This paper describes the measurement of contact pressure in the context of wheel–terrain interaction as affected by wheel load and tire inflation pressure when fusion of the wavelet transform with the back-propagation(BP)neural network is applied to construct the wavelet neural network contact pressure prediction *** this aim,a controlled soil bin testing facility equipped with single-wheel tester was utilized while three levels of velocity,three levels of slippage and three levels of wheel load were *** image processing technique,contact area values were determined which were subsequently used for quantification of contact *** of the different predictor models incorporated of various mother wavelets were evaluated using standard statistical evaluation *** mean square error and coefficient of determination values of 0.1382 and 0.9864 achieved by the optimal wavelet neural network are better than that of BP neural *** proposed tool typifies a high learning speed,enhanced predicting accuracy,and strong robustness.

The novel imperialist competitive algorithm(ICA)has presented outstanding fitness on various optimization *** of meta-heuristics has been a dynamic studying interest of the reliability optimization to determine idleness and reliability *** application of a meta-heuristic evolutionary optimization method,imperialist competitive algorithm(ICA),for minimization of energy loss due to wheel rolling resistance in a soil bin facility equipped with single-wheel tester is *** required data were collected thorough various designed experiments in the controlled soil bin *** and global searching of the search space proposed that the energy loss could be reduced to the minimum amount of 15.46 J at the optimized input variable configuration of wheel load at 1.2 kN,tire inflation pressure of 296 kPa and velocity of 2 m/***,genetic algorithm(GA),particle swarm optimization(PSO)and hybridized GA–PSO approaches were benchmarked among the broad spectrum of meta-heuristics to find the outperforming *** was deduced that,on account of the obtained results,ICA can achieve optimum configuration with superior accuracy in less required computational time.

In this work, the authors introduce the concept of(p, q)-quasi-contraction mapping in a cone metric space. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for a(p, q)-quasi-contraction mapping in a complete cone metric space. The results of this paper generalize and unify further fixed point theorems for quasi-contraction, convex contraction mappings and two-sided convex contraction of order 2.

Exact determination of pressure-volume-temperature(PVT)properties of the reservoir oils is necessary for reservoir calculations,reservoir performance prediction,and the design of optimal production *** objective of this study is to develop intelligent and reliable models based on multilayer perceptron(MLP)and radial basis function(RBF)neural networks for estimating the solution gas–oil ratio as a function of bubble point pressure,reservoir temperature,oil gravity(API),and gas specific *** models were developed and tested using a total of 710 experimental data sets representing the samples of crude oil from various geographical locations around the *** of the developed MLP and RBF models were evaluated and investigated against a number of well-known empirical correlations using statistical and graphical error *** results indicated that the proposed models outperform the considered empirical correlations,providing a strong agreement between predicted and experimental values,However,the developed RBF exhibited higher accuracy and efficiency compared to the proposed MLP model.

Oxidation of magnetite concentrates, which occurs during the pellet induration process, must be deeply understood to enable the appropriate design of induration machines. In the present paper, the kinetics of the magnetite oxidation reaction was studied. Primary samples were obtained from the Gol-e-Gohar iron ore deposit. Magnetic separation and flotation decreased the sulfur content in the samples to be approximately 0.1wt%. Thermogravimetric analysis was used to measure mass changes during the oxidation of magnetite and, consequently, the conversion values. The aim of this study was to use isoconversional methods to calculate the kinetic parameters. The Coats-Redfern method was also used to obtain the activation energy. Thermogravimetric analyses were run at three different heating rates. The Coats-Redfern results were too ambiguous for a meaningful interpretation. In the case of the isoconversional method, however, the mean activation energy and pre-exponential factor of the oxidation reaction were obtained as 67.55 kJ and 15.32 × 108 min−1, respectively. Such a large activation energy implies that temperature strongly affects the reaction rate. The oxidation reaction exhibits a true multi-step nature that is predominantly controlled by chemical reaction and diffusion mechanisms.

94mTc was produced via natMo(p, xn)94mTc reaction. Deposition of MoO3 on Cu substrate was carried out via two special sedimentation methods for the production of 94mTc. The 533 mg of MoO3, 600 μL of collodium (nitrocellulose) and 3 mL of acetone were used to prepare a MoO3 layer of 11.69 cm2 and 45.81 mg·cm-2. Also, a MoO3 layer was prepared by 533 mg of MoO3, 71.188 mg of methylcellulose and 4 mL of water. The targets were checked by SEM and thermal shock test.
