Objective:To explore Professor yang Suqing’s experience in treating blood stasis syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris and analyze the characteristics of its prescription;Methods:Outpatient prescriptions for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris with blood stasis syndrome were selected and extracted traditional Chinese medicine for standardized processing.Then analyze the data by using set visualization analysis and Apriori algorithm.Results:A total of 149 traditional Chinese herbs were extracted.Among them,and the top 12 commonly used herbs with frequency>30 were Licorice,Saposhnikovia,Schizonepeta tenuifolia,Angelica sinensis,Paeonia lactiflora,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Rehmannia glutinosa,Cicada slough,Oyster and Keel through the set visualization analysis,herbs association rules analysis,and herbs combination analysis.Saposhnikovia,Liquorice,Schizonepeta tenuifolia,Angelica sinensis and Paeonia Alba are the most commonly used combination of herbs by Professor yang Suqing in the treatment of blood stasis syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris.Conclusion:In addition to invigorating blood circulation and removing blood stasis herbs,which are preferred for the treatment of blood stasis syndromes,Saposhnikovia and Schizonepeta tenuifolia,etc.,are used to synergistically exert the functions of invigorating blood circulation and removing blood stasis and eliminating wind expression,with remarkable efficacy.

A multiplicative function f is said to be resembling the Mobius function if f is supported on the square-free integers,and f(p)=±1 for each prime p.We prove O-and Ω-results for the summatory function ∑_(n)≤x f(n)for a class of these f,and the point is that these O-results demonstrate cancellations better than the square-root saving.It is proved in particular that the summatory function is O(x^(1/3+ε))under the Riemann Hypothesis.On the other hand it is proved to be Ω(x^(1/4))unconditionally.It is interesting to compare these with the corresponding results for the Mobius function.

The loading method of the external excitations generated by the equipment directly affects the predicted result of the mechanical noise which should be the same under different excitation forms for the given equipment.In this paper,general load criteria are proposed to define forces/moments as the standard form and convert other forms of loads in the low-frequency domain.As the most typical form to charac-terize equipment excitation,acceleration load loading methods for different conditions are investigated.The equivalent formula between ideal accelerations and generalized forces establishes the first load cri-terion.The second load criterion is proposed to address the issue of an average acceleration loading,in which the phase and amplitude distribution are both absent,and cannot apply to the load identification.The upper and lower limits of the mechanical noise can be determined by the vibroacoustic transfer func-tion of the three load models,and the energy-averaged value is used to represent the mechanical noise.Furthermore,the third criterion is used to handle the case where the acceleration load is given by the results of a bench test.According to the equipment source descriptor invariance,the conversion method is achieved between the bench test and the real ship based on the transfer function of a load model,and the mechanical noise is predicted by an equivalent energy method.Finally,a three-parameter method to quantitatively evaluate the well-fitting of experimental and numerical results,and the load criteria are well validated by underwater acoustic experiments of an experimental model.

To analyze previous experimental data of suspended sediment concentration for silty sediment with different sediment particle sizes due to waves, a new stratification correction coefficient is presented. The suspended sediment concentration gradient and sediment particle diameter are selected as parameters. Furthermore, a diffusion coefficient model with a stratification effect over the whole water depth for silty sediment suspension under waves is developed. The comparison between the suspended sediment concentration calculated by the presented model and several groups of experimental data shows that the model can reasonably reflect the vertical distribution of silty sediment suspension.The stratification effect calculated by the present model decreases with an increase in the sediment particle diameter,which indicates that the model can be extended to describe the suspended sediment concentration of fine to medium sand when the near-bottom sediment concentration is not very high. Although the original model needs to be iteratively solved, the approximate method without iteration is recommended for applications when the near bottom sediment concentration is between 10 and 20 kg/m~3 due to the small difference between the non-iterative and iterative solution for near bed layer suspended sediment concentration, which plays a major role in sediment transport.

Natural gas processing involves the separation of higher hydrocarbons(C2–C3)from methane,which is an important and energy-intensive operation.In this paper,we present a comprehensive study of an innovative copper-based MOF(Cu-MOF)for the separation of propane and ethane from methane.The material exhibits a high adsorption capacity and selectivity for C2–C3 hydrocarbons over methane,which is primarily due to its preferential C2–C3 hydrocarbon adsorption.The adsorption isotherms at ambient conditions showed a remarkable uptake of C_(3)H_(8)of 134.0 cm^(3)/g,as well as excellent selectivity of 204 and 9 for C_(3)H_(8)/CH_(4)and C_(2)H_(6)/CH_(4).According to the theoretical calculations,differences in van der Waals interactions and polarizability of the guest molecules were responsible for influencing separation performance.In addition,we conducted adsorption kinetic experiments,dynamic breakthrough,and cycling experiments to further examine the separation performance.Overall,this research establishes an energy-efficient adsorbent for upgrading natural gas.

Despite overwhelming evidence from large randomized clinical trials supporting a clear benefit of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)lowering therapy on the primary and secondary prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,data from epidemiological and clinical observations demonstrated an increased incidence of hemorrhagic stroke in patients with low LDL-C exposure(<70 mg/dL),especially among East Asians.Meanwhile,emerging studies have reported a paradoxical phenomenon in which hypercholesterolemia is associated with better short-term outcomes in acute coronary syndrome patients,the"lipid paradox."The underlying mechanism for these two closely connected clinical observations is not clear.This review aimed to summarize the evolution and clinical implications of these two low LDL-C related concepts,and proposed a"double-hit"hypothesis that may help explain these phenomena.It is worth noting that in the era of increasing use of high-intensity LDL-C lowering and dual antiplatelet strategies in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in patients receiving percutaneous coronary intervention,balancing the risk of thrombosis with bleeding complication should be a priority in clinical practice.Our hypothesis may raise clinicians’awareness to identify potential high risk patients with low LDL-C(<70 mg/dL),especially among East Asians.

Directed energy deposition-arc(DED-Arc)technology has the advantages of simple equipment,low manufacturing cost and high deposition rate,while the use of DED-Arc has problems of microstructure inhomogeneity,position dependence of macroscopic mechanical properties and anisotropy.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out a subsequent heat treatment to improve its microstructure uniformity,mechanical properties and superelasticity.In this investigation,the DED-Arc 15-layer NiTi alloy thin-walled parts with the solution treatment at different process parameters were studied to analyze the effects of solution heat treatment on microstructure,phase composition,phase transformation,microhardness,tensile and superelasticity.The temperature range of solution treatment is 800-1050℃,and the treatment time range is 1-5.5 h.The results show that after solution treatment at 800℃/1 h,the content of precipitated phase decreases,the grain is refined,the microhardness increases,and the mechanical properties in the 0°direction are improved.The strain recovery rate after 10 tensile cycles has increased from 37.13%(as-built)to 49.25%(solid solution treatment).This research provides an effective post treatment method for high-performance DED-Arc NiTi shape memory alloys.

Penetration Resistance of Skirt-Tip with Rough Base for Suction Caissons in Clay

Suction caissons can readily penetrate into the seabed under the combination of the self-weight and suction resulted from the encased water being increasingly pumped out. During suction-assisted penetration, the equivalent overburden at the skirt-tip level outside the caisson is generally higher than that inside because the vertical stress within the soil plug is reduced by the exerted suction. This may result in a uniform shear stress developing over the base of the skirt-tip as the soil below the skirt-tip tends to move into the caisson, which leads to an asymmetric failure wedge existing below the base of the skirt-tip. Besides, different adhesion factors along the inside(αi) and outside(αo) of the skirt wall will cause asymmetric plastic zones inside and outside the caisson. Accordingly, an asymmetric failure mechanism is therefore proposed to calculate the penetration resistance of the skirt-tip. The proposed failure mechanism is the first to consider the effect of different adhesion factors(αi) and(αo) on the failure mechanism at the skirt-tip, and involves the contribution from the weighted average of equivalent overburdens inside and outside caisson at the skirt-tip level. The required suction pressure can be obtained in terms of force equilibrium of the caisson in a vertical direction. Finally, the asymmetric failure mechanism at the skirt-tip is validated with the FE calculations. By comparing with the measured data, the predictions of the required suction pressure are found to be in good agreement with the experimental results.

Normal tension glaucoma(NTG)is a multifactorial optic neuropathy characterized by normal intraocular pressure,progressive retinal ganglion cell(RGC)death,and glaucomatous visual field loss.Recent studies have described the mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of NTG.In addition to controlling intraocular pressure,neuroprotection and reduction of RGC degeneration may be beneficial therapies for NTG.In this review,we summarized the main regulatory mechanisms of RGC death in NTG,including autophagy,glutamate neurotoxicity,oxidative stress,neuroinflammation,immunity,and vasoconstriction.Autophagy can be induced by retinal hypoxia and axonal damage.In this process,ischemia can cause mutations of optineurin and activate the nuclear factor-kappa B pathway.Glutamate neurotoxicity is induced by the over-stimulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate membrane receptors by glutamate,which occurs in RGCs and induces progressive glaucomatous optic neuropathy.Oxidative stress also participates in NTG-related glaucomatous optic neuropathy.It impairs the mitochondrial and DNA function of RGCs through the apoptosis signal-regulating kinase-JUN N-terminal kinase pathway.Moreover,it increases inflammation and the immune response of RGCs.Endothelin 1 causes endothelial dysfunction and impairment of ocular blood flow,promoting vasospasm and glaucomatous optic neuropathy,as a result of NTG.In conclusion,we discussed research progress on potential options for the protection of RGCs,including TANK binding kinase 1 inhibitors regulating autophagy,N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonists inhibiting glutamate toxicity,ASK1 inhibitors regulating mitochondrial function,and antioxidants inhibiting oxidative stress.In NTG,RGC death is regulated by a network of mechanisms,while various potential targets protect RGCs.Collectively,these findings provide insight into the pathogenesis of NTG and potential therapeutic strategies.

Total Glucosides of Paeony Regulate Immune Imbalance Mediated by Dermal Mesenchymal Stem Cellsin Psoriasis Mice

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of total glucosides of paeony(TGP)on psoriasis based on the immunomodulatory effect of dermal mesenchymal stem cells(DMSCs).Methods A total of 30 male BALB/c mice were divided into 6 groups(n=5 in each)by a random number table method,including control,psoriasis model(model,5%imiquimod cream 42 mg/d),low-,medium-and high-dose TGP(50,100,and 200 mg/kg,L,M-,and H-TGP,respectively),and positive control group(2.5 mg/kg acitretin).After 14 days of continuous administration,the skin’s histopathological changes,apoptosis,secretion of inflammatory cytokines,and proportion of regulatory T cells(Treg)and T helper cell 17(Th17)were evaluated using hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,TdT-mediated dUTP nick end labeling staining,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and flow cytometry,respectively.DMSCs were further isolated from the skin tissues of normal and psoriatic mice,and the cell morphology,phenotype,and cycle were observed.Furthermore,TGP was used to treat psoriatic DMSCs to analyze the effects on the DMSCs immune regulation.Results TGP alleviated skin pathological injury,reduced epidermis layer thickness,inhibited apoptosis,and regulated the secretion of inflammatory cytokines and the proportion of Treg and Th17 in the skin tissues of psoriatic mice(P0.05),however,more psoriatic DMSCs remained in G0/G1 phase compared with the normal DMSCs(P<0.01).TGP treatment of psoriatic DMSCs significantly increased cell viability,decreased apoptosis,relieved inflammatory response,and inhibited the expression of toll-like receptor 4 and P65(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion TGP may exert a good therapeutic effect on psoriasis by regulating the immune imbalance of DMSCs.
