Time based maintenance(TBM)and condition based maintenance(CBM)are widely applied in many large wind farms to optimize the maintenance issues of wind turbine gearboxes,however,these maintenance strategies do not take into account environmental benefits during full life cycle such as carbon emissions ***,this article proposes a carbon emissions computing model for preventive maintenance activities of wind turbine gearboxes to solve the *** on the change of the gearbox state during operation and the influence of external random factors on the gearbox state,a stochastic differential equation model(SDE)and corresponding carbon emission model are established,wherein SDE is applied to model the evolution of the device state,whereas carbon emission is used to implement carbon emissions *** simulation results indicate that the proposed preventive maintenance cannot ensure reliable operation of wind turbine gearboxes but reduce carbon emissions during their *** with TBM,CBM minimizes unit carbon emissions without influencing reliable operation,making it an effective maintenance method.

THE concentrations of iodine in humic acid-high underground water are not low, but the IDD disease isprevailing in some areas and no such disease is reported in some other areas. In order to explore the causes of disease and the factors affecting the concentrations of I in underground water, the author collected51 water samples from the Amengbayingmaodao Farm, Langshan Town, Linghe City of Bameng, ShibaTown of Wuyuan County, Qingshan Town of Wulatiehou Prefecture, and Zhijiliang Village in the suburbsof Hohhot City in the central and western part of Inner Mongolia for investigation. The analytical resultsshow that the water samples were relatively alkaline （pH=7.91 on average）. The average concentrationsof cations vary in the order of Na+>Ca2.> Mg2.>K+ while those of anions follow the decreasing

Calcium oscillations are induced by different ***-dependent protein kinases(CDPKs/CPKs)are one major group of the plant calcium decoders that are involved in various processes including drought *** CPKs are ***,we identified ZmCPK2.as a negative regulator of drought resistance by screening an overexpression transgenic maize *** found that ZmCPK2.does not bind calcium,and its activity is mainly inhibited during short term abscisic acid(ABA)treatment,and dynamically changed in prolonged ***,ZmCPK2.interacts with and is inhibited by calcium-dependent ZmCPK17,a positive regulator of drought resistance,which is activated by ***17 could prevent the nuclear localization of ZmCPK2.through phosphorylation of ***2.interacts with and phosphorylates and activates ZmYAB15,a negative transcriptional factor for drought *** results suggest that drought stress-induced Ca^(2.)can be decoded directly by ZmCPK17 that inhibits ZmCPK2.thereby promoting plant adaptation to water deficit.

Joint observations of the large-scale ULF wave activity from space to ground associated with the solar wind dynamic pressure enhancement

This study reports the rare ultralow-frequency(ULF) wave activity associated with the solar wind dynamic pressure enhancement that was successively observed by the GOES-17(Geostationary Operational environmental Satellite) in the magnetosphere, the CSES(china Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite) in the ionosphere, and the THEMIS ground-based observatories(GBO) GAKO and EAGL in the Earth's polar region during the main phase of an intense storm on 4 November 2.2.. Along with the enhanced-pressure solar wind moving tailward, the geomagnetic field structure experienced a large-scale change. From dawn/dusk sides to midnight, the GAKO, EAGL, and GOES-17 sequentially observed the ULF waves in a frequency range of0.04–0.36 Hz at L shells of ~5.07, 6.2., and 5.67, respectively. CSES also observed the ULF wave event with the same frequency ranges at wide L-shells of 2.52.6.2. in the nightside ionosphere. The analysis results show that the ULF waves at ionospheric altitude were mixed toroidal-poloidal mode waves. Comparing the ULF waves observed in different regions, we infer that the nightside ULF waves were directly or indirectly excited by the solar wind dynamic pressure increase: in the area of L-shells~2.52.6.2., the magnetic field line resonances(FLRs) driven by the solar wind dynamic pressure increase is an essential excitation source;on the other hand, around L~3.2., the ULF waves can also be excited by the outward expansion of the plasmapause owing to the decrease of the magnetospheric convection, and in the region of L-shells ~5.19–6.2., the ULF waves are also likely excited by the ion cyclotron instabilities driven by the solar wind dynamic pressure increase.

environmental change signals in geological or biological records are commonly reflected on their reflecting or transmitting images. These environmental signals can be extracted through digital image analysis. The analysis principle involves section line selection, color value reading and calculating environmental proxy index along the section lines, layer identification, auto-chronology and investigation of structure evolution of growth bands. On detailed illustrations of the image technique, this note provides image analyzing procedures of coral, tree-ring and stalagmite records. The environmental implications of the proxy index from image analysis are accordingly given through application demonstration of the image technique.

Objective To investigate the potential mechanisms of cell death after the treatment with ceramide. Methods MTT assay, DNA ladder, reporter assay, FACS and Western blot assay were employed to investigate the potential mechanisms of cell death after the treatment with C2.ceramide. Results A short-time treatment with C2.ceramide induced cell death, which was associated with p38 MAP kinase activation, but had no links with typical caspase activation or PARP degradation. Rather than caspase inhibitor, Inhibitor of p38 MAP kinase blocked cell death induced by a short-time treatment with ceramide （〈12.h）. However, inhibition of p38 MAP kinase could not block cell death induced by a prolonged treatment with ceramide （〉12.h）. Moreover, incubation of cells with ceramide for a long time （〉12.h） increased subG1, but reduced S phase accompanied by caspase-dependent and caspase-independent changes including NFr, B activation. Conclusion Ceramide-induced cell apoptosis involves both caspase-dependent and -independent signaling pathway. Caspase-independent cell death occurring in a relatively early stage, which is mediated via p38 MAP kinase, can progress into a stage involving both caspase-dependent and -independent mechanisms accompanied by cell signaling of MAPKs and NFκB.

Based on continuous three-year measurements (from 2.04 to 2.07) of eddy covariance and related environmental factors, environmental controls on variation in soil respiration (Rs) during non-growing season were explored in a maize agroecosystem in Northeast{2.. Our results indicated that during non-growing seasons, daily Rs was 1.08-4.08 g CO2.m-2.d-1, and the lowest occurred in late November. The average Rs of non-growing season was 456.06 ± 2..01 g CO2.m-2. accounting for 11% of the gross primary production (GPP) of the growing season. Additionally, at monthly scale, the lowest value of Rs appeared in January or February. From the beginning to the end of non-growing season, daily Rs tended to decrease first, and then increase to the highest. There was a significant quadratic curve relationship between Rs and soil temperature at 10 cm depth when soil temperature was more than 0°C (P2.7%-11.8%. Rs in non-growing season can account for 2..4% of Rs in growing season, indicating that it plays a critical role in assessing the carbon budget in maize agroecosystem, Northeast{2..

Chemical cleaning and disinfection are crucial steps for eliminating infection in root canal treatment. However, irrigant selection or irrigation procedures are far from clear.
