This paper reviewed the recent research progress of organic reactions catalyzed by four typical earthabundant and 3d metal catalysts:Mn,Fe,Co,and Ni complexes and mainly focused on the reactions in which these 3d metal catalysts exhibited obvious advantages over other *** mechanism that makes these 3d metal catalysts show unusual properties is another focus of this *** outlook on 3d metal complexes-catalyzed organic reactions was also considered.

Maintaining thermal comfort within the human body is crucial for optimal health and overall *** merely broadening the setpoint of indoor temperatures,we could significantly slash energy usage in building heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning *** recent years,there has been a surge in advancements in personal thermal management(PTM),aiming to regulate heat and moisture transfer within our immediate surroundings,clothing,and *** advent of PTM is driven by the rapid development in nano/micro-materials and energy science and *** emerging research area in PTM is personal radiative thermal management(PRTM),which demonstrates immense potential with its high radiative heat transfer efficiency and ease of ***,it is less taken into account in traditional textiles,and there currently lies a gap in our knowledge and understanding of *** this review,we aim to present a thorough analysis of advanced textile materials and technologies for ***,we will introduce and discuss the underlying radiation heat transfer mechanisms,fabrication methods of textiles,and various indoor/outdoor applications in light of their different regulation functionalities,including radiative cooling,radiative heating,and dual-mode ***,we will shine a light on the current hurdles,propose potential strategies,and delve into future technology trends for PRTM with an emphasis on functionalities and applications.

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in China(2022) intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in China. This section dissects cardiovascular risk factors in China which including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, metabolic syndrome and air pollution. Hypertension prevalence has steadily increased in China,with efforts to control it facing challenges in achieving optimal rates, especially in rural areas. Interventions like salt substitutes and intensive blood pressure control show promise but need improvement. Abnormal lipid levels, indicative of dyslipidemia,have risen significantly, posing a risk for cardiovascular diseases. Despite efforts, many patients struggle to achieve target lipid levels, necessitating improved treatment strategies. Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus affect millions of adults in China,with long-term complications adding to the disease burden. Early intervention and effective management are crucial to mitigate its impact. Prevalent among older adults, chronic kidney disease is associated with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases, necessitating comprehensive management approaches. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome, characterized by a cluster of risk factors, has increased in both adults and adolescents, calling for lifestyle modifications and public health interventions. Ambient and household air pollution remain significant environmental risk factors, despite some improvements in air quality. Continued efforts to reduce emissions are essential for mitigating associated health risks. Addressing these risk factors requires a multifaceted approach, including public health initiatives, policy interventions, and individual-level strategies to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce environmental exposures. Dendrite growth is a complex liquid-solid phase transition process involving multiple physical factors.A phase-field lattice-Boltzmann method was developed to simulate the two-and three-dimension dendrite growth of Al-Cu *** effect of fully coupled thermal-solute-convection interaction on the dendrite growth was investigated by incorporating a parallel-adaptive mesh refinement algorithm into the numerical *** accurately reproducing the latent heat release,solute diffusion and convective transport behaviors at the liquidsolid interface,the interaction mechanism among thermal-solute-convection transport as well as their coupling effects on the dendrite growth dynamics were *** simulation results show that the release of latent heat slows down the dendrite growth rate,and both natural and forced convection disrupt the symmetrical growth of *** combination makes the growth of dendrites more complex,capturing important physical aspects such as recalescence,dendrite tip splitting,dendrite tilting,dendrite remelting,and solute plume in the simulation *** on the robustness and powerful ability of the numerical model,the formation mechanisms of these physical aspects were revealed.

The emergence of exotic quantum phenomena in frustrated magnets is rapidly driving the development of quantum many-body physics,raising fundamental questions on the nature of quantum phase *** we unveil the behaviour of emergent symmetry involving two extraordinarily representative phenomena,i.e.,the deconfined quantum critical point(DQCP)and the quantum spin liquid(QSL)*** large-scale tensor network simulations,we study a spatially anisotropic spin-1/2 square-lattice frustrated antiferromagnetic(AFM)model,namely the J1x-J1y-J2 model,which contains anisotropic nearestneighbor couplings J1x,J1y and the next nearest neighbor coupling *** small J1y/J1x,by tuning J2,a direct continuous transition between the AFM and valence bond solid phase is *** growing J1y/J1x,a gapless QSL phase gradually emerges between the AFM and VBS *** observe an emergent O(4)symmetry along the AFM–VBS transition line,which is consistent with the prediction of DQCP *** surprisingly,we find that such an emergent O(4)symmetry holds for the whole QSL–VBS transition line as *** findings reveal the intrinsic relationship between the QSL and DQCP from categorical symmetry point of view,and strongly constrain the quantum field theory description of the QSL *** phase diagram and critical exponents presented in this paper are of direct relevance to future experiments on frustrated magnets and cold atom systems.

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in China(2022)intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in *** is the third section of the report with a specific focus on community-based prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases(CVD).This section of the report underscores the importance of initiatives outlined in the"Healthy China 2030 Plan,"emphasizing the comprehensive prevention and control strategy for chronic diseases.A key aspect of this plan involves the establishment of national demonstration areas aimed at comprehensive prevention and control of chronic *** 2020,488 such areas had been set up across China,surpassing the initial target and covering a significant proportion of counties and *** report highlights the successful implementation of these strategies in Lishan district,Anshan city,where demonstration areas for comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases were launched in *** the course of seven years,the number of healthy units increased substantially,leading to improvements in managing risk factors for CVD among *** reductions in prevalence rates of overweight,obesity,smoking,passive smoking,and drinking were observed,along with the development of healthier behaviors among ***,Qiaokou district in Wuhan City,designated as a national demonstration area in 2014,implemented comprehensive public health promotion ***,special clinics for hypertension intervention were established,contributing to an increase in self-reported rates of hypertension,a slight decrease in prevalence,and a remarkable improvement in the control rate among treated ***,these efforts underscore the effectiveness of community-based approaches in driving positive health outcomes and advancing the comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases,particularly cardiovascular diseases,in China.

BACKGROUND This study was to investigate the application value of whole-body dynamic ^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG)positron emission tomography/computed tomogra-phy(PET/CT)imaging in recurrent anastomotic tumors of digestive tract after gastric and esophageal cancer *** patients with gastric and esophageal cancer have a high risk of tumor recurrence,and traditional imaging methods have certain limitations in early detection of recurrent ***-body dynamic ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT imaging,due to its high sensitivity and specifi-city,can provide comprehensive information on tumor metabolic activity,which is expected to improve the early diagnosis rate of postoperative recurrent tumors,and provide an important reference for clinical treatment *** A retrospective analysis was performed on 53 patients with upper digestive tract tumors after operation and systemic dynamic ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT imaging indi-cating abnormal FDG uptake by anastomosis,including 29 cases of gastric cancer and 24 cases of esophageal *** to the follow-up results of gas-troscopy and other imaging examinations before and after PET/CT examination,the patients were divided into an anastomotic recurrence group and anastomotic inflammation *** multi-parameter analysis software was used to obtain the metabolic rate(MRFDG),volume of distribution maximum(DVmax)of anastomotic lesions,and MRmean and DVmean of normal liver *** lesion/background ratio(LBR)was calculated by dividing the MRFDG and DVmax of the anastomotic lesion by the MRmean and DVmean of the normal liver tissue,respectively,to obtain LBR-MRFDG and *** independent sample t test was used for statistical analysis,and a receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the differential diagnostic efficacy of each parameter for anastomotic recurrence and *** The dynamic ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT imaging parameters MRFDG,DVmax,LBR-MRFDG,and LBR-DVmax of post
