Thermo-mechanical experiments on martensitic heat-resistant 40Cr10si2Mo steel were conducted using a Gleeble simulator in temperature and strain rate ranges of 1073–1373 K and 0.1–20 s^(-1),*** maps were developed and correlated with deformed microstructures based on the dynamic material model *** analysis of the maps revealed that both applied temperature and strain rate had significant effects on the power dissipation efficiency and flow instability of the steel *** backscatter diffraction analysis was also implemented to study the effect of deformation conditions on martensitic *** results showed that higher temperatures and strain rates led to a fine martensitic packet,and the martensite lath increased in width at high *** deformation domains,which exhibit different recrystallization processes,were *** discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DRX)mechanism in the low strain rate domain was characterized by the migration and growth of high-angle grains during *** contrast,in the high strain rate domain,the development of new grain boundaries is primarily associated with the deformation microbands in the low-temperature deformation *** the temperature increased,the high dislocation density accelerated the migration of the grain ***,the DRX mechanism changed from continuous DRX to *** change in the DRX mechanism type was attributed to the time during which the sample remained high temperature after deformation.

The recovery and subsequent reuse of heavy metal ions from industrial wastewater are crucial for promoting sustainable development,but they also presen significant *** this article,ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride(EDTAD),which possesses strong metal chelating ability,is covalently attached to MIL-101-NH_(2)(Fe),resulting in a significant improvement in the removal rate of heavy metal ions in ***,the recovered waste metal ions are transformed into high-performance FeNi_(3)/NiFe_(2)O_(4)@NC dual-functional oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)***,FeNi_(3)/NiFe_(2)O_(4)@NC exhibits outstanding OER performance,with only a264 mV overpotential at 10 mA·cm^(-2).Density functiona theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the synergistic effect of the FeNi_(3)/NiFe_(2)O_(4)@NC heterostructure can enhance conductivity,optimize the free energy of*to OH*during OER reaction,and promote catalytic *** work not only improves the removal rate of heavy metal ions but also obtains high-performance catalysts,while providing a new approach for the treatment and secondary utilization of heavy metal ion wastewater as well as the preparation of low-cost catalysts.

High-stability spherical lanthanide nanoclusters for magnetic resonance imaging

High-nuclear lanthanide clusters have shown great potential for the administration of high-dose mononuclear gadolinium chelates in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). The development of high-nuclear lanthanide clusters with excellent solubility and high stability in water or solution has been challenging and is very important for expanding the performance of MRI. We used N-methylbenzimidazole-2-methanol(HL) and LnCl3·6H2O to synthesize two spherical lanthanide clusters, Ln32(Ln = Ho, Ho32; and Ln =Gd, Gd32), which are highly stable in solution. The 24 ligands L-are all distributed on the periphery of Ln32and tightly wrap the cluster core, ensuring that the cluster is stable. Notably, Ho32can remain highly stable when bombarded with different ion source energies in HREsi-MS or immersed in an aqueous solution of different pH values for 24 h. The possible formation mechanism of Ho32was proposed to be Ho(Ⅲ),(L)-and H2O → Ho3(L)3/Ho3(L)4→ Ho4(L)4/Ho4(L)5→ Ho6(L)6/Ho6(L)7→ Ho16(L)19→Ho28(L)15→ Ho32(L)24/Ho32(L)21/Ho32(L)23. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study of the assembly mechanism of spherical high-nuclear lanthanide clusters. Spherical cluster Gd32, a form of highly aggregated Gd(Ⅲ), exhibits a high longitudinal relaxation rate(1 T, r1= 265.87 mM-1·s-1). More notably, compared with the clinically used commercial material Gd-DTPA, Gd32has a clearer and higher-contrast T1-weighted MRI effect in mice bearing 4T1 tumors. This is the first time that high-nuclear lanthanide clusters with high water stability have been utilized for MRI. High-nuclear Gd clusters containing highly aggregated Gd(Ⅲ) at the molecular level have higher imaging contrast than traditional Gd chelates; thus, using large doses of traditional gadolinium contrast agents can be avoided.

AIM: To determine if mir-30 d inhibits the autophagy response to Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) invasion and increases H. pylori intracellular ***: The expression of mir-30 d was detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR), and autophagy level was examined by transmission electron microscopy, western blot, and GFP-LC3 puncta assay in human AGS cells and GES-1 cells. Luciferase reporter assay was applied to confirm the specificity of mir-30 d regulation on the expression of several core molecules involved in autophagy pathway. The expression of multiple core proteins were analyzed at both the m RNA and protein level, and the intracellular survival of H. pylori after different treatments was detected by gentamicin protection ***: Autophagy level was increased in AGS and GES-1 cells in response to H. pylori infection, which was accompanied by upregulation of mir-30 d expression(P sion. mir-30 d mimic decreased the luciferase activity of wild type reporter plasmids carrying the 3′ untranslated region(UTR) of all five tested genes(ATG2B, ATG5, ATG12, BECN1, and BNIP3L), whereas it had no effect on the mutant reporter plasmids. These five genes are core genes of autophagy pathway, and their expression was reduced significantly after mir-30 d mimic transfection(P < 0.05, vs control cells without mir-30 d mimic treatment). Mir-30 d mimic transfection and direct inhibition of autophagy increased the intracellular survival of H. pylori in AGS ***: Mir-30 d increases intracellular survival of H. pylori in gastric epithelial cells through inhibition of multiple core proteins in the autophagy pathway.

First-principles study of structural, elastic, and electronic properties of the B20 structure Ossi has been reported using the plane-wave pseudopotential density functional theory method. The calculated equilibrium lattice and elastic constants are in good agreement with the experimented data and other theoretical results. The dependence of the elastic constants, the aggregate elastic modulus, the deviation from the Cauchy relation, the elastic wave velocities in different directions and the elastic anisotropy on pressure have been obtained and discussed. This could be the first quantitative theoretical prediction of the elastic properties under high pressure of Ossi compound. Moreover, the electronic structure calculations show that Ossi is a degenerate semiconductor with the gap value of 0.68 eV, which is higher than the experimental value of 0.26 eV. The analysis of the PDOS reveals that hybridization between Os d and sip states indicates a certain covalency of the Os-si bonds.
