When the Cassini spacecraft finally plunged into the Saturnian atmosphere on 2017 September15,China’s deep space telescope pointed to Saturn to observe Cassini and study the Saturnian upper neutral *** this first Chinese Saturnian radio science experiment,X band Doppler velocity radio science data between the deep space telescope and the Cassini spacecraft were *** removing Saturnian and solar gravity effects,Earth rotation effect,the remaining Saturnian atmosphere drag information was retrieved in the Cassini final plunge ***’s upper neutral atmosphere mass density profile is approximately estimated based on atmosphere mass density derived principally by real orbit measurement ***’s upper neutral atmosphere mass density from 76000 km to 1400 km is estimated from the orbit measurement data,the mass density results are about from 1.4×10^-15 kg cm^-3 to 2.5×10^-14 kg cm^-3.

In GaN-based green light-emitting diodes（LEDs） with different green quantum well numbers grown on Si（111）substrates by metal organic chemical vapor deposition are investigated. It is observed that V-shaped pits appear in the AFM images with the green quantum well number increasing from 5 to 9, and results in larger reverse-bias leakage current. Meanwhile, in the case of the sample with the number from 5 to 7 then to 9, the external quantum efficiency increases firstly, and then decreases. These phenomena may be related to the size of V-shaped pits in the active area and the distribution of electrons and holes in the active area caused by V-shaped pits. The optimal number of green quantum wells is determined to be 7.

An ongoing randomized,double-blind,controlled phase 2 trial was conducted to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a mosaic-type recombinant vaccine candidate,named NVSI-06-09,as a booster dose in subjects aged 18 years and older from the United Arab Emirates(UAE),who had administered two or three doses of inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV at least 6 months prior to *** participants were randomly assigned with 1:1 to receive a booster dose of NVSI-06-09 or *** primary outcomes were immunogenicity and safety against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant,and the exploratory outcome was cross-immunogenicity against other circulating *** May 25 and 30,2022,516 adults received booster vaccination with 260 in NVSI-06-09 group and 256 in BBIBP-CorV *** results showed a similar safety profile between two booster groups,with low incidence of adverse reactions of grade 1 or *** immunogenicity,by day 14 post-booster,the fold rises in neutralizing antibody geometric mean titers(GMTs)from baseline elicited by NVSI-06-09 were remarkably higher than those by BBIBP-CorV against the prototype strain(19.67 vs 4.47-fold),Omicron BA.1.1(42.35 vs 3.78-fold),BA.2(25.09 vs 2.91-fold),BA.4(22.42 vs 2.69-fold),and BA.5 variants(27.06 vs 4.73-fold).Similarly,the neutralizing GMTs boosted by NVSI-06-09 against Beta and Delta variants were also 6.60-fold and 7.17-fold higher than those by *** findings indicated that a booster dose of NVSI-06-09 was well-tolerated and elicited broad-spectrum neutralizing responses against divergent SARS-CoV-2 variants,including Omicron and its sub-lineages.

Objectives:To develop a new Chinese medicine(CM)-based drug and to evaluate its safety and effect for suppressing acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)in COVID-19 ***:A putative ARDS-suppressing drug Keguan-1 was first developed and then evaluated by a randomized,controlled two-arm *** two arms of the trial consist of a control therapy(alpha interferon inhalation,50(x g twice daily;and lopinavir/ritonavir,400 and 100 mg twice daily,respectively)and a testing therapy(control therapy plus Keguan-119.4 g twice daily)by random number table at 1:1 ratio with 24 cases each *** 2-week treatment,adverse events,time to fever resolution,ARDS development,and lung injury on newly diagnosed COVID-19 patients were ***:An analysis of the data from the first 30 participants showed that the control arm and the testing arm did not exhibit any significant differences in terms of adverse *** on this result,the study was expanded to include a total of 48 participants(24 cases each arm).The results show that compared with the control arm,the testing arm exhibited a significant improvement in time to fever resolution(P=0.035),and a significant reduction in the development of ARDS(P=0.048).Conclusions:Keguan-1-based integrative therapy was safe and superior to the standard therapy in suppressing the development of ARDS in COVID-19 patients.(Trial registration *** 04251871 at ***).

Observing a telluric standard star for correcting the telluric absorption lines of spectrum will take a significant amount of precious telescope time,especially in the long-term spectral monitoring *** that,it is difficult to select a suitable telluric standard star near in both time and airmass to the scientific *** this paper,we present a method of correcting the telluric absorption lines by combining the advantages of long slit *** rotating the slit,we observed the scientific object and a nearby comparison star in one exposure,so that the spectra of both objects should have the same telluric transmission *** telluric transmission spectrum was constructed by dividing the observed spectrum of the comparison star by its stellar template,and was used to correct the telluric absorption lines of the scientific *** the long slit spectrograph of the lijiang 2.4-meter telescope,we designed a long-term spectroscopic observation strategy,and finished a four-year spectroscopic monitoring for a pair of objects(an active galactic nucleus and a non-varying comparison star).We applied this method to correct the telluric absorption lines of the long-term monitored spectra by the lijiang 2.4-meter telescope,and investigated the variation of the telluric absorptions at lijiang *** found that the telluric absorption transparency is mainly modulated by the seasonal variability of the relative humidity,airmass and *** the scatter of the [O Ⅲ] λ5007 fluxes emitted from the narrow-line region of active galactic nuclei as an indicator,we found that the correction accuracy of the telluric absorption lines is 1%.

BACKGROUND: The non-function and dysfunction of primary liver graft likely involves dependence on Kupffer cells and hepatic innervation. The present experiment was designed to study the expression of P-selectin and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) mRNA in liver graft and to elucidate the role of Kupffer cells and the sympathetic nerve of the liver in down-regulating this expression. METHODS: Donor rats were given hexamethonium, a sympathetic ganglionic blocking agent, and/or gadolinium chloride, an inhibitor of Kupffer cells. Then the changes of graft P-selectin and ICAM-1 mRNA expression were measured after liver transplantation. RESULTS: The expressions of P-selectin and ICAM-1 mRNA were increased after liver transplantation, and down-regulated by liver denervation and elimination of Kupffer cells. CONCLUSIONS: live donor denervation and elimination of Kupffer cells down-regulated the expressions of P-selectin and ICAM-1 mRNA in grafts. This may decrease graft ischemia/reperfusion injury.

BACKGROUND There is a controversy as to whether laparoscopic surgery leads to a poor prognosis compared to the open approach for early gallbladder carcinoma (GBC)We hypothesized that the laparoscopic approach is an alternative for early *** To identify and evaluate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of early *** A comprehensive search of online databases,including MEDliNE (PubMed),Cochrane libraries,and Web of Science,was performed to identify noncomparative studies reporting the outcomes of laparoscopic surgery and comparative studies involving laparoscopic surgery and open surgery in early GBC from January 2009 to October 2019.A fixed-effects meta-analysis was performed for 1-and 5-year overall survival and postoperative complications,while 3-year overall survival,operation time,blood loss,the number of lymph node dissected,and postoperative hospital stay were analyzed by random-effects *** The review identified 7 comparative studies and 8 non-comparative studies.1068 patients (laparoscopic surgery:613;open surgery:455) were included in the meta-analysis of 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival with no significant differences observed [(HR=0.54;95%CI:0.29-1.00;12=0.0%;P=0.051),(HR=0.75;95%CI:0.34-1.65;I^2=60.7%;P=0.474),(HR=0.71;95%CI:0.47-1.08;I^2=49.6%;P=0.107),respectively].There were no significant differences in operation time[weighted mean difference (WMD)=18.69;95%CI:-19.98-57.36;I^2=81.4%;P=0.343],intraoperative blood loss (WMD=-169.14;95%CI:-377.86-39.57;I2=89.5%;P=0.112),the number of lymph nodes resected (WMD=0.12;95%CI:-2.95-3.18;I^2=73.4%;P=0.940),and the complication rate (OR=0.69;95%CI:0.30-1.58;I2=0.0%;P=0.377) between the two groups,while patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery had a reduced length of hospital stay (WMD=-5.09;95%CI:-8.74--1.45;I2=91.0%;P=0.006).CONCLUSION This systematic review and meta-analysis confirms that laparoscopic surgery is a safe and feasible alternative to open sur

BACKGROUND Bilioenteric Roux-en-Y anastomosis is one of the most complicated approaches for reconstructing the gastrointestinal tract, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is technically challenging in patients after bilioenteric Roux-en-Y anastomosis. The optimal endoscopic strategies for such cases remain unknown. AIM To explore the feasibility and effectiveness of single balloon enteroscopy-assisted (SBE-assisted) therapeutic ERCP in patients after bilioenteric Roux-en-Y anastomosis based on multi-disciplinary collaboration between endoscopists and surgeons as well as report the experience from China. METHODS This is a single center retrospective study. All of the SBE-assisted therapeutic ERCP procedures were performed by the collaboration between endoscopists and surgeons. The operation time, success rate, and complication rate were calculated. RESULTS Forty-six patients received a total of 64 SBE-assisted therapeutic ERCP procedures, with successful scope intubation in 60 (93.8%) cases and successful diagnosis in 59 (92.2%). All successfully diagnosed cases received successful therapy. None of the cases had perforation or bleeding during or after operation, and no post-ERCP pancreatitis occurred. CONCLUSION Based on multi-disciplinary collaboration, SBE-assisted therapeutic ERCP in patients after bilioenteric Roux-en-Y anastomosis is relatively safe and effective and has a high success rate.
