Energy Management of Price-maker Community Energy Storage by Stochastic Dynamic Programming

In this paper,we propose an analytical stochastic dynamic programming(SDP)algorithm to address the optimal management problem of price-maker community energy storage.As a price-maker,energy storage smooths price differences,thus decreasing energy arbitrage value.However,this price-smoothing effect can result in significant external welfare changes by reduc-ing consumer costs and producer revenues,which is not negligible for the community with energy storage systems.As such,we formulate community storage management as an SDP that aims to maximize both energy arbitrage and community welfare.To incorporate market interaction into the SDP format,we propose a framework that derives partial but sufficient market information to approximate impact of storage operations on market prices.Then we present an analytical SDP algorithm that does not require state discretization.Apart from computational efficiency,another advantage of the analytical algorithm is to guide energy storage to charge/discharge by directly comparing its current marginal value with expected future marginal value.Case studies indicate community-owned energy storage that maximizes both arbitrage and welfare value gains more benefits than storage that maximizes only arbitrage.The proposed algorithm ensures optimality and largely reduces the computational complexity of the standard SDP.Index Terms-Analytical stochastic dynamic programming,energy management,energy storage,price-maker,social welfare.

Serving as targeting ligands,aptamers have shown promise in precision medicine.However,the lack of knowledge of the biosafety and metabolism patterns in the human body largely impeded aptamers’clinical translation.To bridge this gap,here we report the first-in-human pharmacokinetics study of protein tyrosine kinase 7 targeted SGC8 aptamer via in vivo PET tracking of gallium-68(^(68)Ga)radiolabeled aptamers.The specificity and binding affinity of a radiolabeled aptamer,named ^(68)Ga[Ga]-NOTA-SGC8,were maintained as proven in vitro.Further preclinical biosafety and biodistribution evaluation confirmed that aptamers have no biotoxicity,potential mutation risks,or genotoxicity at high dosage(40 mg/kg).Based on this result,a first-in-human clinical trial was approved and carried out to evaluate the circulation and metabolism profiles,as well as biosafety,of the radiolabeled SGC8 aptamer in the human body.Taking advantage of the cutting-edge total-body PET,the aptamers’distribution pattern in the human body was acquired in a dynamic fashion.

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Most near-infrared(NIR) agents used in clinical CRC treatment are at NIR-I(700–900 nm) window, which has limitations on deep tissue, and fluorescent probes in the second NIR(1,000–1,700 nm) allow high-resolution bioimaging with deep tissue penetration. However, existing NIR-II fluorophores used in clinical are still rare. Herein, based on shielding-donor-acceptor-donor-shielding(S-D-A-D-S) scaffold, we developed an organic small-molecule fluorophore IR-BTGP with NIR-II emission for imaging-guided photothermal therapy(PTT) in CRC mice model. Amphiphilic IR-BTGP can be self-assembled into spherical nano-micelles, which presents reliable water solubility and photothermal conversion efficiency(30.2%). In vitro experiments indicate that cancer cells treated with IRBTGP were significantly killed upon 808 nm light irradiation. Furthermore, in vivo NIR-II fluorescence imaging confirms that IR-BTGP accumulates in the tumor region. Remarkably, a significant tumor inhibition rate(78.5%) was observed in tumorbearing mice when treated with IR-BTGP plus 808 nm irradiation. Therefore, this work shows that IR-BTGP holds great promise as an NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided PTT platform for CRC in the future.

Dear Editor,This letter develops a novel method to implement event-triggered optimal control(ETOC) for discrete-time nonlinear systems using parallel control and deep reinforcement learning(DRL), referred to as Deep-ETOC. The developed Deep-ETOC method introduces the communication cost into the performance index through parallel control, so that the developed method enables control systems to learn ETOC policies directly without triggering conditions.

Fixed-Time Antidisturbance Consensus Tracking for Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Matching and Mismatching Disturbances

In this paper,fixed-time consensus tracking for mul-tiagent systems(MASs)with dynamics in the form of strict feed-back affine nonlinearity is addressed.A fixed-time antidistur-bance consensus tracking protocol is proposed,which consists of a distributed fixed-time observer,a fixed-time disturbance observer,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping controller,and the fixed-time stability analysis is conducted by using the Lyapunov theory correspondingly.This paper includes three main improvements.First,a distributed fixed-time observer is developed for each follower to obtain an estimate of the leader’s output by utilizing the topology of the communication network.Second,a fixed-time disturbance observer is given to estimate the lumped disturbances for feedforward compensation.Finally,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping tracking controller with feedforward compensation for lumped disturbances is designed.In order to mitigate the“explosion of complexity”in the tradi-tional backstepping approach,we have implemented a modified nonsmooth command filter to enhance the performance of the closed-loop system.The simulation results show that the pro-posed method is effective.

Plasmonic Gold Chip for Multiplexed Detection of Ovarian Cancer Biomarker in Urine

Human epididymal protein 4(HE4),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and osteopontin(OPN)are three key biomarkers in detecting ovarian cancer.To explore the diagnosis value of combined detection of these three biomarkers for ovarian cancer,we developed a multiplexed assay on a plasmonic gold(pGOLD)platform for measuring HE4,CA125 and OPN in urine.The receiver operator characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn,and the diagnosis values of each biomarker alone or in combination for ovarian cancer were evaluated.In the analysis to distinguish ovarian cancer from other gynecological cancers,ovarian cysts and healthy people,the sensitivities of HE4,CA125 and OPN were 72.55%,52.82%and 68.63%,the specificity values were 95.06%,87.65%and 90.12%,while the areas under the curve(AUC)were 0.85,0.75 and 0.77,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity for combination detection of the three markers were 90.20%and 80.25%.The detection methods of HE4,CA125 and OPN based on plasma fluorescence enhanced chip showed good analytic and diagnostic performance,and provided a non-invasive method for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

Detrital Zircon of Devonian Sandstones in ChangningMenglian Suture Zone, Yunnan, SW China: Implications for the Early Evolution of Paleo-Tethys

The Changning-Menglian suture zone is a critical tectonic belt pivotal to the evolution of the Paleo-Tethys.The Wenquan Formation,characterized as turbidite deposited on the western side of the Changning-Menglian suture zone as well as the eastern edge of the Baoshan Block.Analysis of detrital zircons from the Wenquan Formation reveals two significant age peaks approximately at 440 and 980 Ma,with additional age populations around 600,780,and 2500 Ma.The major age peak at about 440 Ma is come from the andesitic-dominant volcanic arc within the Lancang Block and the western Simao Block,corroborated by the presence of andesite fragments in thin section studies.Meanwhile,the zircons that form the secondary age peak at~980 Ma and other older age groups probably originate from the Baoshan Block.Deposited on the western side of the Paleo-Tethyan ophiolites,the Wenquan Formation received detrital materials from the continental margin on the opposite side.Thus,the main Paleo-Tethyan Ocean basin was not sufficiently broad enough to cut off the transference of detrital materials.It was a relatively narrow basin in the Early Devonian.

In this paper,a new optimal adaptive backstepping control approach for nonlinear systems under deception attacks via reinforcement learning is presented in this paper.The existence of nonlinear terms in the studied system makes it very difficult to design the optimal controller using traditional methods.To achieve optimal control,RL algorithm based on critic–actor architecture is considered for the nonlinear system.Due to the significant security risks of network transmission,the system is vulnerable to deception attacks,which can make all the system state unavailable.By using the attacked states to design coordinate transformation,the harm brought by unknown deception attacks has been overcome.The presented control strategy can ensure that all signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally ultimately bounded.Finally,the simulation experiment is shown to prove the effectiveness of the strategy.

目的探讨下咽癌经口内镜手术中主动解剖提前凝闭喉上动脉的可行性及对手术的影响。方法选择8个动静脉灌注尸头,将咽喉部离体,在内镜视野下解剖观察喉上动脉入喉位置及走行,总结其解剖特点。选取2018年1月至2019年12月于中南大学湘雅二医院耳鼻咽喉头颈外科接受经口内镜手术的29例下咽癌患者,均为男性,年龄39~74岁。通过抽签将纳入的患者随机分为观察组(15例)和对照组(14例),观察组术中主动解剖凝闭喉上动脉。比较2组患者在手术时间、出血量、术后并发症、术后无瘤生存率上的差异。采用SPSS 25.0软件进行统计学分析。结果在内镜视野下标本的喉上动脉入喉点约在甲状软骨上缘水平,于梨状窝外侧壁的后1/3处入喉。手术中观察组病例均能在内镜下探查定位到喉上动脉。观察组患者内镜手术时间[(40.00±7.56)min]短于对照组[(48.57±14.06)min],术中出血量[(24.00±8.28)ml]低于对照组[(42.86±15.41)ml],差异均有统计学意义(t=-2.064,P=0.049;t=-4.064,P=0.001)。观察组术后未发生出血,对照组1例术后出血,2组患者术后均无其他并发症发生。在至少36个月的随访时间中2组无瘤生存率差异无统计学意义(P=0.986),2组总无瘤生存率为86.2%。结论下咽癌经口内镜手术中解剖暴露喉上动脉是可行的,提前处理凝闭喉上动脉可以减少术中出血。
