Background Pediatric antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis(AAV)is a life-threatening systemic vasculitis featured by liability to renal ***,there are few studies on the risk factors and predictive models for renal outcomes of AAV in *** Data from 179 AAV children in multiple centers between January 2012 and March 2020 were collected *** risk factors and predictive model of end-stage renal disease(ESRD)in AAV were *** Renal involvement was the most typical manifestation(95.5%),and the crescent was the predominant pathological lesion(84.9%).The estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)was evaluated in 114 patients,of whom 59.6%developed ESRD,and the median time to ESRD was 3.20 *** eGFR[P=0.006,odds ratio(OR)=0.955,95%confidence interval(CI)=0.924–0.987]and the percentages of global glomerulosclerosis(pGGS;P=0.018,OR=1.060,95%CI=1.010–1.112)were independent risk factors for ESRD of renal *** on the pGGS and eGFR at renal biopsy,we developed three risk grades of ESRD and one predictive *** Kaplan‒Meier curve indicated that renal outcomes were significantly different in different risk grades(P<0.001).Compared with serum creatinine at baseline,the predictive model had higher accuracy(0.86 versus 0.58,P<0.001)and a lower coefficient of variation(0.07 versus 0.92)in external *** Renal involvement is the most common manifestation of pediatric AAV in China,of which more than half deteriorates into *** predictive model based on eGFR at renal biopsy and the pGGS may be stable and accurate in speculating the risk of ESRD in AAV children.

Simultaneous Multi-vehicle Detection and Tracking Framework with Pavement Constraints Based on Machine Learning and Particle Filter Algorithm

Due to the large variations of environment with ever-changing background and vehicles with different shapes, colors and appearances, to implement a real-time on-board vehicle recognition system with high adaptability, efficiency and robustness in complicated environments, remains challenging. This paper introduces a simultaneous detection and tracking framework for robust on-board vehicle recognition based on monocular vision technology. The framework utilizes a novel layered machine learning and particle filter to build a multi-vehicle detection and tracking system. In the vehicle detection stage, a layered machine learning method is presented, which combines coarse-search and fine-search to obtain the target using the AdaBoost-based training algorithm. The pavement segmentation method based on characteristic similarity is proposed to estimate the most likely pavement area. Efficiency and accuracy are enhanced by restricting vehicle detection within the downsized area of pavement. In vehicle tracking stage, a multi-objective tracking algorithm based on target state management and particle filter is proposed. The proposed system is evaluated by roadway video captured in a variety of traffics, illumination, and weather conditions. The evaluating results show that, under conditions of proper illumination and clear vehicle appearance, the proposed system achieves 91.2% detection rate and 2.6% false detection rate. Experiments compared to typical algorithms show that, the presented algorithm reduces the false detection rate nearly by half at the cost of decreasing 2.7%–8.6% detection rate. This paper proposes a multi-vehicle detection and tracking system, which is promising for implementation in an on-board vehicle recognition system with high precision, strong robustness and low computational cost.

The experiments on astronaut motions are difficult to conduct due to the limitation and high cost of constructing or simulating the microgravity environment of space. Therefore, the method of computer simulation on astronaut extravehicular activity is broadly promoted. However, validations and verifications for these simulations stated in related literatures are incomplete such as comparing with the limits of human body movements or reconstructing a three-dimensional movement for some parts of EVA video. Novel modeling and verification methods for the task of an astronaut handling targe-mass payload during EVA were revealed. A simplified model of an astronaut was constructed, and the astronaut motion was conceived as a planar movement of a multi-body system which includes seven segments with six revolute joints in the human body sagittal plane. The inverse kinematics method was used to calculate joint angles, joint velocities, and joint accelerations in time domain. The solution of joint torques using the inverse recursive dynamics was achieved. Furthermore, a virtual model with the ADAMSTM software was developed and implemented to verify the results by adding the kinematical data calculated to joints in order to achieve the trace of the center of mass of the hand. Additionally, the joints kinematics and kinetics data with time in the virtual model were obtained and compared with the corresponding calculated data. This result indicates that the modeling methods proposed can be employed as a solid algorithm to conduct the simulation of astronaut＇s tasks in EVA, and verification using the virtual model can be easily operated and has a good accuracy. This study provides an effective and economical way of modeling and simulation for extravehicular missions.

基于矩阵理论对酚醛树脂胶粘剂中苯酚进行了木质素替代和酚化改性处理,研究了不同木质素对苯酚替代料对胶粘材料物性的影响,考察了酚化木质素基酚醛树脂胶粘剂的物理性能并与标准GB/T14732、GB/T 9846.3进行了对照。结果表明,酚化处理后木质素酚醛树脂胶粘剂的-COOH含量和脂肪族羟基含量相对有所减小,而总酚羟基含量和活性点含量有所增加。与GB/T 14732-2017标准要求进行对比,不同KL、F1、F2和F3替代率的木质素酚醛树脂胶粘剂的pH值、固含量、游离酚含量和胶接强度满足标准要求,而游离醛含量和甲醛释放量不满足标准要求;F3替代率为15%~35%的胶粘剂的游离醛含量和甲醛释放量不满足标准要求,F3替代率为5%的胶粘剂的游离醛含量和甲醛释放量满足标准要求。PF、PKLPF、PF1-LPF、PF2-LPF和PF3-LPF的游离醛含量、甲醛释放量和胶接强度满足标准要求。

Validation method for simulation models with cross iteration

Cross iteration often exists in the computational process of the simulation models, especially for control models. There is a credibility defect tracing problem in the validation of models with cross iteration. In order to resolve this problem, after the problem formulation, a validation theorem on the cross iteration is proposed, and the proof of the theorem is given under the cross iteration circumstance. Meanwhile, applying the proposed theorem, the credibility calculation algorithm is provided, and the solvent of the defect tracing is explained. Further, based on the validation theorem on the cross iteration, a validation method for simulation models with the cross iteration is proposed, which is illustrated by a flowchart step by step. Finally, a validation example of a sixdegree of freedom (DOF) flight vehicle model is provided, and the validation process is performed by using the validation method. The result analysis shows that the method is effective to obtain the credibility of the model and accomplish the defect tracing of the validation.

Motion and orientation of cylindrical and cubic particles in pipe flow with high concentration and high particle to pipe size ratio

Lattice Boltzmann method was used to numerically investigate the motion and orientation distribution of cylindrical and cubic particles in pipe flow with high concentration and high particle to pipe size ratio. The transient impulse model of 3D collisions between particles and between particle and wall is proposed. The numerical results are qualitatively in agreement with and quantitatively comparable to the experiment data. The results show that the increases of both the cylindrical particle to pipe size ratio and the particle aspect ratio decrease the rotation about all axes. All rotations of cubic particles decrease with increasing the particle concentration. The cubic particles, rotating more drastically in the flow with large Reynolds number, rotate faster than the cylindrical particles with the same size. The cylindrical particles align with the flow direction more obviously with decreasing Reynolds numbers. However, the orientations of cubic particles are spread all over the range with no significant difference in magnitude, and the Reynolds numbers have no obvious effect on the orientations of cubic particles.
