Amino-functionalized UiO-66-doped mixed matrix membranes with high permeation performance and fouling resistance

For the reduction of bovine serum proteins from wastewater,a novel mixed matrix membrane was prepared by functionalizing the substrate material polyaryletherketone(PAEK),followed by carboxyl groups(C-SPAEKS),and then adding amino-functionalized UiO-66-NH_(2)(Am-UiO-66-NH_(2)).Aminofunctionalization of UiO-66 was accomplished by melamine,followed by an amidation reaction to immobilize Am-UiO-66-NH_(2),which was immobilized on the surface of the membrane as well as in the pore channels,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the membrane surface while increasing the negative potential of the membrane *** nanoparticle-loaded ultrafiltration membrane has good permeation performance,with a pure water flux of up to 482.3 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1) for C-SPAEKS/AmUiO-66-NH_(2) and a retention rate of up to 98.7%for bovine serum albumin(BSA)-contaminated ***,after several hydrophilic modifications,the flux recovery of BSA contaminants by this series of membranes increased from 56.2%to 80.55%of pure *** results of ultra-filtration flux time tests performed at room temperature showed that the series of ultrafiltration membranes remained relatively stable over a test time of 300 ***,the newly developed mixed matrix membrane showed potential for high efficiency and stability in wastewater treatment containing bovine serum proteins.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and hybrid capacitors(SIHCs) have garnered significant attention in energy storage due to their inherent advantages,including high energy density,cost-effectiveness,and enhanced ***,developing high-performance anode materials to improve sodium storage performa nce still remains a major ***,a facile one-pot method has been developed to fabricate a hybrid of moSeTe nanosheets implanted within the N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton(moSeTe/N,F@C).Experimental results demonstrate that the incorporation of large-sized Te atoms into moSeTe nanosheets enlarges the layer spacing and creates abundant anion vacancies,which effectively facilitate the insertion/extraction of Na^(+) and provide numerous ion adsorption sites for rapid surface capacitive ***,the heteroatoms N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton with a highly conductive network can restrain the volume expansion and boost reaction kinetics within the *** anticipated,the moSeTe/N,F@C anode exhibits high reversible capacities along with exceptional cycle *** coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@C(NVPF@C) to form SIB full cells,the anode delivers a reversible specific capacity of 126 mA h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1).Furthermore,when combined with AC to form SIHC full cells,the anode demonstrates excellent cycling stability with a reversible specific capacity of50 mA h g^(-1) keeping over 3700 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1).In situ XRD,ex situ TEm characterization,and theoretical calculations(DFT) further confirm the reversibility of sodium storage in moSeTe/N,F@C anode materials during electrochemical reactions,highlighting their potential for widespread practical *** work provides new insights into the promising utilization of advanced transition metal dichalcogenides as anode materials for Na^(+)-based energy storage devices.

Optimal structural design for a certain near-space composite propeller of airship using adaptive region division blending model

Near-space airship is a frontier and hotspot in current military research and development,and the near-space composite propeller is the key technology for its *** order to obtain higher aerodynamic efficiency at an altitude of 22 km,a certain near-space composite propeller is designed as a long and slender aerodynamic shape with a 10 m diameter,which brings many challenges to the composite structure *** initial design is obtained by the composite structure variable stiffness design method using based on fixed region division blending ***,it weighs 23.142 kg,exceeding the required 20 *** order to meet the structural design requirements of the propeller,a variable stiffness design method using the adaptive region division blending model is proposed in this *** with the methods using the fixed region division blending model,this method optimizes region division,stacking thickness and stacking sequence in a single level,considering the coupling effect among *** a more refined region division,this method can provide a more optimal design for composite tapered ***,to improve the efficiency of optimization subjected to manufacturing constraints,a hierarchical penalty function is proposed to quickly filter out the solutions that do not meet manufacturing *** above methods combined with a Genetic Algorithm(GA)using specific encoding are adopted to optimize the near-space composite *** optimal design of the structure weighs 18.831 kg,with all manufacturing constraints and all structural response constraints being *** with the initial design,the optimal design has a more refined region division,and achieves a weight reduction of 18.6%.This demonstrates that a refined region division can significantly improve the mechanical performance of the composite tapered structure.

membrane distillation(mD)is a promising alternative desalination technology,but the hydrophobic membrane cannot intercept volatile organic compounds(VOCs),resulting in aggravation in the quality of *** term of this,electro-Fenton(EF)was coupled with sweeping gas membrane distillation(SGmD)in a more efficient way to construct an advanced oxidation barrier at the gas-liquid interface,so that the VOCs could be trapped in this layer to guarantee the water quality of the *** the so-called EF-mD process,an interfacial interception barrier containing hydroxyl radical formed on the hydrophobic membrane *** contributed to the high phenol rejection of 90.2% with the permeate phenol concentration lower than 1.50 mg/*** interceptions can be achieved in a wide temperature range,even though the permeate flux of phenol was also *** EF-mD system was robust to high salinity and could electrochemically regenerate ferrous ions,which endowed the long-term stability of the *** novel EF-mD configuration proposed a valuable strategy to intercept VOCs in mD and will broaden the application of mD in hypersaline wastewater treatment.

Oncolytic viruses(OVs),a group of replication-competent viruses that can selectively infect and kill cancer cells while leaving healthy cells intact,are emerging as promising living anticancer *** traditional drugs composed of non-replicating compounds or biomolecules,the replicative nature of viruses confer unique pharmacokinetic properties that require further *** some pharmacokinetics studies of OVs,mechanistic insights into the connection between OV pharmacokinetics and antitumor efficacy remain ***,we characterized the pharmacokinetic profile of oncolytic virus m1(OVm)in immunocompetent mouse tumor models and identified the JAK-STAT pathway as a key modulator of OVm *** suppressing the JAK-STAT pathway,early OVm pharmacokinetics are ameliorated,leading to enhanced tumor-specific viral accumulation,increased AUC and Cmax,and improved antitumor *** than compromising antitumor immunity after JAK-STAT inhibition,the improved pharmacokinetics of OVm promotes T cell recruitment and activation in the tumor microenvironment,providing an optimal opportunity for the therapeutic outcome of immune checkpoint blockade,such as *** together,this study advances our understanding of the pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic relationship in OV therapy.

Controlling the shape and composition of Pt-based nanocrystals is essential to improve electrocatalytic *** this work,we have carefully investigated the evolution process of morphology and composition for Pt and Pt_(3)m(m=Ni,Co)nanocrystals by hydrochloric acid(HCl)*** a result,only Pt_(3)Ni nanocrystals successfully formed unsaturated step-like atoms on the surface and then constructed high-index facets(HIFs),while Pt and Pt_(3)Co preserved a good octahedron *** functional theory(DFT)calculation suggests that Cl-ions can be tightly adsorbed on the surface of Pt_(3)Ni rather than other nanocrystals,which hinders the deposition of newly-reduced atoms and thus regulating the surface ***,the etching of surface transitional metals further accelerates the formation of *** by the active sites on the surface,HCl-Pt-Ni exhibited a~10.8 and~11.3 times higher oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)mass and specific activities than commercial Pt/C catalyst,and possessed a good durability after 10,000 cycles *** work gives a deep insight into the design of high-performance Pt-based ORR catalysts.

Knockout of C6orf120 in Rats Alleviates Concanavalin A-induced Autoimmune Hepatitis by Regulating macrophage Polarization

Performance Study of mImO-OSTBC Parallel Relay FSO System Based on GFDm

This paper investigates the performance of a new generalized frequency division multiplexing(GFDm)parallel relay free space optical(FSO) communication system using multi-input multi-output(mImO) orthogonal space-time block codes(OSTBC) scheme. Under the m distribution atmospheric turbulence, taking into account the triple effects of irradiance, pointing errors and path loss, the mathematical expression of system symbol error rate is derived with the help of meijer G-function. The symbol error performance of GFDm is compared with on-off keying,Gaussian minimum shift keying, polarization shift keying and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDm)modulation methods. The effects of the mImO-OSTBC parallel relay scheme on the GFDm system including filter roll down coefficient, the number of transmitting and receiving antennas, the number of relays, normalized beamwidth and jitter variance are analyzed, and the numerical results are verified by monte Carlo simulation. This work provides a good foundation for engineering applications.
