Hydrogen absorption behavior of TA15 alloy

The hydrogen absorption kinetics of TA15 titanium alloy at 973-1123 K was studied using a tube-type hydrogen treatment furnace. The hydrogen absorption kinetic curves obtained were analyzed according to a series of mechanism equations to reveal the kinetic parameters and mechanism of the hydrogen absorption process. The results show that both the hydrogen absorption rate and the equilibrium hydrogen pressure increase and the time to reach equilibrium is shortened with increasing temperature. It is found that only the second hydrogen absorption period exists in the hydrogen absorption process of TA15 alloy between 973 and 1123 K, and the activation energy is 54.889 kJ/mol for hydrogen absorption. X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） results demonstrate that δ hydride forms between 973 and 1123 K, and β phase decreases with the increase of temperature. Orthorhombic α＂ martensite is generated at 1073-1123 K, and their amount increases with increasing temperature.

To obtain bio-inspired structures with superior biological function,four bio-inspired structures named regular arrangement honeycomb structure(RAHS),staggered arrangement honeycomb structure(SAHS),floral arrangement honeycomb structure(FLAHS)and functional arrangement honeycomb structure(FUAHS)are designed by observing the microstructure of the Gideon beetle,based on the optimal size bio-inspired cells by response surface method(RSM)and particle swarm optimization(PSO)*** to Euler theory and buckling failure theory,compression deformation properties of bio-inspired structures are *** and simulations further verify the accuracy of theoretical analysis *** results show that energy absorption of FLAHS is,respectively,increased by 26.95%,22.85%,and 121.45%,compared with RAHS,SAHS,and *** modulus of FLAHS is 110.37%,110.37%,and 230.56% of RAHS,SAHS,and FUAHS,*** perfectly inherits crashworthiness and energy absorption properties of the Gideon beetle,and FLAHS has the most stable ***,RAHS,SAHS,and FUAHS,respectively,inherit mechanical properties of the Gideon beetle top horn,the Gideon beetle middle horn,and the abdomen of the *** method,designing bio-inspired structures with biological functions,can be introduced into the engineering field requiring the special function.

The highly reversible insertion/extraction of large-radius K^+into electrode materials remains a tough goal,especially for con version-type ***,we design a current collector-integrated electrode(N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu) as an advanced anode for potassium-ion battery(PIBs).The conductive CoSe/CoSe_(2) heterojunction with rich Se vacancy defects,conductive sp^2 N-doped carbon layer,and the elastic copper foil matrix can greatly accelerate the electron transfer and enhance the structural ***,the well-designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu current collector-integrated electrode displays enhanced potassium storage performance with regard to a high capacity(325.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) after 200cycles),an exceptional rate capability(223.5 mAh·g^(-1) at2000 mA·g^(-1)),and an extraordinary long-term cycle stability(a capacity fading of only 0.019% per cycle over1200 cycles at 2000 mA·g^(-1)).Impressively,ex situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterizations prove that the elastic structure of copper foil is merged into the cleverly designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu heterostructure,which buffers the deformation of structure and volume and greatly promotes the cycle life during the potassium/depotassium process.

Five new sesquiterpenoids(1-5),chloranholides A-E,along with three known compounds(6-8),were isolated from the whole plants of Chloranthus *** structures were elucidated using the spectroscopic methods(IR,UV,HR-ESI-MS,ID and 2D NMR),and their absolute configurations were determined by the X-ray crystallography and ECD *** 1-8 were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory effects on LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophage ***,compound 4 exhibited the most significant anti-inflammatory activity with the secretion levels of TNF-α and IL-6 at 15.52%and 5.98%,respectively,better than that of dexamethasone.

Folate-containing dextran ligand （FA-Dextran-DTPA） was synthesized by the incorporation of diethylenetriamine- pentaacetic acid （DTPA） and folate （FA） as a tumor-targeting group into dextran as a polymer carrier. This ligand was further reacted with gadolinium chloride to make a dextran gadolinium complex FA-Dextran-DTPA-Gd. The ligand and its gadolinium complex were characterized by 1H-NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis, average particle sizes and zeta potential, as well. In vitro properties including relaxivity, cytotoxicity assay, cellular uptake assay, and magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） were also evaluated. Compared with Gd-DTPA, FA-Dextran-DTPA-Gd possessed obviously higher relaxation effectiveness and lower cytotoxicity to HeLa cells. FA-Dextran-DTPA-Gd had a high affinity to the H460 and MDA-MB-231 tumor cells and can be taken up selectively by these tumor cells. Moreover, FA-Dextran-DTPA-Gd showed enhanced signal intensities （SI） of MRI and enhanced the contrast of MR images of tumor cells. These results indicated that FA-Dextran-DTPA-Gd showed the potential as a tumor-targeting contrast agent in MRI.

The fall armyworm(FAW)Spodoptera frugiperda,which originated in the Americas,is advancing across China and threatening the nation’s maize ***,one widely used tool for its control is genetically modified(GM)Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)*** content of Bt protein in appropriate plant parts is crucial for enhancing resistance against insect *** this study,we conducted a systematic investigation of Cry1 Ab levels in Chinese domestic GM maize DBN9936,which has recently obtained a biosafety certificate,and evaluated its efficacy against *** of expression levels of Cry1 Ab,via ELISA,indicated a spatio-temporal dynamic,with significant variation of mean Cry1 Ab,ranging from 0.76 to 8.48μg g-1 FW with the Cry1 Ab protein level ranked as:V6-V8 leaf>R1 leaf>R4 leaf>R1 silk>VT tassel>R4 *** the nine locations,the Cry1 Ab levels in DBN9936 of the Xinxiang,Langfang,and Harbin fields were significantly lower than those from Wuhan and Shenyang,and were slightly,but not significantly lower than those from the other four ***,the artificial diet-Cry1 Ab mixture and plant tissue feeding bioassays revealed that DBN9936 has high efficacy against *** insecticidal efficacy of different tissues against FAW larvae reached 34-100%with a descending order of lethality as follows:VT leaf>R4 leaf>R1 husk>R1 silk>VT tassel>R4 *** together,our results showed that Bt-Cry1 Ab maize DBN9936 has potential as a promising strategy to manage FAW.

Overexpression of receptor-interacting protein 140（RIP140） promotes neuronal differentiation of N2 a cells via extracellular regulated kinase 1/2（ERK1/2） ***,involvement of RIP140 in human neural differentiation remains *** found both RIP140 and ERK1/2 expression increased during neural differentiation of H1 human embryonic stem ***,RIP140 negatively correlated with stem cell markers Oct4 and Sox2 during early stages of neural differentiation,and positively correlated with the neural stem cell marker Nestin during later ***,ERK1/2 signaling may provide the molecular mechanism by which RIP140 takes part in neural differentiation to eventually affect the number of neurons produced.
