Microscopic damage mechanism of SA508 Gr3 steel in ultra-high temperature creep

The lower head of reactor pressure vessel （RPV） will endure a great temperature gradient above the phase transition temperature, and the creep and fracture will be the primary failure mode for the RPV material in such a situation. The interrupted creep tests were performed on a typical RPV material, SA508 Gr3 steel, at 800 ℃. The microstructure of different creep stages was examined by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that the microscopic damage is mainly induced by creep cavities and coarse second-phase particles. Furthermore, the volume fractions of creep cavities and coarse second-phase particles show a linear relationship with the extended creep time. The second-phase particles are determined to be MoC in the second creep stage and Mo2C in the third creep stage, according to the results of selected-area electron diffraction pattern. Combined with energy-dispersive spectrum analysis, the segregation of precipitates caused by the migration of atoms is finally unveiled, which leads to the coarsening of the particles.

Employing the quasi-classical trajectory method and the potential energy surface of Panda and Sathyamurhy [Panda A N and Sathyamurthy N 2004 J. Chem. Phys. 121 9343], the effect of the reagent vibration on vector correlation of the ion-molecule reactions D- ＋ H2 and H- ＋ D2 is studied at a collision energy of 35.7 kcal/mol. Four generalized polarization-dependent differential cross sections （2π/σ）（dσ00/dωt）, （2π/σ）（dσ20/dσ20）, （27π/σ）（dσ22＋/dwt）, and （2π/σ）（dπ/σ） are presented in the centre-of-mass reference frame, separately. At the same time, the effects on the product angular distributions P（θr）, P（~r） and P（Oφ） of the title reactions are also analysed. The calculated results show that the scattering tendencies of the product HD, the alignment and the orientation of j^1 sensitively depend on reagent molecule vibration.

It is well known that the potential curve of ground state for almost all neutral diatomic molecules has only one ***,the doubly charged diatomic ions may have both potential minimum and maximum or singly repulsive *** order to describe the potential of this kind of diatomic ions,two of the authors Zhu and Wang have proposed a new analytical potential function with four parameters ai(i=l,...,4),andρ=R-R_(min) for those with both minimum and maximum,andρ=R for those with singly repulsive *** present work has derived this new potential function for HBe^(2+)with R_(min)=0.182 nm,R_(max)=0.335 nm andΔE=E_(max)-E_(min)=0.84 eV,and for HBe2+with R_(min)=0.147 nm,R_(max)=0.185 nm andΔE=E_(max)-E_(min)=0.062 *** is found that the potential for HF^(2+)is one with singly repulsive *** dissociation limits,parameters ai(i=1,...,4),force constants and spectroscopic data of these ions all are given out.

The development of thrombus on the tricuspid valve is very rare. This report describes a case of acute pulmonary embolism （PE） with a mass on the tricuspid valve in a normal heart, detected by bedside transthoracic echocardiography （TTE）. After successful surgical management, the histopathological examination revealed the mass from the tricuspid valve to be mixed thrombus. The early use of bedside TTE can facilitate the prompt diagnosis and aggressive therapy when PE is suspected.

Vector correlations between products and reagents of the reaction C+CH and the isotopic variant reactions are calculated by employing the quasi-classical trajectory method based on the adiabatically 1^(2)A" double−many-body-expansion potential-energy surface computed and numerically fitted by Boggio-Pasqua et *** normalized polarization-dependent differential cross-sections and the distributions of P(θr),P(φr)and P(θr,φr)at the selected collision energy are discussed in *** values of the product rotational alignment parameter{P_(2)(j'⋅k)}are also calculated and plotted as functions of the collision energy in the range 0.005–0.5 *** computed results show that the rotational polarizations of the product present pronounced different characters as the mass substituted atom increasing.

Vector correlation between reagents and products for the reaction Ne＋H＋ →＋NeH＋＋H is studied using quasi- classical trajectory method at different collision energies on a new surface constructed by Lv et al.[J. Chem. Phys. 132 （2010） 014303] The results of angular distributions P（θr） and P（φr） show that the product rotational angular momentum is not only aligned, but also oriented along the direction perpendicular to the scattering plane. The four polarization-dependent generalized differential cross sections show that the scatting＂ direction of product Nell＋ is significantly affected by the collision energy.

Blades are one of the important components on aircraft *** they break due to vibration failure,the normal operation of the entire engine will be ***,it is necessary to measure their natural frequency before installing them on the engine to avoid *** present,most blade vibration testing systems require manual operation by operators,which has high requirements for operators and the testing process is also very ***,the testing efficiency is low and cannot meet the needs of efficient *** solve the current problems of low testing efficiency and high operational requirements,a high-precision and high-efficiency automatic test system is *** testing accuracy of this system can reach ±1%,and the testing efficiency is improved by 37% compared to manual ***,the influence of compression force and vibration exciter position on natural frequency test is analyzed by amplitude-frequency curve,so as to calibrate servo cylinder and fourdimensional motion ***,the sine wave signal is used as the excitation to sweep the blade linearly,and the natural frequency is determined by the amplitude peak in the frequency ***,the accuracy experiment and efficiency experiment are carried out on the developed test system,whose results verify its high efficiency and high precision.
