Fingerlings of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus were exposed to 1.68, 3.36, and 5.04 mg/L cadmium(as CdCl2), which represent 10%, 20%, and 30% of their previously determined 96-h LC5 0. After exposure for 20 days, sections of the liver and intestine of treated fish were examined histologically. Histopathological changes varied from slight to severe structural modification, depending on the exposure concentration. The hepatic tissues of fish exposed to 10% LC 50 showed markedly increased vacuolation of the hepatocytes and coarse granulation of their cytoplasm. Abundant erythrocytic infiltration among the hepatocytes was observed in fish exposed to 20% LC5 0. In the intestinal tissues of fish exposed to all doses, goblet cells proliferated and were greatly increased in size, the longitudinal muscularis mucosa was disturbed and, in the crypts of the sub-mucosal layer, apoptosis increased, indicated by large numbers of degenerated nuclei. Large numbers of inflammatory cells and dilated blood vessels were observed in the intestine of the group treated with 30% LC5 0.

The effects of rearing temperature on white muscle and hepatic phosphofructokinase （PFK）, pyruvate kinase （PK）, lactate dehydrogenase （LDH）, aspartate aminotransferase （AST） and alanine aminotransferase （ALT） were examined in fingerlings of blue tilapia, Oreochromis aureus. The experiment was conducted for 14 weeks at temperatures of 18, 22, 26, 30, and 34℃. The activity of the glycolytic enzymes PFK, PK, and LDH in white muscle increased significantly with increase in water temperature. A reverse trend was observed for these enzymes in the liver, except for LDH, which behaved in the same manner as in white muscle. Cytosolic AST and ALT activity increased in both white muscle and liver in response to warm thermal acclimatization, while a reduction in mitochondrial AST and ALT activity was noticed at high temperatures in comparison with those at a lower temperature.

The Sultanate of Oman has been dealing with a severe renewable energy issue for the past few decades,and the government has struggled to find a *** addition,Oman’s strategy for converting power generation to sources of renewable energy includes a goal of 60 percent of national energy demands being met by renewables by 2040,including solar and wind ***,the use of small-scale energy from wind devices has been on the rise in recent *** upward trend is attributed to advancements in wind turbine technology,which have lowered the cost of energy from *** calculate the internal and external factors that affect the small-scale energy of wind technologies,the study used a fuzzy analytical hierarchy process technique for order of preference by similarity to an ideal *** a result,in the decision model,four criteria,seventeen sub-criteria,and three resources of renewable energy were calculated as options from the viewpoint of the Sultanate of *** research is based on an examination of statistics on energy produced by wind turbines at various locations in the Sultanate of ***,six distinct miniature wind turbines were investigated for four different *** outcomes of this study indicate that the tiny wind turbine has a lot of potential in the Sultanate of Oman for applications such as homes,schools,college campuses,irrigation,greenhouses,communities,and small *** government should also use renewable energy resources to help with the renewable energy issue and make sure that the country has enough renewable energy for its long-term growth.

In this report, praseodymium hydroxide Pr(OH)_3 nanowires with different aspect ratios (length to diameter ratios) were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal approach. The variations in alkali concentration during synthesis are found to form different aspect ratios of nanowires. The X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy analysis demonstrate the absence of any impurity phases in as-prepared ***, photocatalytic activities of as-prepared nano wires were evaluated by the degradation of methyl orange (MO). Our findings reveal that the nanowires with larger aspect ratios have higher photocatalytic efficiency than the smaller aspect ratio samples. X-ray photospectroscopy investigations reveal that the samples with higher aspect ratio are found to exhibit more oxygen vacancies as compared to lower aspect ratio samples. The enhanced photocatalytic activities can be attributed to the presence of higher percentage of active crystal facet (100), higher concentration of defects densities and narrower band gap. Thus, Pr(OH)_3 nanowires can be considered as a potential candidate for the application of wastewater treatment and related technologies.

We study one-and two-soliton solutions for the Cahn–Allen(CA) equation and the Brethorton equation. The CA equation has broad spectrum of applications especially in anti-phase boundary motion and it is used in phase-field *** the Brethorton equation is a model for dispersive wave systems, it is used to find the resonant nonlinear interaction among three linear modes. We use the Hirota bilinear method to obtain one-and two-soliton solutions to the CA equation and the Brethorton equation.

In this paper, we report an effective, simple, and cost-effective strategy of electrochemical deposition to prepare hausmannite Mn_3O_4 thin films for the applications of supercapacitors. Various precursor concentrations and deposition durations were manipulated to tailor the surface morphologies of Mn_3O_4 nanostructures and to optimize their electrochemical performances. The Mn_3O_4 samples prepared at 0.05 M Mn(NO3)2solution for 30 min delivered a large gravimetric specific capacitance of 210 F g-1at a current density of 0.5 A g-1, and a good rate capability over other samples. This superior electrochemical performance may be attributed to the improved electrode conductivity with increased accessible area for electrolytes ions. Furthermore, a nanocomposite film based on Mn_3O_4/carbon foam was fabricated by utilizing the developed optimized conditions. The Mn_3O_4/carbon foam films exhibit an excellent specific capacitance with negligible degradation in retaining specific capacitance values up to 4000 cycles. These findings could further broaden the applications of hausmannite Mn_3O_4 in electrochemical energy storage electrodes.

In recent years,reinforcement learning(RL)has emerged as a solution for model-free dynamic programming problem that cannot be effectively solved by traditional optimization *** has gradually been applied in the fields such as economic dispatch of power systems due to its strong selflearning and self-optimizing ***,existing economic scheduling methods based on RL ignore security risks that the agent may bring during exploration,which poses a risk of issuing instructions that threaten the safe operation of power ***,we propose an improved proximal policy optimization algorithm for sequential security-constrained optimal power flow(SCOPF)based on expert knowledge and safety layer to determine active power dispatch strategy,voltage optimization scheme of the units,and charging/discharging dispatch of energy storage *** expert experience is introduced to improve the ability to enforce constraints such as power balance in training process while guiding agent to effectively improve the utilization rate of renewable ***,to avoid line overload,we add a safety layer at the end of the policy network by introducing transmission constraints to avoid dangerous actions and tackle sequential SCOPF *** results on an improved IEEE 118-bus system verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Nowadays,high-resolution images pose several challenges in the context of image *** encryption of huge images’file sizes requires high computational *** encryption techniques like,Data Encryption Standard(DES),and Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)are not only inefficient,but also less *** to characteristics of chaos theory,such as periodicity,sensitivity to initial conditions and control parameters,and ***,the characteristics of deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA),such as vast parallelism and large storage capacity,make it a promising *** paper presents an efficient color image encryption method utilizing DNA encoding with two types of hyper-chaotic *** proposed encryption method comprises three *** first step initializes the conditions for generating Lorenz and Rossler hyper-chaotic maps using a plain image Secure Hash Algorithm(SHA-256/384).The second step performs a confusion procedure by scrambling the three components of the image(red,green,and blue)using Lorenz hyper-chaotic ***,the third step combines three approaches to encrypt the scrambled components for diffusion:DNA encoding/decoding,addition operation between components,and XORing with Rossler hyper-chaotic *** simulation results indicate that the suggested encryption algorithm satisfies the requirements of *** entropy value of confusion and diffusion is 7.997,the key space is 2200,and the correlation coefficient is nearly *** efficacy of the proposed method has been verified through numerous evaluations,and the results show its resistance and effectiveness against several attacks,like statistical and brute-force ***,the devised algorithm vanquishes other relevant color image encryption algorithms.
