The silicon heterojunction(SHJ)solar cell has long been considered as one of the most promising candidates for the next-generation PV *** metal oxides(TMOs)show good carrier selectivity when combined with c-Si solar *** has led to the rapid demonstration of the remarkable potential of TMOs(especially MoO_(x))with high work function to replace the p-type a-Si:H emitting ***_(x) can induce a strong inversion layer on the interface of n-type c-Si,which is beneficial to the extraction and conduction of *** this paper,the radio-frequency(RF)magnetron sputtering is used to deposit MoO_(x) *** optical,electrical and structural properties of MoO_(x) films are measured and analyzed,with focus on the inherent compositions and work *** the MoO_(x) films are applied into SHJ solar *** the MoO_(x) works as a buffer layer between ITO/p-a-Si:H interface in the reference SHJ solar cell,a conversion efficiency of 19.1%can be *** the MoOx is used as a hole transport layer(HTL),the device indicates a desirable conversion efficiency of 17.5%.To the best of our knowledge,this current efficiency is the highest one for the MoO_(x) film as HTL by RF sputtering.

Treatment of aggressive pancreatic solid pseudo-papillary neoplasms with apatinib plus S-1 chemotherapy:A case report and literature review

Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm(SPN) is a rare indolent pancreatic neoplasm that occurs mostly in females. Although the malignancy potential is quite limited for SPN, these tumors can sometimes be aggressive and lead to inferior prognosis for male patients. In this case report, we present a special case of a male patient with SPN who experienced an aggressive tumor expansion after two surgical resections. For further treatment, we decided to administer chemotherapy with apatinib and S-1, and subsequent CT/MRI tumor monitoring indicated satisfactory control of tumor expansion. The effectiveness of apatinib plus the S-1 regimen should be tested for more patients with SPN in the future.

In this paper, the principles of homogeneous coordinate and analytical mechanics are used to build the equations of the dynamics differential equation of Circular Rail Inverted Pendulum. The Bang-Bang-Adjust Control Algorithm is put forward, and by applying control torque reasonably, the computer control during the swing-up process of Circular Rail Inverted Pendulum has been realized. The computer simulation of the swing-up process of Inverted Pendulum is also provided. The results indicated that the dynamics model and the control method are effective and feasible.

The great triangular seismic region in eastern Asia:Thoughts on its dynamic context

A huge triangle-shaped tectonic region in eastern Asia plays host to numerous major earth- quakes. The three boundaries of this region, which contains plateaus, mountains, and intermountain basins, are roughly the Himalayan arc, the Tianshan-Baikal, and longitude line -105°E. Within this trian- gular region, tectonism is intense and major deformation occurs both between crustal blocks and within most of them. Outside of this region, rigid blocks move as a whole with relatively few major earthquakes and relatively weak Cenozoic deformation. On a large tectonic scale, the presence of this broad region of intraplate deformation results from dynamic interactions between the Indian, Philippine Sea-West Pacific, and Eurasian plates, as well as the influence of deep-level mantle flow. The Indian subcontinent, which continues to move northwards at -40 mm/a since its collision with Eurasia, has plunged beneath Tibet, resulting in various movements and deformations along the Himalayan arc that diffuse over a long distance into the hinterland of Asia. The northward crustal escape of Asia from the Himalayan collisional zone turns eastwards and southeastwards along 95°-100°E longitude and defines the eastern Himalayan syntaxis. At the western Himalayan syntaxis, the Pamirs continue to move into central Asia, leading to crustal deformation and earthquakes that are largely accommodated by old EW or NW trending faults in the bordering areas between China, Mongolia, and Russia, and are restricted by the stable landmass northwest of the Tianshan-Altai-Baikal region. The subduction of the Philippine and Pacific plates under the Eurasian continent has generated a very long and narrow seismic zone along trenches and island arcs in the marginal seas while imposing only slight horizontal compression on the Asian continent that does not impede the eastward motion of eastern Asia. Improved Photocatalytic Activity of Porous In2O3 by co-Modifying Nanosized CuO and Ag with Synergistic Effects

Charge separation and oxygen activation are two crucial factors in the photocatalytic oxidation of *** it is meaningful to simultaneously enhance charge separation and promote O2 ***,it is demonstrated that the photocatalytic activity of porous In2O3is greatly improved after co-modifying nanosized CuO and Ag for oxidizing 2,4-dichlorophenol(2.4-DCP)and Co compared with that of individual *** on the *** spectroscopy,02 temperature-programmed desorption,electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy and electrochemical results,the improved photoactivity is mainly attributed to the synergistic effects of enhancing photogenerated charge separation and promoting oxygen activation by respectively coupled nanosized CuO and Ag It is confirmed that the produced·O2^-radicals are dominant to induce the photocatalvtic oxidation of *** work offers an effective way to develop high-activity In203-based nanophotocatalysts for oxidizing pollutants.

Environmental pollution caused by the presence of aromatic aldehydes and dyes in wastewater is a serious global concern. An effective strategy for the removal of these pollutants is their catalytic conversion, possibly to valuable compounds. Therefore, the design of efficient, stable and long-lifetime catalysts is a worthwhile research goal. Herein, we used nanofibrous carbon microspheres (NCM) derived from the carbohydrate chitin present in seafood waste, and characterized by interconnected nanofibrous networks and N/O-containing groups, as carriers for the manufacture of a highly dispersed, efficient and stable Pd nano-catalyst (mean diameter ca. 2.52 nm). Importantly, the carbonised chitin’s graphitized structure, defect presence and large surface area could promote the transport of electrons between NCM and Pd, thereby endowing NCM supported Pd catalyst with high catalytic activity. The NCM supported Pd catalyst was employed in the degradation of some representative dyes and the chemoselective hydrogenation of aromatic aldehydes;this species exhibited excellent catalytic activity and stability, as well as applicability to a broad range of aromatic aldehydes, suggesting its potential use in green industrial catalysis.

Ternary deep eutectic solvents catalyzed D-glucosamine self-condensation to deoxyfructosazine: NMR study

Ternary deep eutectic solvents(TDESs) comprising choline chloride(Ch Cl), glycerol and L-arginine were synthesized as catalysts and solvents for the conversion of D-glucosamine(GlcNH_(2)) into deoxyfructosazine(DOF). The interactions between these three components in the prepared TDESs were studied by ^(1)H-,^(35)Cl-NMR spectra and ^(1)H diffusion-ordered spectroscopy(DOSY) measurements. The chemical shift changes of active hydrogen in the ^(1)H-NMR spectra of TDES system and widening of signals in the^(35)Cl-NMR spectra confirmed the hydrogen bonding interaction between the components, which was further supported by the decrease of diffusion coefficients(D) of the TDES components according to ^(1)H DOSY measurements. The influences of reaction temperature and L-arginine content in the TDESs on the yield of DOF were also studied. The experimental results have shown that when the molar ratio of Ch Cl, glycerol, and L-arginine was 1:2:0.1, DOF was the major product with a yield of 22.6% at 90℃ for 120 min. The chemical shift titration indicated that the carboxyl group of L-arginine in the TDES is the catalytical active site, so the mechanism of the catalytic reaction between Glc NH_(2) and the TDES was proposed. Moreover, a reaction intermediate, dihydrofructosazine, was identified in the self-condensation reaction of Glc NH_(2) by an in situ ^(1)H NMR technique.

Honeycomb-patterned films of polystyrene/poly(ethylene glycol): Preparation, surface aggregation and protein adsorption

Highly ordered honeycomb-patterned polystyrene (PS)/poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) films were prepared by a water-assisted method using an improved setup, which facilitated the formation of films with higher regularity, better reproducibility, and larger area of honeycomb structures. Surface aggregation of hydrophilic PEG and adsorption of bovine serum albumin (BSA) on the honeycomb-patterned films were investigated. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were used to observe the surface morphologies of the films before and after being rinsed with water. As confirmed by the FESEM images and the AFM phase images, PEG was enriched in the pores and could be gradually removed by water. The adsorption of fluorescence-labeled BSA on the films was studied in visual form using laser scanning confocal microscopy. Results clearly demonstrated that the protein-resistant PEG was selectively enriched in the pores. This water-assisted method may be a latent tool to prepare honeycomb-patterned biofunctional surfaces.
