRM)下扫描,基质标准曲线法定量分析。所检14种真菌毒素在0.04~500 ng·mL^(-1)线性关系良好,相关系数(r)≥0.99,检出限(LOD,S/N=3.和定量限(LOQ,S/N=10)分别为0.01~0.648、0.022~1.43.μg·kg^(-1);在高、中、低3.添加水平下,所测毒素平均回收率为70.99%~124.7%,相对标准偏差(RSD)为0.44%~8.5%,均符合2020年版《中国药典》的规定。将方法应用于20批次僵蚕、土鳖虫药材中真菌毒素的检测,共检测出脱氧雪腐镰刀菌烯醇(DON)、黄曲霉毒素B_(1)(AFB_(1))、杂色曲霉素(ST)、黄曲霉毒素G_(1)(AFG_(1))、赭曲霉毒素A(OTA)5种毒素。其中,10批僵蚕样本中,有OTA、AFB_(1)、AFG_(1)3.毒素被检出,AFs存在10.0%的超标;10份土鳖虫样本中检出AFB_(1)、AFG_(1)、ST、DON 4种毒素,AFB_(1)、AFs均存在10.0%的超标,存在一定的风险,应重点关注。该研究成功建立了一种适用于僵蚕和土鳖虫等动物类中药材中多种真菌毒素的检测方法,该方法适用范围广,解决了现有真菌毒素检测方法适用性窄的问题,可为其他易霉变中药材真菌毒素检测方法的开发提供参考。

Transcriptomic analysis in Anemone flaccida rhizomes reveals ancillary pathway for triterpene saponins biosynthesis and differential responsiveness to phytohormones

Anemone flaccida Fr. Schmidt is a perennial medicinal herb that contains pentacyclic triterpenoid saponins as the major bioactive constituents. In china, the rhizomes are used as treatments for a variety of ailments including arthritis. However, yields of the saponins are low, and little is known about the plant's genetic background or phytohormonal responsiveness. Using one-quarter of the 454 pyrosequencing information from the Roche GS FLX Titanium platform, we performed a transcriptomic analysis to identify 157 genes putatively encoding 26 enzymes involved in the synthesis of the bioactive compounds. It was revealed that there are two biosynthetic pathways of triterpene saponins in A. flaccida. One pathway depends on β-amyrin synthase and is similar to that found in other plants. The second, subsidiary("backburner") pathway is catalyzed by camelliol C synthase and yields β-amyrin as minor byproduct. Both pathways used cytochrome P450-dependent monooxygenases(CYPs) and family 1 uridine diphosphate glycosyltransferases(UGTs) to modify the triterpenoid backbone. The expression of CYPs and UGTs were quite different in roots treated with the phytohormones methyl jasmonate, salicylic acid and indole-3.acetic acid. This study provides the first large-scale transcriptional dataset for the biosynthetic pathways of triterpene saponins and their phytohormonal responsiveness in the genus Anemone.

As a traditional Chinese medicine,the root of Astragalus membranaceus ***(AMM) or ***(AM) has been widely used in china and other Asian countries for thousands of *** now,the flavonoids,phenolic acids and saponins are considered as the main active components contributing to their therapeutic effect in these *** order to clarify the distribution and contents of these compounds in different organs of these plants,a rapid and sensitive analytical method for simultaneous determination of 25 active compounds including seven types(***,isoflavane,isoflavones,***,phenolic acid and saponins) within 10 min was established using ultra-pressure liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS).Then,the established method was fully validated and successfully applied to the determination of the contents of these analytes in different parts(root,rhizome,stem,leaf and flower) of AMM and *** results indicated that the contents of the same type of compounds in two different species plants were significantly ***,the obvious differences were also found for the distribution and contents of different type of compounds in five organs of the same *** present study could provide necessary information for the rational development and utilization of AMM and AM resource.

The Cenozoic uplift of Qilian Mountains is critical to comprehend the uplift and extension of the Tibet Plateau as well as the formation of the first and second steps in china's topography. This study summarized dynamic stratigraphic realm comprehensively on the basis of stratigraphic correlation of different Cenozoic sedimentary basin regions of the Qilian Mountains and adjacent mountains. This facilitated the re-creation of the tectonic-sedimentary evolutionary process of the Qilian Mountains and their surrounding areas. The results indicate that during the Early Paleogene(Paleocene-Eocene), the Qilian Mountains were part of an uplift realm. During the Oligocene, Guide-Xining-Lanzhou-Linxia sag basin at the northern margin of the West Qinling Mountains came into being and was subjected to sedimentation. The Suli Basin located between the North and South Qilian paleo-uplifts began to form and undergo sedimentation. Intracontinental orogenic extrusion and basin detachment occurred at the Qilian Mountains during the Miocene, which caused successive uplifts of various mountains, including the Laji, South Qinghai,Jishi, Liupan, and South Shule Mountains. Until Pliocene, Qilian Mountains uplifted continuously and resulted in the shrink,extinction and being eroded of the basins, and aeolian red clay started to accumulate.
