Nuclear factor kappa-beta(NF-κB)is a critical transcription factor responsible for modulating the expression of many genes involved in the pathogenesis ***4 is a negative regulator ofNF-κB in the process of cell signaling *** functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP),-94ins/delATTG in NFKB 1gene and the rs237025 A>G in SUMO4 *** been found to be the risk of some autoimmune *** their correlation with the susceptibility of psoriasis vulgaris,a newly-defined autoimmune-related disease,remained unknown *** we genotyped the two polymorphisms in 5 1 9 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 541 healthy *** found that the ins/ins genotype frequency in NFKB 1 were significant differences among the psoriasis cases and the controls(x2test P=0.01 8).By stratified analysis,the frequency of the ins/ins genotype Was statistically higher among the patients of onset age≤40,PASI>20,male patients and sporadic patients than among *** no statistically significant association has been found between the rs237025A>G polymorphism in SUMO4 gene and the susceptibility ofpsoriasis vulgaris even stratified analysis by the age of onset,family history,PASI score and gender.

Sulfoxonium ylides as carbene precursors couple smoothly with thioureas in the presence of 5 mol% of rhodium(Ⅱ) acetate dimmer via carbenoid insertion to afford the corresponding 2-aminothiazoles with high chemoselectivity,providing a facile and efficient approach to access a variety of 2-aminothiazole derivatives with good functional groups tolerance.

Although vast efforts have been given to the phase boundary engineering(PBE) of potassium sodium niobate(KNN) ceramics by using chemical dopants,the inherent issues like the K/Na ratio were not paid enough attention,hindering the further understanding of physical ***,we investigated the effect of the K/Na ratio on PBE-featured KNN-based *** K/Na ratio significantly influences the local A-site environment and thereby alters mesoscopic ferroelectric domains and macroscopic structure and performance.A much higher Na^(+)content results in the local stress heterogeneity,while a much higher K^(+)content brings in the local polar *** to the appropriate coupling between the local stress and the polar heterogeneity,piezoelectric properties and the temperature stability of electrostrain are optimized on the Na-rich ***,beyond seeking appropriate chemical dopants,elaborately tailoring the K/Na ratio is also important for further improving the piezoelectric properties of PBE-featured KNN-based ceramics.

Lessening energy-related carbon emissions has become a crucial measure to achieve Chinese carbon *** study is the first to construct a Difference in Carbon pressures-adjusted Human Development Index(DCHDI)model for the purpose of exploring the coupling effect between carbon emissions and human development variety from 2000 to 2019 in Chinese *** demonstrate the following.(1)The total energy-related carbon footprint of 30 provinces in China reached 10.2 billion tons in 2019,with an average annual growth rate of 6.93% over the past two decades;and the provinces with the highest carbon emissions per capita are InnerMongolia,Ningxia,and Shanxi.(2)At the provincial level,we observed that the Human Development Index(HDI),which includes life expectancy,education,and income,has been rising,while Beijing,Shanghai,and Tianjin entered the super-high HDI level before 2008.(3)The entire coupling effect of 30 Chinese provinces has been broadly fortified in the last 20 years,but the growth rate of DCHDI values in 2011-2019 has slowed down compared with that in 2000-2010;the clustering phenomenon demonstrated that this discovery is associated with historical peaks in total carbon emissions.(4)The co-ordination degree of carbon emissions per capita and HDI was verified,and 96% of the data points were found in the range of super high coupling coordination ***,this study provides the government with worthwhile guidance for decision-making and carbon reduction strategies for other countries struggling to advance human sustainable development.

Cross-laminated bamboo(CLB)have a high strength to weight ratio and stable bidirectional mechanical *** by the investigation on cross-laminated timber(CLT)rocking walls,CLB rocking walls with conventional friction dampers(CFDs)are studied in this *** investigate the mechanical properties of the CLB rocking wall,seven tests are conducted under a cyclic loading scheme,and different test parameters,including the existence of the CFDs,the moment ratio,and the loading times,are *** test results show a bilinear behavior of the CLB rocking *** small residual displacements of the CLB rocking wall demonstrate an idealized self-centering *** cumulative energy dissipation curves indicate that the energy dissipation capacity of the CLB rocking wall can be greatly improved with *** limit states of the CLB rocking wall under a lateral force are proposed based on the strains,stress,and damage level of the CLB material and posttensioned *** addition,an analytical model of the CLB rocking wall is developed based on the proposed limit states of the CLB rocking wall to evaluate the hysteretic response of the CLB rocking wall,and the model is validated by the experimental *** comparison results show the potential value of the analytical model for engineering design.

Cathode infiltration with enhanced catalytic activity and durability for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells

To lower the operation temperature and increase the durability of solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs), increasing attentions have been paid on developing cathode materials with good oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity at intermediate-temperature(IT, 500-750 ℃) range. However, most cathode materials exhibit poor catalytic activity, or they thermally mismatch with SOFC electrolytes and undergo severe degeneration. Infiltrating catalysts on existing backbone materials has been proved to be an efficient method to construct highly active and durable cathodes. In this mini-review, the advantages of infiltration-based cathode compared with new material-based cathodes are summarized. The merits and drawbacks of different backbones are illustrated. Different types of catalysts for infiltration are depicted in detail. Suggestions on the material/structure optimization of the infiltrated cathodes of IT-SOFC are provided.

Although the antimony(Sb) has been widely used to modify potassium sodium niobate(KNN) ceramics for tailoring the phase structure and performance, the role of Sb still remains insufficiently understood,consequently hindering the understanding of the physical origin of high-performance KNN-based ceramics. Here, we combine the experiments and first-principles calculations to deeply reveal the effects of Sb on KNN ceramics. Our results reveal a re-entrant-like relaxation behavior near the rhombohedralorthorhombic(R-O) phase transition at the low content of Sb, which transforms into a canonical one at higher content of Sb. First-principles calculations show a significantly decreased difference in the bond length of six B-O bonds of Nb O6 octahedral in Sb-modified KNN ceramics compared to pristine KNN ceramics, responsible for the low-temperature re-entrant-like dielectric relaxation. Furthermore, the addition of Sb would soften the B-O repulsion and gradually break the long-range ferroelectric ordering,resulting in the occurrence of nanoscale domains and enhanced local heterogeneity. Finally, we find that the optimized piezoelectric properties are the trade-off between the long-range ferroelectric ordering and the local heterogeneity. Therefore, this work not only deeply reveals the effects of Sb on KNN ceramics from multi-scale perspectives but also helps the future composition design for achieving high piezoelectricity.
