Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Fmb14 ameliorates hyperuricemia-induced hepatocyte pyroptosis via NLRP3 inflammasome cascade inhibition

Hyperuricemia is a high-risk factor for the development of gout and renal fibrosis,but the adverse effects of hyperuricemia on the liver have been seriously *** research investigated the ameliorating effect of Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Fmb14 on hyperuricemia induced liver dysfunction both in vitro and in *** free extracts of high dose *** Fmb14 treatment reduced the death rate of HepG2 cell lines from 24.1%to 14.9%by inhibiting NLRP3 recruitment,which was mainly activated by reactive oxygen species release and mitochondrial membrane potential *** purine dietary induced hyperuricemia(PDIH)mice model,liver oedema and pyroptosis were ameliorated after *** Fmb14 administration through downregulating the expression levels of NLRP3,caspase-1 and gasdermin-D from 1.61 to 0.86,3.15 to 1.01 and 5.63 to 2.02,*** Fmb14 administration restored mitochondrial inner membrane protein(MPV17)and connexin 43 from 2.83 and 0.73 to 0.80 and 0.98 respectively in PDIH mice,indicating that dysbiosis of mitochondrial membrane potential was restored in ***,PDIH pyroptosis stimulates the process of apoptosis,which leads to severe leakage of hepatocytes,and both of pyroptosis and apoptosis were decreased after *** Fmb14 ***,*** Fmb14 is a promising biological resource to maintain homeostasis of the liver in hyperuricemia and the prevention of subsequent complications.

Morphological and Sulfur-Isotopic Characteristics of Pyrites in the Deep Sediments from Xisha Trough,South China Sea

Pyrite is one of the common authigenic minerals in marine *** studies have shown that the morphological and isotopic characteristics of pyrite are closely related to the geochemical environment where it is *** better understand the for-mation mechanism of authigenic pyrite,we analyzed the isotopic composition,morphology,and distribution of pyrite in the sediment at 500m below the seafloor from Xisha Trough,South China *** morphologies were observed by scanning electron micros-copy and Raman spectrography.X-Ray computed tomography was applied to measure the particle size of *** size of pyrite crystals in the matrix sediment mainly ranged between 25 and 65µm(***.40µm),although crystals were larger(***.50μm)in the *** pyrites had a fine-grained truncated octahedral shape with occasionally well-developed growth steps,which implies the low growth rate and weak anaerobic oxidation of methane-sulfate reduction when pyrite was ***δ^(34)S values of pyrites ranged from+20.8‰Vienna-defined Canyon Diablo Troilite(V-CDT)to+33.2‰V-CDT and from+44.8‰V-CDT to+48.9‰,which suggest two growth *** the first stage,with the continuous low methane flux,the pyrite possibly formed in an environment with good access to *** the second stage,the pyrites mainly developed in sediment fractures and appeared in veins,probably due to the limited availability of *** less exposure of pyrite to the environment in the second stage was probably caused by sediment accumulation or *** this study,an episodic pyritization process was identified,and the paleoenvironment was reconstructed for the sediment investigated.

Electric vehicles(EVs)have garnered significant attention as a vital driver of economic growth and environmental ***,ensuring the safety of high-energy batteries is now a top priority that cannot be overlooked during large-scale *** paper proposes an innovative active protection and cooling integrated battery module using smart materials,magneto-sensitive shear thickening fluid(MSTF),which is specifically designed to address safety threats posed by lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)exposed to harsh mechanical and environmental *** theoretical framework introduces a novel approach for harnessing the smoothed-particle hydrodynamics(SPH)methodology that incorporates the intricate interplay of non-Newtonian fluid behavior,capturing the fluid-structure coupling inherent to the *** approach is further advanced by adopting an enhanced Herschel-Bulkley(H-B)model to encapsulate the intricate rheology of the MSTF under the influence of the magnetorheological effect(MRE)and shear thickening(ST)*** simulation results show that in the case of cooling,the MSTF is an effective cooling medium for rapidly reducing the *** terms of mechanical abuse,the MSTF solidifies through actively applying the magnetic field during mechanical compression and impact within the battery module,resulting in 66%and 61.7%reductions in the maximum stress within the battery jellyroll,and 31.1%and 23%reductions in the reaction force,*** mechanism effectively lowers the risk of short-circuit *** groundbreaking concepts unveiled in this paper for active protection battery modules are anticipated to be a valuable technological breakthrough in the areas of EV safety and lightweight/integrated design.

Low-dose computed tomography(LDCT)contains the mixed noise of Poisson and Gaus-sian,which makes the image reconstruction a challenging *** order to describe the statistical characteristics of the mixed noise,we adopt the sinogram preprocessing as a stan-dard maximum a posteriori(MAP).Based on the fact that the sinogram of LDCT has non-local self-similarity property,it exhibits low-rank *** conventional way of solving the low-rank problem is implemented in matrix forms,and ignores the correlations among similar patch *** avoid this issue,we make use of a nonlocal kronecker-Basis-Representation(kBR)method to depict the low-rank problem.A new denoising model,which consists of the sinogram preprocessing for data fidelity and the nonlocal kBR term,is developed in this *** proposed denoising model can better illustrate the generative mechanism of the mixed noise and the prior knowledge of the ***-merical results show that the proposed denoising model outperforms the state-of-the-art algorithms in terms of peak-signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR),feature similarity(FSIM),and normalized mean square error(NMSE).

Flower-like CuS/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3) van der Waals heterostructures with highefficient electromagnetic wave absorption

The escalating electromagnetic(EM)pollution issues and the demand to elevate military stealth technology make it imperative to develop cost-effective and high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbing *** this paper,the flower-like CuS/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3) van der Waals(vdW)heterostructures have been synthesized via a facile two-step solvothermal *** flower-like CuS skeleton increases the attenuation path of EMW while reducing the material *** contents ofγ-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles anchor between the flower-like CuS nanosheets to constitute a heterogeneous structure,which enables dielectric and magnetic loss synergistically to optimize impedance matching and remarkably improve the EMW absorption *** minimum reflection loss(RLmin)is-49.36 dB with a thickness of only 1.6 mm and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reaches 4.64 GHz(13.36–18 GHz).By adjusting the thickness of the absorber,the EAB can cover 96%of the GHz ***,the superior absorption of-61.53 dB at middle frequency band can be obtained by adjusting the amount of Fe_(2)O_(3) *** this study,the adjustment of EM parameters and the optimization of impedance matching have been achieved by constructing a novel vdW heterogeneous structure,which provides fresh ideas and references for the design of high-performance EMW absorbing materials.

Separation of La(Ⅲ),Ce(Ⅳ)and Ca(Ⅱ)from bastnaesite using acidic phosphonic chitosan and rotating disk membrane

The separation of rare earths is difficult due to their similar properties and the complex characteristics of associated vein o ***-ultrafiltration(CUF)and shear induced o rderly dissociation coupling with ultrafiltration(SIODUF)were used to separate metal ions(M,M=La(Ⅲ),Ce(Ⅳ)and Ca(Ⅱ))from simulated bastnaesite leaching solution using acidic phosphonic chitosan(aPCS)and rotating disk *** of simultaneous removal of metallic ions was investigated by CUF,and suitable conditions were obtained for C/M 10.0(mass ratio of complexant to metal ions)and pH *** shear stabilities of aPCS-M complexes were explored at different pH values and the results show that the complexes can dissociate at a certain rotational speed,the critical *** critical s hear rates of aPCS-La,aPCS-Ce and aPCS-Ca complexes at pH 5.0 were calculated as 1.42×10^(5).1.69×10^(5) and 9.75×10^(4) s^(-1),*** order of complexes shear stability is aPCS-Ca aPCS-Lay SIODUF in the light of the difference of aPCSM complexes shear *** separation coefficientsβLa/Ce andβCa/La reach 31.2 and 53.9,respectively.

In electromagnetic countermeasures circumstances,synthetic aperture radar(SAR)imagery usually suffers from severe quality degradation from modulated interrupt sampling repeater jamming(MISRJ),which usually owes considerable coherence with the SAR transmission waveform together with periodical modulation *** paper develops an MISRJ suppression algorithm for SAR imagery with online dictionary *** the algorithm,the jamming modulation temporal properties are exploited with extracting and sorting MISRJ slices using fast-time *** dictionary learning is followed to separate real signals from jamming *** the learned representation,time-varying MISRJs are suppressed *** simulated and real-measured SAR data are also used to confirm advantages in suppressing time-varying MISRJs over traditional methods.

Elucidating the enhancement of kaolinite flotation by iron content through density functional theory: A study on sodium oleate adsorption efficiency

This study delves into the intricate relationship between iron(Fe)content in kaolinite and its impact on the adsorption behavior of sodium *** effects of different iron concentrations on adsorption energy,hydrogen bond kinetics and adsorption efficiency were studied through simulation and experimental *** results show that the presence of iron in the kaolinite structure significantly improves the adsorption capacity of sodium *** samples with high iron content have better adsorption properties,lower adsorption energy levels and shorter and stronger hydrogen bonds than pure *** optimal concentration of oleic acid ions for achieving maximum adsorption efficiency was identified as 1.2 mmol/L across different kaolinite *** this concentration,the adsorption rates and capacities reach their peak,with Fe-enriched kaolinite samples exhibiting notably higher flotation recovery *** optimal concentration represents a balance between sufficient oleic acid ion availability for surface interactions and the prevention of self-aggregation phenomena that could hinder *** study offers promising avenues for optimizing the flotation process in mineral processing applications.
