A detailed and accurate inventory map of landslides is crucial for quantitative hazard assessment and land *** methods relying on change detection and object-oriented approaches have been criticized for their dependence on expert knowledge and subjective *** advancements in highresolution satellite imagery,coupled with the rapid development of ar.ificial intelligence,par.icularly datadriven deep lear.ing algorithms(DL)such as convolutional neural networks(CNN),have provided rich feature indicators for landslide mapping,overcoming previous *** this review paper,77representative DL-based landslide detection methods applied in various environments over the past seven years were *** study analyzed the structures of different DL networks,discussed five main application scenarios,and assessed both the advancements and limitations of DL in geological hazard *** results indicated that the increasing number of ar.icles per year reflects growing interest in landslide mapping by ar.ificial intelligence,with U-Net-based structures gaining prominence due to their flexibility in feature extraction and ***,we explored the hindrances of DL in landslide hazard research based on the above research *** such as black-box operations and sample dependence per.ist,warranting further theoretical research and future application of DL in landslide detection.

To investigate the energy par.ition in laser.induced cavitation bubbles near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole,we utilized a nanosecond resolution photography system based on a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and conventional industrial camera to carefully observe the transient process of bubble collapse near the rigid wall with a gas-containing *** analyzed the generation of collapse microjets and the emission of collapse shock *** found that the cavitation bubble near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole collapsed at different times and space,and produced various types of shock *** on the far field pressure information of the shock waves measured by hydrophone,the energy of the shock waves generated by the bubble collapse near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole is calculated for the first *** results show that the ratio of collapse shock wave energy to bubble energy is approximately between 0.7 and 0.8.

impaired br.in glucose metabolism is an early indicator of Alzheimer’s disease(AD);however,the fundamental mechanism is *** this study,we found a substantial decline in isocitrate dehydrogenase 3β(iDH3β)levels,a critical tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme,in AD patients and AD-transgenic mice’s *** investigations demonstrated that the knockdown of iDH3βinduced oxidation-phosphorylation uncoupling,leading to reduced energy metabolism and lactate *** resulting increased lactate,a source of lactyl,was found to promote histone lactylation,thereby enhancing the expression of paired-box gene 6(PAX6).As an inhibitory transcription factor of iDH3β,the elevated PAX6 in turn inhibited the expression of iDH3β,leading to tau hyperphosphorylation,synapse impairment,and lear.ing and memory deficits resembling those seen in *** AD-transgenic mice,upregulating iDH3βand downregulating PAX6 were found to improve cognitive functioning and reverse AD-like ***,our data suggest that impaired oxidative phosphorylation accelerates AD progression via a positive feedback inhibition loop of iDH3β-lactate-PAX6-iDH3β.Breaking this loop by upregulating iDH3βor downregulating PAX6 attenuates AD neurodegeneration and cognitive impairments.

Gibberellic acid(GA3)is a vital plant growth hormone widely used in ***,GA3 production relies on liquid fermentation by the filamentous fungus Fusarium ***,the lack of an effective selection marker recycling system hampers the application of metabolic engineering technology in ***,as multiple-gene editing and positive-str.in screening still rely on a limited number of *** this study,we developed a strategy using pyr4-blaster and CriSPr/Cas9 tools for recycling orotidine-5'-phosphate decarboxylase(Pyr4)selection *** demonstrated the effectiveness of this method for.iterative gene integration and large gene-cluster *** also successfully improved GA3 titers by overexpressing geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase and truncated 3-hydroxy-3-methyl glutaryl coenzyme A reductase,which rewired the GA3 biosynthesis *** results highlight the efficiency of our established system in recycling selection markers during iterative gene editing ***,the selection marker recycling system lays the foundation for further research on metabolic engineering for GA3 industrial production.

Traditional photo-electcatalyst structures of small noble metal nanopar.icles assembling into large-scale photoactive semiconductors still suffer from agglomeration of noble metal nanopar.icles,insufficient charge transfer,undesirable photoresponse ability that restricted the photo-electrocatalytic *** this end,a novel design strategy is proposed in this work,namely integrating small-scale photoactive materials(doped graphene quantum dots,S,N-GQDs)with large-sized noble metal(Pd P)nanoflowers to form novel photo-electrocatalysts for high-efficient alcohol oxidation *** expected,superior electrocatalytic performance of Pd P/S,N-GQDs for ethylene glycol oxidation is acquired,thanks to the nanoflower structure with larger specific surface area and abundant active ***,nonmetal P are demonstrated,especially optimizing the adsorption strength,enhancing the interfacial contact,reducing metal agglomeration,ensuring uniform and efficient doping of S,N-GQDs,and ultimately significantly boost the catalytic activity of photo-electrocatalysts.

The present study has proposed a compact process for the production of high-purity β-Ga_(2)O_(3)powder by simply using gallium metal and water as the raw *** process basically consists of two essential steps including hydrothermal synthesis of Ga OOH and calcination of Ga OOH for the production of the target product of β-Ga_(2)O_(3).Thermodynamic evaluation and systematic experiments were conducted for process parameter optimization.X-ray diffractometer(XrD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),thermogravimetryDdifferential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)were utilized to clarify the reaction mechanisms of the hydrothermal synthesis and transformation of Ga OOH to β-Ga_(2)O_(3)by *** analysis of the final product of β-Ga_(2)O_(3)obtained under the optimal conditions was car.ied out with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(iCP-MS),and the results showed that the contents of the representative impurities such as Ni,Cu,in,Mn,Co,Zn and Cr are obviously lower than the requirement of 5N β-Ga_(2)O_(3)standard,exhibiting excellent application prospect of the proposed process to produce high-purity β-Ga_(2)O_(3).

Magnesium(Mg)alloys are considered to be a new generation of revolutionary medical ***-beam powder bed fusion(PBF-LB)is suitable for fabricating metal implants withpersonalized and complicated ***,the as-built part usually exhibits undesirable microstructure and unsatisfactory *** this work,WE43 parts were firstly fabricated by PBF-LB and then subjected to heat *** a high densification rate of 99.91%was achieved using suitable processes,the as-built parts exhibited anisotropic and layeredmicrostructure with heterogeneously precipitated Nd-rich *** heat treatment,fine and nano-scaled Mg24Y5par.icles were ***,theα-Mg gr.insunderwent recrystallization and turned coarsened slightly,which effectively weakened thetexture intensity and reduced the *** a consequence,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength were significantly improved to(250.2±3.5)MPa and(312±3.7)MPa,respectively,while the elongation was still maintained at a high level of 15.2%.Furthermore,the homogenized microstructure reduced the tendency of localized corrosion and favoredthe development of uniform passivation ***,the degradation rate of WE43 parts was decreased by an order of ***,in-vitro cell experiments proved their favorable biocompatibility.

Without intervention,a considerable propor.ion of patients with metabolism‐associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)will progress from simple steatosis to metabolism‐associated steatohepatitis(MASH),liver fibrosis,and even hepatocellular ***,the molecular mechanisms that control progressive MAFLD have yet to be fully ***,we unraveled that the expression of the N6-methyladenosine(m6A)methyltransferase METTL14 is remarkably downregulated in the livers of both patients and several murine models of MAFLD,whereas hepatocyte-specific depletion of this methyltransferase aggravated lipid accumulation,liver.injury,and ***,hepatic Mettl14 overexpression alleviated the above pathophysiological changes in mice fed on a high-fat diet(HFD).Notably,in vivo and in vitro mechanistic studies indicated that METTL14 downregulation decreased the level of GLS2 by affecting the translation efficiency mediated by YTHDF1 in an m6A-depedent manner,which might help to form an oxidative stress microenvironment and accor.ingly recr.it Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)monocyte-derived macrophages(Mo-macs).in detail,Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)Mo-macs can be categorized into M1-like macrophages and S100A4-positive macrophages and then further activate hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)to promote liver *** experiments revealed that CX3Cr1 can activate the transcription of S100A4 via CX3Cr1/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway in Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)*** of METTL14 or GLS2,or.interfering with this signal transduction pathway such as inhibiting MyD88 could ameliorate liver.injuries and *** together,these findings indicate potential therapies for the treatment of MAFLD progression.
