Rice husk biochar inoculated with Bacillus megaterium(BM)(referred to as BM-inoculated biochar, BMB) and uninoculated rice husk biochar(RHB) were added to soil at two rates(0.5%, as BMB1 and RHB1, respectively, and 1.0%, as BMB2 and RHB2, respectively) in an incubation experiment to comprehensively evaluate their effects on basic soil properties, phosphorus(p) fractions, bacterial community composition, and p-cycling genes.

AIM:To assess whether there is a possible causal link between the intake of cheese and the risk of diabetic retinopathy(DR)utilizing a two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)***:The research data were obtained from summary statistics of genome-wide association studies(GWAS).Genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were extracted as instrumental variables(IVs),and DR was the outcome *** data were extracted from individuals of European *** data of cheese intake consisted of 451486 samples with 9851867 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNps),while the DR data consisted of 206234 samples with 16380446 ***-one genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were selected as *** analysis was performed by inverse-variance weighted(IVW)method and MR-Egger regression *** causal relationship between cheese intake and DR was evaluated using odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Egger-intercept test was used to test horizontal pleiotropy and sensitivity analysis was performed by leave-one-out ***:The p value of the IVW method was less than 0.05,indicating a significant negative correlation between cheese intake and ***-Egger regression showed that the intercept was 0.01 with a standard error of 0.022,and a p-value of 0.634,indicating no evidence of horizontal pleiotropy affecting the IVs related to the exposure ***,heterogeneity tests confirmed the absence of heterogeneity,and the“leave-one-out”sensitivity analysis demonstrated that the results were ***:Cheese intake is causally negatively correlated with the occurrence of DR,and cheese intake could reduce the risk of DR.

Solid oxide electrolysis cells(SOECs)provide a promising way for converting renewable energy into chemical ***,NiO/CGO(nickel-gadolinium doped ceria)cermet has shown its excellent properties in ionic and electronic conductivity under reducing ***,we developed a novel 1D NiO/CGO cathode through a cerium metal-organic framework(MOF)derived *** cathode’s 1D nanostructure integrated with a microchannel scaffold facilitates enhanced mass transport,providing vertically aligned pathways for CO_(2)and H_(2)O ***,the 1D framework increases the number of interfacial sites and reduces ion diffusion distances,thereby simplifying electron/ion ***,this advanced cathode achieved a significant breakthrough in SOEC performance,maintaining efficient CO_(2)and H_(2)O electrolysis at an extraordinary current density of 1.41 A/cm^(2)at 1.5 V and excellent stability over 24 h at 850℃.The enhanced performance of this newly developed cathode not only achieves a remarkable 100%improvement compared to those of NiO/CGO cathodes with varying geometrical configurations but also surpasses those of commercial NiO/CGO catalysts by an outstanding 40%when tested under identical *** development of the 1D NiO/CGO enhances the efficiency and durability of ceramic cathodes for CO_(2)and H_(2)O co-electrolysis in SOECs and improves the scalability and effectiveness of SOECs in renewable energy applications.

BACKGROUND The strategy for preventing colorectal cancer is screening by colonoscopy,which offers a direct way for detection and removal of adenomatous polyps(Aps).American College of Gastroenterology guidelines recommend that people aged≥45 years should undergo colonoscopy;however,how to deal with people aged≤45 years is still *** To compare the prevalence of Aps and high-grade neoplasia between the left and right colon in patients≤45 *** A retrospective observational study was conducted at a single tertiary III hospital in *** study included patients aged 18-45 years with undergoing initial colonoscopy dissection and pathological diagnosis Ap or high-grade neoplasia between February 2014 and January *** number of Aps in the entire colon while screening and post-polypectomy surveillance in following 1-3 years were *** A total of 3053 cases were *** prevalence of Aps in the left and right colon was 55.0%and 41.6%,respectively(OR 1.7,95%CI 1.6-2.4;pps with high-grade neoplasia,the prevalence was 2.7%and 0.9%,respectively(OR 3.0,95%CI 2.0-4.6;pprevalence of Aps and high-grade neoplasia in the left colon was significantly higher than in the right colon in patients aged≤45 *** were 327 patients who voluntarily participated in post-polypectomy surveillance in following 1-3 years,and Aps were found in 216 cases(66.1%);170 cases had 1-3 polyps(52.0%)and 46 cases had>3 polyps(14.1%;OR 0.3,95%CI 0.1-0.6;ppy would be an optimal approach for initial screening in people aged≤45 years and would be a more cost-effective and safe strategy.
