As the largest intermontane basin in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau(TP),the Qaidam Basin provides unique insight into paleoclimatic change and its relationship with global change and uplift on the *** this study,based on morphological comparison,fossil fruit of Cyclocarya from the Early Oligocene Shangganchaigou Formation in the Qaidam Basin is assigned as Cyclocarya *** discovery of Cyclocarya *** demonstrates the occurrence of Cyclocarya in the Oligocene sediment in Qaidam *** is the first record of Cyclocarya fossil of Early Oligocene Age in China and indicates that Cyclocarya has existed on the northeastern TP since at least the Early *** living analogues of the current fossil now lives in sub-tropical China,where the East Asian Monsoon is *** the new fossils and previously reported fossil remains of plants and fishes,it can be inferred that the Early Oligocene Qaidam Basin was primarily influenced by westerly circulation and had a relatively warm and humid climate,which was in sharp contrast to the present-day climate in Qaidam Basin.

Establishing entanglement is an essential task of quantum communication *** entanglement,quantum discord,as a measure of quantum correlation,is a necessary prerequisite to the success of entanglement *** realize efficient quantum communication based on quantum discord,in this paper,we consider the practical advantages of continuous variables and propose a feasible continuous-variable quantum network coding scheme based on quantum *** means of entanglement distribution by separable states,it can achieve quantum entanglement distribution from sources to targets in a butterfly *** with the representative discrete-variable quantum network coding schemes,the proposed continuous-variable quantum network coding scheme has a higher probability of entanglement distribution and defends against eavesdropping and forgery ***,the deduced relationship indicates that the increase in entanglement is less than or equal to quantum discord.

传统周期模式挖掘忽略了模式本身的相关性和时效性,导致获取到一些实用价值有限的弱相关且时效性较低的模式。因此,提出了新颖的基于时效性和相关性约束的周期模式挖掘方法(correlation and recency periodic frequent pattern-breadth first search,CRPFP-BFS)和(correlation and recency periodic frequent pattern-depth first search,CRPFP-DFS)。将给定的数据库压缩到一个列式结构的列表CRPFP-List中,CRPFP-BFS和CRPFP-DFS分别采用广度优先和深度优先搜索方式递归地进行挖掘,同时利用支持度、周期、时效性以及相关性剪枝策略减少搜索空间,以有效地发现相关时效周期模式。与当前最先进算法在密集数据集和稀疏数据集上进行对比实验,结果表明CRPFP-BFS和CRPFP-DFS具有较低的内存占用和更高的运行效率,并且具有良好的可扩展性,其中CRPFP-DFS适合于内存要求严格的情况,CRPFP-BFS在长事务稀疏数据集下的运行效率更高。

为解决低配电动车型缺少直接的道路坡度信息问题,提出基于现有控制器局域网(CAN)总线信号的路面坡度估计算法。首先,对总线输入的车速和纵向加速度信号进行预处理,并根据坡度与车速、纵向加速度间的关系构建卡尔曼滤波方程,估算道路坡度;然后,分析卡尔曼滤波过程中噪声方差参数对坡度估算结果的影响,设计自适应调参的卡尔曼滤波器,对坡度估计结果进行优化;最后,通过实车测试验证了坡度估计算法的实时性与有效性。

Flooding attack and defence in Ad hoc networks

Mobile ad hoc networks are particularly vulnerable to denial of service （DOS） attacks launched through compromised nodes or intruders. In this paper, we present a new DOS attack and its defense in ad hoc networks. The new DOS attack, called AA hoc Flooding Attack（AHFA）, is that intruder broadcasts mass Route Request packets to exhaust the communication bandwidth and node resource so that the valid communication can not be kept. After analyzed AM hoc Flooding Attack, we develop Flooding Attack Prevention （FAP）, a genetic defense against the AM hoc Flooding Attack. When the intruder broadcasts exceeding packets of Route Request, the immediate neighbors of the intruder record the rate of Route Request. Once the threshold is exceeded, nodes deny any future request packets from the intruder. The results of our implementation show FAP can prevent the AM hoe Flooding attack efficiently.

Ultrasensitive terahertz metamaterial sensor based on vertical split ring resonators

An ultrasensitive metamaterial sensor based on double-slot vertical split ring resonators(DVSRRs) is designed and numerically calculated in the terahertz frequency. This DVSRR design produces a fundament LC resonance with a quality factor of about 20 when the incidence magnetic field component normal to the DVSRR array. The resonant characteristics and sensing performance of the DVSRR array design are systematically analyzed employing a contrast method among three similar vertical split ring resonator(SRRs) structures. The research results show that the elimination of bianisotropy, induced by the structural symmetry of the DVSRR design, helps to achieve LC resonance of a high quality factor. Lifting the SRRs up from the substrate sharply reduces the dielectric loss introduced by the substrate. All these factors jointly result in superior sensitivity of the DVSRR to the attributes of analytes. The maximum refractive index sensitivity is 788 GHz/RIU or 1.04 × 10~5 nm∕***, the DVSRR sensor maintains its superior sensing performance for fabrication tolerance ranging from -4% to 4% and wide range incidence angles up to 50° under both TE and TM illuminations.

Design and control of a middle-vessel batch distillation for separating DMC–EMC–DEC mixture

In this paper, the mixture of dimethyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate and diethyl carbonate was separated by middle-vessel batch distillation with feeding in middle-vessel and process control characteristics were researched. The steady state simulation results in Aspen Plus were exported to Aspen Dynamics. Then control effect of liquid level control with HighSelector, composition control(structure1, structure2) and temperature control(proportional action, proportional integration action) were proposed. Composition control structure 2 and temperature control with PI action were investigated to achieve a good control effect.

Modeling the application of train operation adjustment actions to recover from delays is of great importance to supporting the decision-making of *** this study,the effects of two train operation adjustment actions on train delay recovery were explored using train operation records from scheduled and actual train ***,the modeling data were sorted to extract the possible influencing factors under two typical train operation adjustment actions,namely the compression of the train dwell time at stations and the compression of the train running time in *** regression methods were then employed to determine the importance of the influencing factors corresponding to the train delay recovery time,namely the delay time,the scheduled supplement time,the running interval,the occurrence time,and the place where the delay occurred,under the two train operation adjustment ***,the gradient-boosted regression tree(GBRT)algorithm was applied to construct a delay recovery model to predict the delay recovery effects of the train operation adjustment actions.A comparison of the prediction results of the GBRT model with those of a random forest model confirmed the better performance of the GBRT prediction model.

Noise-like pulse generation from a thulium-doped fiber laser using nonlinear polarization rotation with different net anomalous dispersion

A mode-locked thulium-doped fiber laser(TDFL) based on nonlinear polarization rotation(NPR) with different net anomalous dispersion is demonstrated. When the cavity dispersion is-1.425 ps^2, the noise-like(NL) pulse with coherence spike width of 406 fs and pulse energy of 12.342 nJ is generated at a center wavelength of 2003.2 nm with 3 dB spectral bandwidth of 23.20 nm. In the experimental period of 400 min, the 3 dB spectral bandwidth variation, the output power fluctuation, and the central wavelength shift are less than 0.06 nm, 0.04 d B, and0.4 nm, respectively, indicating that the NPR-based TDFL operating in the NL regime holds good long-term stability.

Metamaterial absorbers(MAs)serve as important electromagnetic wave-absorbing devices that have captured the attention of researchers for a long *** as sensitive detectors to determine perturbations in an ambient environment is another significant subsidiary ***,we theoretically propose an optimized fabrication method to implement terahertz MAs with fewer steps and also evaluate both absorption and sensing performances of such MAs realized by the new *** findings demonstrate that such MAs can basically maintain the original absorption features perfectly,including near-complete absorption at resonance as well as strong robustness to wide incident ***,the full width at half-maximum and quality factor of the absorption resonances attenuate less than 26%and 8%with this new method,remaining in the ranges of^0.03–0.04 THz and^20–27 for two selected example *** significantly,sensing capacities of this type of MA,in terms of maximum detection range(enhancing at least 9%),observable spectral modulation(increasing at least 6.3%),and refractive index sensitivity,are improved to a large extent because of more intense coupling between resonant field and matter in the case of surface-relief *** stronger coupling results from exposing more spots of the resonantly high field to direct contact with an approaching analyte,which is illustrated by field profiles of the MAs at resonance in this ***,other desirable absorber features are also explored with such MAs,like functioning as building blocks to configure multiband MAs and strong robustness against fabrication *** new-style terahertz MAs shown in the paper,acting as good examples,not only prove that terahertz MAs can be fabricated by the proposed time-and cost-saving route in contrast to the traditional MA fabrication process,but also can serve as novel platforms to explore other intriguing terahertz photonic effects,such as the field enhancement e
