The construction of a new beamline,BL10U1,was completed at the Shanghai synchrotron radiation facility in *** multipurpose beamline was designed to provide X-ray scattering techniques such as ultra-small-angle X-ray scattering(USAXS),small-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),wide-angle X-ray scattering,and microfocus SAXS(μSAXS)for a broad user *** realize fast time-resolved USAXS experiments,the beamline adopted an in-vacuum undulator with a total length of 1.6 m as the photon *** in-house cryogenic-cooled double multilayer monochromator was installed to deliver a photon flux of approximately 10^(13. photons/s at a photon energy of 10 *** three-year successful operation of this beamline demonstrated that the monochromator operated smoothly,as ***10U1 has three end stations in succession:USAXS end station,μSAXS end station,and end station for industrial *** minimum scattering vector q~0.0042.nm^(-1) at 10 keV can be achieved at the USAXS end station equipped with a 2. m-long and 1.8 m-diameter vacuum flight *** theμSAXS end station,a beam spot of less than 10×8μm was achieved for micro-SAXS *** contrast,in situ experimental instruments up to 5 m high and 8 m wide can be mounted at the industrial application end station,which offers industrial scientists the opportunity to use their large industrial ***10U1 opens up a new capability to investigate phenomena such as non-equilibrium and dynamic processes of materials with a wide length scale from angstroms to micrometers with millisecond time *** this paper,we also report beamline design considerations and commissioning results.

Background The aim of this study was to characterize the variable phenotypes and outcomes associated with the methylmalonic aciduria and homocystinuria type C protein gene(MMACHC)c.482.>A mutation in 195 Chinese cases with CblC *** We carried out a national,retrospective multicenter study of 195 Chinese patients with CblC disease attributable to the MMACHC c.482.>A variant either in a homozygous or compound heterozygous *** control group consisted of 2.0 patients diagnosed with CblC disease who did not possess the c.482.>A *** features,including disease onset,symptoms,biochemical metabolites,gene mutation,and follow-up outcomes were reviewed and analyzed in *** median follow-up period spanned 3.years and 8 months,with a range of 1 year and 2.months to 12.years and 10 *** Among 195 patients carrying the c.482.>A variant,12.(64.1%)cases were diagnosed by newborn screening(NBS),60(3..8%)cases were detected due to disease onset,and 10(5.1%)cases were identified from sibling *** hundred and seventeen(93.6%)individuals who were diagnosed by NBS,and nine patients who came from sibling diagnoses remained asymptomatic in this *** 69 symptomatic patients of the c.482.>A group,more patients presented with later onset,and the top six common clinical symptoms at disease onset were developmental delay(59.4%),lower limb weakness and poor exercise tolerance(50.7%),cognitive decline(3..7%),gait instability and abnormal posture(3..2.),seizures(2..1%),and psychiatric and behavioral disturbances(2..6%).In the 159 symptomatic patients lacking c.482.>A variants,the most frequently observed clinical manifestations at disease onset included developmental delay(81.8%),lethargy and feeding difficulty(62.9%),lower limb weakness and poor exercise tolerance(54.7%),prolonged neonatal jaundice(51.6%),vomiting(47.2.),and seizures(3.0}7%).Before treatment,the levels of blood propionylcarnitine,propionylcarnitine/acetylcarnitine ratio

Design of dual-functional protic porous ionic liquids for boosting selective extractive desulfurization

Porous ionic liquids have demonstrated excellent performance in the field of separation, attributed to their high specific surface area and efficient mass transfer. Herein, task-specific protic porous ionic liquids(PPILs) were prepared by employing a novel one-step coupling neutralization reaction strategy for extractive desulfurization. The single-extraction efficiency of PPILs reached 75.0% for ***, adding aromatic hydrocarbon interferents resulted in a slight decrease in the extraction efficiency of PPILs(from 45.2. to 3..3., 3..9%, and 3..5%), indicating the excellent extraction selectivity of PPILs. The experimental measurements and density functional theory calculations reveal that the surface channels of porous structures can selectively capture dibenzothiophene by the stronger electrophilicity(Eint(HS surface channel/DBT)=-3..8 kcal mol-1), and the multiple extraction sites of ion pairs can effectively enrich and transport dibenzothiophene from the oil phase into PPILs through π...π, C-H...π and hydrogen bonds interactions. Furthermore, this straightforward synthetic strategy can be employed in preparing porous liquids, offering new possibilities for synthesizing PPILs with tailored functionalities.

We discuss the security of the kind of multiparty quantum secret sharing protocols encrypting in series. It is secure against the eavesdroppers outside. However it is weak to withstand the attack of insider with a fake signal and cheating. An idiographic attack strategy is given based on the protocol. Furthermore, we conclude the key leak of the protocols and present a possible way to prevent the dishonest agents from stealing the secret.

Measuring the two photons from a Bell state will yield certain correlations between the measurement results. Based on this feature, two quantum secret sharing protocols were proposed. The security against several general attacks was analysed and it was shown that both schemes are secure in theory. Furthermore, both schemes achieve full efficiency and there is no need to utilize multi-particle entanglement, which is relatively more difficult to generate.

Postoperative body weight change and its influencing factors in patients with gastric cancer

Painful stimuli elicit first-line reflexive defensive reactions and,in many cases,also evoke second-line recuperative behaviors,the latter of which reflects the sensing of tissue damage and the alleviation of *** lateral parabrachial nucleus(lPBN),composed of external-(elPBN),dorsal-(dlPBN),and central/superior-subnuclei(jointly referred to as slPBN),receives sensory inputs from spinal projection neurons and plays important roles in processing affective information from external threats and body integrity ***,the organizational rules of lPBN neurons that provoke diverse behaviors in response to different painful stimuli from cutaneous and deep tissues remain *** this study,we used region-specific neuronal depletion or silencing approaches combined with a battery of behavioral assays to show that slPBN neurons expressing substance P receptor(NK1R)(lPBNNK1R)are crucial for driving pain-associated self-care behaviors evoked by sustained noxious thermal and mechanical stimuli applied to skin or bone/muscle,while elPBN neurons are dispensable for driving such ***,lPBNNK1R neurons are specifically required for forming sustained somatic pain-induced negative teaching signals and aversive memory but are not necessary for fear-learning or escape behaviors elicited by external ***,both lPBNNK1R and elPBN neurons contribute to chemical irritant-induced nocifensive *** results reveal the functional organization of parabrachial substrates that drive distinct behavioral outcomes in response to sustained pain versus external danger under physiological conditions.

High fish predation pressure can trigger"induced defense"in Daphnia species,resulting in phenotypic plasticity in morphology,behavior,or life-history *** molecular mechanisms of defense morphogenesis(e.g.,the tail spine and helmet)in Daphnia remain *** the pres-ent study,the tail spine,helmet,and body of Daphnia galeata under fish and non-fish kairomones conditions were collected for transcriptome analysis.A total of 2. candidate genes related to the morphological defense of *** were identified,including 2.trypsin,one cuticle protein,1 C1qDC protein,and 2.ferritin *** function of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)in relation to tail spine morphology was assessed using RNA interference(RNAi).Compared with the EGFP(Enhanced green fluorescent protein)treatment,after RNAi,the expression levels of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)showed a significant ***,the tail spines of the offspring pro-duced by *** after RNAi of the Dagcut gene appeared curved during the *** whole-mount in situ hybridization,a clear signal site was detected on the tail spine of *** before RNAi which disappeared after *** results suggest that the Dagcut gene may play an important role in tail spine formation of ***,and will provide a theoretical basis for studying the molecular mechanisms of the morpho-logical plasticityin cladocera inthefuture.
