Spintronics,which employs electrons'spin degree of freedom in data storage and transmision,acts as a promising candidate for next-generation information technology owing to its improved processing speed and reduced power *** seek and design materials with highly spin polarized carriers and find an efficient way to control the spin polarization direction of carriers are critical and urgent to spintronics *** this aspect,the bipolar magnetic semiconductor(BMS)serves as an ideal solution since it can generate currents with 100%spin polarization,and the direction of spin polarization is easily tunable by an external gate voltage,Up to now,there have been lots of BMSs predicted by first-principles calculations,however,most of them are extrinsically induced by chemical or physical modifications,and a generalized scheme for designing BMS materials is stil lacking,This paper is aimed to briefly review the existing BMS materials designed by theoretical simulations,analyze the main obstacles to experimental realization,and put forward suggestions for future development.

Exploring two-dimensional(2D)magnetic semiconductors with room-temperature magnetic ordering and electrically controllable spin-polarization is a highly desirable but challenging task for ***,through first-principles calculations,we propose to realize such a material by exfoliating the recently synthesized organometallic layered crystal Li0.7[Cr(pyz)_(2)]Cl0.7·0.25(THF)(pyz=pyrazine,THF=tetrahydrofuran).The feasibility of exfoliation is confirmed by the rather low exfoliation energy of 0.27 J m^(−2),even smaller than that of *** exfoliated Cr(pyz)_(2)monolayers,each pyrazine ring grabs one electron from the Cr atom to become a radical anion,and then a strong d-p direct-exchange magnetic interaction emerges between Cr cations and pyrazine radicals,resulting in room-temperature ferrimagnetism with a Curie temperature of 342 ***,the Cr(pyz)_(2)monolayer is revealed to be an intrinsic bipolar magnetic semiconductor where electrical doping can induce half-metallic conduction with controllable spin-polarization direction.

Presently,interfacial solar water evaporation(ISWE)is now injecting new vitality into the field of water ***,during the ISWE process,the nonvolatile pollutants might be concentrated in residual water,and further contaminate the *** advanced photothermal materials is in need to get comprehensive purification of various pollutants in residual ***,we report a facile laser thermal method to prepare Cu_(2−x)S/sulfur/reduced graphene oxide(Cu_(2−x)S/S/rGO)nanocomposites for realizing all-round residual water remediation during the ISWE *** as-prepared Cu2−xS/S/rGO nanocomposites demonstrated excellent photothermal and photocatalytic *** blending with GO nanosheets having excellent adsorption capacity,the synergetic effect of photothermal,photocatalytic,and adsorption properties resulted in highly efficient purification of rhodamine B,bacterial,and heavy metal ions in residual water during the ISWE *** experimental results also showed that,increasing solar light intensity can promote the residual water remediation,but ultrafast water evaporation under high light intensity may deteriorate the purifying *** report may pave a new way to prepare multifunctional materials for water remediation through the ISWE technology.

Efficient interlayer charge release for high-performance layered thermoelectrics

Many layered superlattice materials intrinsically possess large Seebeck coefficient and low lattice thermal conductivity, but poor electrical conductivity because of the interlayer transport barrier for charges, which has become a stumbling block for achieving high thermoelectric performance. Herein, taking Bi Cu Se O superlattice as an example, it is demonstrated that efficient interlayer charge release can increase carrier concentration, thereby activating multiple Fermi pockets through Bi/Cu dual vacancies and Pb *** results reveal that the extrinsic charges, which are introduced by Pb and initially trapped in the charge-reservoir [BiO]sublayers, are effectively released into [CuSe]sublayers via the channels bridged by Bi/Cu dual vacancies. This efficient interlayer charge release endows dual-vacancy-and Pb-codoped Bi Cu Se O with increased carrier concentration and electrical conductivity. Moreover, with increasing carrier concentration, the Fermi level is pushed down, activating multiple converged valence bands, which helps to maintain a relatively high Seebeck coefficient and yield an enhanced power factor. As a result, a high ZT value of 1.4 is achieved at 823 K in codoped BiPbCuSeO, which is superior to that of pristine Bi Cu Se O and solely doped samples. The present findings provide prospective insights into the exploration of high-performance thermoelectric materials and the underlying transport physics.

The order–disorder transition(ODT)of A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)compounds obtained enormous attention owing to the potential application for thermal barrier coating(TBC)*** this work,the influence of ODT on the mechanical and thermophysical properties of dual-phase A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)high-entropy ceramics was investigated by substituting Ce^(4+)and Hf^(4+)with different ionic radii on B-sites(Zr^(4+)).The X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman,and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)results show that rA3+/rB^(4+)=1.47 is the critical value of ODT phase boundary with different doping B-site ion contents,and the energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)results further indicate the uniform distribution of ***,owing to the high intrinsic disorder derived from high-entropy effect,the A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)high-entropy ceramics exhibit unreduced modulus(E0≈230 GPa)and enhanced mechanical properties(HV≈10 GPa,KIC≈2.3 MPa·m^(0.5)).A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)high-entropy ceramics exhibit excellent thermal stability with relatively high thermal expansion coefficients(TECs)(Hf_(0.25),11.20×10-6 K-1,1000℃).Moreover,the matching calculation implied that the ODT further enhances the phonon scattering coefficient,leading to a relatively lower thermal conductivity of(La_(0.25)Eu_(0.25)Gd_(0.25)Yb_(0.25))2(Zr_(0.85)Ce_(0.15))_(2)O_(7)(1.48–1.51 W/(m·K),100–500℃)compared with other *** present work provides a novel composition design principle for high-entropy ceramics,as well as a material selection rule for high-temperature insulation applications.

Mytilus galloprovincialis is a major fouling organism in the inter-tidal ***,the interactions between *** plantigrade settlement,biofilm characteristics,and surface wettability remains ***,we examined *** plantigrade settlement responses to marine biofilms(BFs)on surfaces of varying *** significant difference in mussel settlement was observed on young BFs(7 d)on surfaces of differing wettability;while settlement decreased on older BFs(14,21,and 28 d)formed on low compared to high wettability *** wettability affected BF *** standardized harmonic mean and water contact angles values were not correlated with diatom density and chlorophyll a concentration,but were correlated with bacterial density,dry weight,and *** gradient gel electrophoresis revealed that bacterial community structure differed on BFs on surfaces of varying ***,surface wettability affects biofilm characteristics,and the subsequent changes in BF characteristics may be responsible for the variation in biofilm-inducing activity of *** plantigrade settlement.

γδT细胞识别靶细胞表面不依赖于主要组织相容性复合体(MHC)分子呈递的抗原,高效杀伤靶细胞且不引起移植物抗宿主病(GvHD),作为细胞平台在同种异体CAR细胞疗法开发中具有良好的应用前景。慢病毒(Lentivirus)载体是CAR-T细胞制备中常用的基因递送手段,为实现γδT细胞中基于慢病毒载体的高效基因递送,本研究探索能够提高慢病毒滴度以及γδT细胞慢病毒感染效率的小分子药物。结果表明:组蛋白去乙酰化酶抑制剂M344和微管抑制剂Nocodazole可有效提高慢病毒滴度,其中当浓度为0.625μmol/L时,M344可提高慢病毒滴度至2倍以上。TBK1/IKK epsilon抑制剂BX-795可提高γδT细胞中慢病毒感染效率,当感染复数(MOI)为5时,BX-795可将感染效率从3.5%提升至10.7%,且未产生细胞毒性作用。本研究将为γδT细胞中基于慢病毒载体的基因递送优化提供一种新的策略,进一步推动γδT细胞在同种异体CAR细胞研究中的应用。

从环境社会学的视角看,日本核污水排海本质上是一个生态系统(海洋生态风险)与社会系统(全球危机管控)之间互生的环境问题,其本身彰显了全球环境安全失控的可能性,即这一“不应该”发生的行动最终反而得以实施。注重于行动实现的可能性及其后果的风险性分析的既有研究路径难以解释这一现象。通过环境问题的系统转化传导过程可以发现,日本利用制度博弈、技术理性和感知建构及其相应的策略集合,为其排海行动建构了法理、程序和意识形态的“合法性”。而从治理的角度看,日本核污水排海的“合法性”建构机制内嵌的三种“合法性”危机——规则缝隙、信任危机和认知操纵,又是导致当前全球环境治理的“治危孪生”这一内在矛盾的主要因素。
