The photocatalytic decontamination of organic pollutants is an environmentally friendly and efficient water treatment *** introduction of vacancies,heterojunctions,and doping can enhance the performance of photocatalysts for such *** this study,N,O double-vacancy Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts were prepared,It is found that the electron separation and transfer efficiencies are considerably improved by the presence of nitrogen vacancies in graphitic ca rbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))and oxygen vacancies in ZnO,in addition to the S-scheme heterojunction created between the two *** the degradation of methylene blue and ciprofloxacin,the degradation rates exhibited by Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)are significantly higher than those of the g=C_(3)N_(4)/ZnO *** remarkable photocatalytic performance of Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)may result from three key factors;(ⅰ)Ce doping,which produces impurity energy levels;(ⅱ)the generation of electron capture centres by the N and O vacancies;and(ⅲ)the synergistic effect of the S-type heterojunction formed at the interface between the two materials,This study therefore provides new approaches for the use of doping,vacancies,and heterojunctions to induce the efficient degradation of organic pollutants.

Single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNP） of chicken gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor （GnRHR） and neuropeptide Y （NPY） were selected to identify the genotypes of Wenchang （Chinese indigenous breed） chicken with restricton fragment length polymorphisms. The associations of the SNPs with the total egg production （NE）, average days of continual laying （ADCL）, and number of double-yolked eggs （DYE） traits were analyzed. The frequency of restriction enzyme A/a alleles in the population was for GnRHR 0.69 （Bpu1102 Ⅰ A） and 0.31 （Bpu1102 Ⅰ a） and for NPY 0.46 （Dra Ⅰ B） and 0.54 （Dra Ⅰ b）. Trait data from a total of 120 hens, which were purebred introduced from Hainan Province, China from one generation were recorded. Two significant effects of genes＇ marker were found： for GnRHR and number of eggs （dominant; t= 2.67, df= 116） and NPY and number of eggs （additive; t= 1.97, df= 116）. The current research supports the effects of GnRHR and NPY genes on egg-laying traits of chickens.

Severely immunosuppressed AIDS patients with recurrent opportunistic infections(Ols)represent an unmet medical need even in the era of antiretroviral therapy(ART).Here we report the development of a human leukocyte antigen(HLA)-mismatched allogeneic adaptive immune therapy(AAIT)for severely immunosuppressed AIDS *** severely immunosuppressed AIDS patients with severe Ols were enrolled in this single-arm *** donors received subcutaneous recombinant granulocyte-colony-stimulating factor twice daily for 4-5 days to stimulate *** blood mononuclear cells were collected from these donors via leukapheresis and transfused into the coupled ***,immunological,and virological parameters were monitored during a 12-month follow-up *** found AAIT combined with ART was safe and well-tolerated at the examined doses and transfusion regimen in all 12 *** in clinical symptoms were evident throughout the study *** patients exhibited a steady increase of peripheral CD4^(+)T cells from a median 10.5 to 207.5 cells/μ*** increase in peripheral CD8^(+)T-cell count from a median 416.5 to 1206.5 cells/μl was found in the first 90 days since initiation of *** addition,their inflammatory cytokine levels and HIV RNA viral load decreased.A short-term microchimerism with donor cells was *** were no adverse events associated with graft-versus-host disease throughout the study ***,AAIT treatment was safe,and might help severely immunosuppressed AIDS patients to achieve a better immune restoration.A further clinical trial with control is necessary to confirm the efficacy of AAIT medication.

The yellow seed trait is preferred by breeders for its potential to improve the seed quality and commercial value of Brassica *** the present study,we produced yellow seed mutants using a CRISPR/Cas9 system when the two BnPAP2 homologs were knocked *** staining of the seed coat demonstrated that proanthocyanidin accumulation was significantly reduced in the pap2 double mutants and decreased specifically in the endothelial and palisade layer cells of the seed *** and metabolite profiling analysis suggested that disruption of the BnPAP2 genes could reduce the expression of structural and regulated genes in the phenylpropanoid and flavonoid biosynthetic *** broad suppression of these genes might hinder proanthocyanidin accumulation during seed development,and thereby causing the yellow seed trait in *** results indicate that BnPAP2 might play a vital role in the regulatory network controlling proanthocyanidin accumulation.

Chiral chemicals have attracted significant interest in the pharmaceutical industry,yet the separation methods to get pure enantiomers from racemic mixture are still *** date,the separation of enantiomers still mainly depends on chromatography using high-cost chiral stationary ***,wood channels were used as the handheld integrated device,and enantiomer separation was simultaneously detected using an electrochemical *** this method,a chiral UIO-66(L-UIO-66)modified enantiomer separation zone and carbonized wood based online detection zone are integrated along a single wood *** on the in situ separation results from the chronoamperometry data,the wood device shows excellent separation ability for a wide range of electrochemically active enantiomers,including 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine,amino acids,ascorbic acid,carnitine,and penicillamine with high chirality *** unbiased molecular dynamic simulations indicate that the excellent chiral recognition and separation are attributed to the different barriers from the bound states to the dissociated state of the enantiomers in the homochiral microenvironment of the *** integrated enantiomer separation-electrochemical detection device provides a novel,easy,and low-cost platform for the separation of pure enantiomer from racemic mixture.

On the basis of computational fluid dynamics,the flow field characteristics of multi-trophic artificial reefs,including the flow field distribution features of a single reef under three different velocities and the effect of spacing between reefs on flow scale and the flow state,were *** indicate upwelling,slow flow,and eddy around a single *** velocity,height,and volume of upwelling in front of a single reef were positively correlated with inflow *** length and volume of slow flow increased with the increase in inflow *** were present both inside and backward,and vorticity was positively correlated with inflow *** between reefs had a minor influence on the maximum velocity and height of *** the increase in space from 0.5 L to 1.5 L(L is the reef lehgth),the length of slow flow in the front and back of the combined reefs increased *** the space was 2.0 L,the length of the slow flow *** four different spaces,eddies were present inside and at the back of each *** maximum vorticity was negatively correlated with space from 0.5 L to 1.5 L,but under 2.0 L space,the maximum vorticity was close to the vorticity of a single reef under the same inflow velocity.

The ever-growing energy demand and environmental issues have stimulated the development of sustainable energy ***,an efficient and environmentally friendly electrochemical transformation technology was proposed to prepare highly graphitized carbon materials from an abundant natural resource-lignin （LG）.The preparation process mainly includes pyrolytic carbonization of raw LG material and electrochemical conversion of amorphous carbon ***,with the assistance of Co catalyst,the graphitization degree of the products was significantly improved,in which the mechanism was the removal of heteroatoms in LG and the rearrangement of carbon atoms into graphite ***,tunable microstructures （nanoflakes） under catalytic effects could also be observed by controlling the electrolytic *** with the products CN1 （without catalyst） and CN5 （with 10%catalyst）,the specific surface area are 158.957 and202.246 m2g-1,*** used as the electrode material for lithium-ion batteries,CN5 delivered a competitive specific capacity of～350 m Ah g-1（0.5 C） compared with commercial *** strategy proposed in this work provides an effective way to extract value-added graphite materials from lignin and can be extended to the graphitization conversion of any other amorphous carbon precursor materials.

Facial expression recognition(FER)is still challenging due to the small interclass discrepancy in facial expression *** view of the significance of facial crucial regions for FER,many existing studies utilize the prior information from some annotated crucial points to improve the performance of ***,it is complicated and time-consuming to manually annotate facial crucial points,especially for vast wild expression *** on this,a local non-local joint network is proposed to adaptively enhance the facial crucial regions in feature learning of FER in this *** the proposed method,two parts are constructed based on facial local and non-local information,where an ensemble of multiple local networks is proposed to extract local features corresponding to multiple facial local regions and a non-local attention network is addressed to explore the significance of each local *** particular,the attention weights obtained by the non-local network are fed into the local part to achieve interactive feedback between the facial global and local ***,the non-local weights corresponding to local regions are gradually updated and higher weights are given to more crucial ***,U-Net is employed to extract the integrated features of deep semantic information and low hierarchical detail information of expression ***,experimental results illustrate that the proposed method achieves more competitive performance than several state-of-the-art methods on five benchmark datasets.

Chromium plays a vital role in stainless steel due to its ability to improve the corrosion resistance of the ***,the re-lease of chromium from stainless steel slag(SSS)during SSS stockpiling causes detrimental environmental *** prevent chromium pollution,the effects of iron oxide on crystallization behavior and spatial distribution of spinel were investigated in this *** results revealed that FeO was more conducive to the growth of spinels compared with Fe2O3 and *** were found to be mainly distrib-uted at the top and bottom of *** amount of spinel phase at the bottom decreased with the increasing FeO content,while that at the top *** average particle size of spinel in the slag with 18wt%FeO content was 12.8μ***,no notable structural changes were observed with a further increase in FeO *** other words,the spatial distribution of spinel changed when the content of iron oxide varied in the range of 8wt%to 18wt%.Finally,less spinel was found at the bottom of slag with a FeO content of 23wt%.
