Objective:To develop the rapid and efficient quantitative detection tool for nervous necrosis virus isolated from sevenband grouper Hyporhodus ***:The viral genes of the NNV(SGyeosu08) isolated from sevenband grouper were phylogenetically *** addition,novel quantitative PCR primers based on the genomic sequence of SGyeosu08 isolate were designed and compared it with the conventional bio-assay method(TCID_(50)) using in vitro and in vivo ***:The phylogenetic analysis of viral genes demonstrated the relationship of SGyeosu08 with members of red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus(RGNNV).The qNNV_Rl primer set(R1_F and R1_R) and the qNNV_R2 primer set(R2_F and R2_R) revealed 93%primer efficiency(regression:y=-0.2861 x + 9.9401,R^2= 0.9976)and the revealed 108%primer efficiency(regression:y=-0.3172 x + 10.0611,R^2= 0.9982),*** comparison with viral infectivity calculated by TCID_(50) method showed similar kinetic pattern at in vitro and NNV challenged fish(in vivo) ***:Result show that this method is rapid and efficient to diagnose NNV infection compare to traditional bioassay method(TCID_(50)).

AIM: To evaluate the prognosis of type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus (T2DM) after gastrectomy and related factors in gastric cancer patients. METHODS: 403 gastric cancer patients with T2DM were studied, who underwent gastrectomy between May 2003 and September 2009. A review of medica records and telephone interviews was performed in this cross-sectional study. The factors included in the statistical analysis were as follows: gender, age, type of surgery, preoperative body mass index (BMI), current BMI, BMI reduction ratio, preoperative insulin or oral diabetic medicine requirement, follow-up duration, and current state of diabetes. Assessment of diabetes status after surgery was classified into four categories according to the change in hypoglycemic agents after surgery and present status of T2DM: resolution, improvement, same, and worse.(± 20.6 mo), preoperative BMI was 24.7 kg/m2 (± 3.0 kg/m2), and BMI reduction ratio was 9.8% (± 8.6%). After surgery, T2DM was cured in 58 patients (15.1%) and was improved in 117 patients (30.4%). According to the type of surgery, the BMI reduction ratio was signif icantly higher in the total gastrectomy and Roux-en-y reconstruction group [14.2% ± 9.2% vs 9.2% ± 7.7% (Billroth Ⅱ group), P y lower in the subtotal gastrectomy and Billroth Ⅰ reconstruction group [7.6% ± 8.0%, 9.2% ± 7.7% (Billroth Ⅱ group), P y, type of surgery, extent of gastrectomy, and performance of duodenal bypass were signif icantly correlated to the course of T2DM (P ysis of patients with a BMI reduction ratio of 10% or less (n = 206), T2DM was cured in 15 (7.6%) patients and was improved in 57 (28.8%) patients after surgery, and only the duration of surgery was signif icantly correlated to T2DM status (P = 0.022).

AIM: To determine the tolerability and safety profile of a low-dose maintenance therapy with 6-TG in azathioprine (AZA) or 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) intolerant inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients over a treatment period of at least 1 ***: Database ***: Twenty out of ninety-five (21%) patients discontinued 6-TG (mean dose 24.6 mg; mean 6-TGN level 540 pmol/8×108 RBC) within 1 year. Reasons for discontinuation were GI complaints (31%), malaise (15%)and hepatotoxicity (15%). Hematological events occurred in three patients, one discontinued treatment. In the 6-TG-tolerant group, 9% (7/75) could be classified as hepatotoxicity. An abdominal ultrasound was performed in 54% of patients, one patient had ***: The majority of AZA or 6-MP-intolerant IBD patients (79%) is able to tolerate maintenance treatment with 6-TG (dosages between 0.3 and 0.4 mg/kg per d). 6-TG may still be considered as an escape maintenance immunosuppressant in this difficult to treat group of patients, taking into account potential toxicity and efficacy of other alternatives. The recently reported hepatotoxicity is worrisome and 6-TG should therefore be administered only in prospective trials.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

由于盐害及干旱经常同时发生,因而作物对二者双重胁迫的反应引起了人们极大的关注。本文利用生长室研究了不同基质势和渗透势对小麦、大麦、大麦茎根生长的效应。实验中应用人工盐化沙壤土,种子首先在无盐土壤中萌发,然后移栽到具有不同渗透势和基质势的土体上,培养8天。结果表明,-0.1—-1.0MPa的渗透势和-0.01～-2.5MPa的基质能抑制茎、根的生长,但二者的胁迫效应在量上不定等同,在较高胁迫水平下,二者之间明显存在互作。在大多数盐分处理中,根系在较干旱土壤中的生长优于较湿润土壤,可能由于潮湿土壤中较快的物质流动使根系周围的盐分积累较多,从而抑制根系生长。

Introduction: Radiotherapy is often used to treat head and neck malignancies, with inevitable effects on the surrounding healthy tissues. We have reviewed the literature concerning the experimental irradiation of facial bones in animals. Materials and Methods: A PubMed search was performed to retrieve animal experiments on the irradiation of facial bones that were published between January 1992 and January 2012. The search terms were “irradiation facial bone” and “irradiation osteoradionecrosis”. Results: Thirty-six publications were included. The irradiation sources were Cobalt60, orthovoltage, 4 - 6 megavolt photons, and brachytherapy. The total dose varied between 8 - 60 Gy in single or multiple fractions. The literature presents a broad range of animal studies that differ in terms of the in vivo model, irradiation, observation period, and evaluation of results. Discussion: The different animal models used leave many questions unanswered. A detailed and standardized description of the methodology and results would facilitate the comparability of future studies.
