A new algorithm for symbolic computation of polynomial-type conserved densities for nonlinear evolution systems is presented. The algorithm is implemented in Maple. The improved algorithm is more efficient not only in removing the redundant terms of the genera/form of the conserved densities but also in solving the conserved densities with the associated flux synchronously without using Euler operator. Furthermore, the program *** can be used to determine the preferences for a given parameterized nonlinear evolution systems. The code is tested on several well-known nonlinear evolution equations from the soliton theory.

BACKGROUND Peutz-Jeghers(PJ)syndrome(PJS)is a rare autosomal dominant genetic disease characterized by the association of intestinal polyposis,mucosal skin pigmen-tation,and cancer *** patients have a significantly increased risk of malignant tumors in the gastrointestinal tract and extra-gastrointestinal tract,including various epithelial malignant tumors(colorectal cancer,gastric cancer,pancreatic cancer,breast cancer,and ovarian cancer,etc.).PJS is commonly seen in children and adolescents with multiple small intestinal polyps,often causing *** SUMMARY A 62-year-old male presented with intermittent left lower abdominal pain after drinking or consuming cold beverages that was accompanied by occasional *** contrast-enhanced computed tomography indicated an isolated sigmoid colon grape-like ***,the patient underwent la-paroscopic surgery,and the pathological diagnosis was PJ hamartomatous *** was not considered at the initial visit,as the patient was older,and the facial pigmentation was not ***,significant pigmentation was observed in the perineum during digital rectal ***,we observed that the patient exhibited nodular shadows in the adrenal glands computed tomo-graphy images that may be related to ***,we performed the determination of adrenal cortical hormones,but the results were not *** with skin and mucosal pigmentation and laboratory examinations,the patient was diagnosed with *** laparoscopic sigmoid colon resection,the patient's symptoms improved,and no discomfort symptoms were reported in the later *** The age of onset and lesion location of this case are different from those of typical or isolated PJS patients.

Fluoride salt-cooled high-temperature reactors(FHRs) include many attractive features, such as high temperature, large heat capacity, low pressure and strong inherent safety. Transient characteristics of FHR are particularly important for evaluating its operation performance. Thus, a specialized code OCFHR(operation and control analysis code of FHR) issued to study an experimental FHR's operation behaviors. The geometric modeling of OCFHR is based on one-dimensional lumped parameter method, and some simplifications are taken into consideration during simulation due to the existence of complex structures such as pebble bed, intermediate heat exchanger(IHX), air radiator(AR) and multiply channels.A point neutron kinetics model is developed, and neutron physics calculation is needed to provide some key inputs including axial power density distribution, reactivity coefficients and parameters about delayed neutron precursors. For analyzing the operational performance, five disturbed transients are simulated, involving reactivity step insertion, variations of coolant mass flow rate of primary loop and intermediate loop, adjustment of air inlet temperature and mass flow rate of air cooling *** results indicate that inherent self-stability of FHR restrains severe consequences under above transients,and some dynamic features are observed, such as large negative temperature feedbacks, remarkable thermal inertia and high response delay.

Effect of mechanical activation on enhancement of carbothermal reduction of nickel slag

The effects of mechanical activation on particle size distribution,crystalline phase,morphology,and mechanical energy storage of nickel slag were ***,the direct reduction experiments of mechanically activated nickel slag mixed with reducing agent graphite powder were performed under conditions of 873-1273 K and reduction for 30-70 *** results show that after 12 h of activation,90%of the nickel slag has a particle diameter less than 1.05 pm,and the total energy storage is 1790.4 kJ mol^(-1).With the extension of the mechanical activation duration,the intensity of the dift'raction peaks of the main crystalline phases Fe_(2)SiO_(4) and Mg2SiO4 in the nickel slag *** activation is also an effective means to enhance the reduction of nickel *** the extension of the activation time,the reduction effect of the nickel slag and metallization degree *** 12 h of mechanical activation,the nickel slag was reduced at 1273 K for 70 min,and the metallization degree of the reduced product could reach 83.12%.

Rutile-type fluorides have been proven to be active components in the context of emerging antiferromagnetic devices. However, controlled synthesis of low-dimensional, in particular two-dimensional (2D),fluorides in a predictable and deterministic manner remains unrealized because of a lack of efficient anisotropic control, which impedes their further development in reduced dimensions. We report here that altered passivation of{110}growing facets can direct the synthesis of rutile-type fluoride nanocrystals into well-defined zero-dimensional (0D) particulates, one-dimensional (1D) rods and 2D sheets in a colloidal approach. The obtained nanocrystals show positive exchange bias and enhanced magnetic transition temperature from the coexistence of long-range antiferromagnetic order and disordered surface spins,making them strong alternatives for flexible magnetic devices and sensors.

The micro-Raman method is a non-contact and non-destructive method for thermal conductivity *** reduce the measurement error induced by the poor fit of the basic equation of the original micro-Raman method,we developed a new basic equation for the heat source of a Gaussian laser *** on the new basic equation,an analytical heat transfer model has been built to extend the original micro-Raman method to thin films with submicrometer-or nanometer-scale ***-periments were performed to measure the thermal conductivity of dielectric thin films with submicrometer-or nanometer-scale *** thermal resistance of the interface between dielectric thin films and their silicon substrate was also *** obtained thermal conductivity of silicon dioxide film is 1.23W/(m.K),and the interface thermal resistance between silicon dioxide film and substrate is 2.35×10-8m2.K/*** thermal conductivity and interface thermal resistance of silicon nitride film are 1.07W/(m.K)and 3.69×10-8m2.K/W,*** experimental results are consistent with reported data.
