The“shuttle effect”of polysulfides hampers the commercialization of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)***,a thin molecular sieve film was decorated on the surface of an electrospun cellulose acetate(CA)membrane derived from recycled cigarette filters,where the truncated cone structureβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD)was selected as the building block to physically block and chemically trap polysulfides while simultaneously dramatically speeding up ion ***,on theβ-CD free side of the separator facing the cathode,graphite carbon(C)was sputtered as an upper current collector,which barely increases the *** benefits result in an initial discharge performance of 1378.24 mAh g^(−1) and long-term cycling stability of 863.78 mAh g^(−1) after 1000 cycles at 0.2 C for the battery with theβ-CD/CA/C separator,which is more than three times that of the PP separator after 500 ***,the funnel-type channel ofβ-CD generates a differential ionic fluid pressure on both sides,speeding up ion transport by up to 69%,and a 65.3%faster charging rate of 9484 mA g^(−1) was ***“funnel effect”of a separator is regarded as a novel and high-efficiency solution for fast charging of Li-S and other lithium secondary batteries.

Stochastic resonance (SR)-like and resonance suppression (RS)-like phenomena in a time-delayed bistable system driven by additive white noise are investigated by means of stochastic simulations of the power spectrum,the quality factor of the power spectrum,and the mean first-passage time (MFPT) of the *** cal culative results indicate that:(i) as the system is driven by a small periodic signal,the quality factor as a function delay time exhibits a maximal value at smaller noise intensities,i.e.,an SR-like *** the increment in additive noise inteusity,the extremum gradually disappears and the quality factor decreases monotonously with delay time.(ii) As the additive noise intensity is smaller,the curve of the MFPT with respect to delay time displays a peak,i.e.,an RS-like *** higher levels of noise,however,the non-monotonic behavior is lost.

The emergence of human coronaviruses(HCoVs),especially the current pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),engender severe threats to public health *** the outstanding breakthrough of new vaccines and therapeutic medicines in the past years,HCoVs still undergo unpredictable mutations,thus demanding more effective diagnostic and therapeutic *** from the unique physicochemical properties and multiple nano-bio interactions,nanomaterials hold promising potential to fight against various HCoVs,either by providing sensitive and economic nanosensors for rapid viral detection,or by developing translatable nanovaccines and broad-spectrum nanomedicines for HCoV ***,we systemically summarized the recent applications of nanoagents in diagnostics and therapeutics for HCoV-induced diseases,as well as their limitations and perspectives against HCoV *** believe this review will promote the design of innovative theranostic nanoagents for the current and future HCoV-caused pandemics.

Operating in island mode when failure occurs in sure to maintain an uninterrupted power supply to significant loads. A two-stage approach that integrates optimal island partition and power dispatch is proposed in this paper, considering photovoltaics(PVs), batteries(BEs) and electric vehicles(EVs) as the power sources. In the first stage, energy indices are defined to describe the energy demand and the maximum energy that these distributed energy resources(DERs) can provide, and islands are partitioned based on an energy constraint. Considering the variability the loads and PVs, the energy constraint is a necessary but not sufficient condition for island operation,so in the second stage, a power dispatch model is proposed the active distribution network(ADN) is an effective mea-as a test for the island partition result. Sequential power flow is also simulated to guarantee a feasible and optimized island status. The situations when the tests are not passed are analyzed and classified, and corresponding modifications for the first stage model are provided. Multiple levels of constraints based on the energy index are established for the island partition model. The proposed approach has been validated through simulation using a modified IEEE 69-bus system which is divided into three districts with different load variability characteristics.

Ultra low carbon steels by the thermal mechanical control process（TMCP） with less Ni,Cr,and Mo contents have been developed for 550 MPa grade heavy gauge ship hulls and offshore *** relationships among microstructures,process,and properties of the studied steel have been investigated.A series of accurate control technologies have been developed for this kind of *** microalloying and TMCP＋relaxation precipitation control（RPC）＋accelerated cooling process were employed to optimize the mechanical properties and ensure the homogeneity of the 80-mm thick *** microstructures of thin plates slightly changed from surface to center,but the micro-structures of the heavy gauge plate（80 mm） changed *** the simple composition,it can meet the requirement of thin plates by adopting a few *** for thick plates（80 mm）,a little higher Cu and Ni contents should be *** steels can meet the needs without *** these ways,the properties of the steels can be optimized,and the cost can be decreased notably.

Career indecision is a difficult obstacle confronting adolescents. Traditional vocational assessment research measures it by means of questionnaires and diagnoses the potential sources of career indecision. Based on the diagnostic outcomes, career counselors develop treatment plans tailored to students. However, because of personal motives and the architecture of the mind, it may be difficult for students to know themselves, and the outcome of questionnaires may not fully reflect their inner states and statuses. Selfperception theory suggests that students＇ behavior could be used as a clue for inference. Thus, we proposed a data-driven framework for forecasting student career choice upon graduation based on their behavior in and around the campus, thereby playing an important role in supporting career counseling and career guidance. By evaluating on 10M behavior data of over four thousand students, we show the potential of this framework for this functionality.

The age, growth, and mortality of Gymnocypris firmispinatus were studied by 582 individuals that collected between July 2015 and June 2016 from the tributaries of the Anning River, China. The total length (TL) ranged from 27 mm to 242 mm, total weight (W) ranged from 0.2 g to 148.2 g. The relationship of total length and weight was expressed as W =7.754×10^-6 TL^ 3.304 for the total samples. The age classes of males were 1–9 a, and that of females were 1–13 a. The von Bertalanff y functions based on otolith readings and observed length data were L t ♂=198.6(1–e^-0.094 ( t +3.497)), and L t ♀=289.3(1–e^-0.089 ( t +1.109)). The total mortality ( z ) of male and female G . firmispinatus was estimated as 0.73/a and 0.40/a, respectively. The natural mortality ( M ) was evaluated as 0.25/a for males and 0.20/a for females, fishing mortality ( F ) was 0.35/a for males and 0.16/a for females. The exploitation ratio of the population was 0.66/a for males and 0.50/a for females. It was concluded that the growth of the fish is relatively slower than other congeneric fishes. The population of G . firmispinatus in the tributaries of the Anning River might be in over-exploitation under the current fishing intensity.

Multi-objective optimization of methane production system from biomass through anaerobic digestion

This work addressed the multi-objective optimization of a biogas production system considering both environmental and economic criteria. A mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP) model was established and solved with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ, from which the Pareto fronts, the optimal technology combinations and operation conditions were obtained and analyzed. It's found that the system is feasible in both environmental and economic considerations after optimization. The most expensive processing section is decarbonization; the most expensive equipment is anaerobic digester; the most power-consuming processing section is digestion, followed by decarbonization and waste management. The positive green degree value on the process is attributed to processing section of digestion and waste management. 3:1 chicken feces and corn straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption and 3:1 chicken feces and rice straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption are turned out to be two robust technology combinations under different prices of methane and electricity by sensitivity analysis. The optimization results provide support for optimal design and operation of biogas production system considering environmental and economic objectives.

We propose a unified thermodynamic model of flow-induced crystallization of polymer(uFIC),which incorporates not only the conformational entropy reduction but also the contributions of flow-induced chain orientation,the interaction of ordered segments,and the free energy of crystal nucleus and crystal ***,it clarifies the determining parameters of the critical crystal nucleus size,and is able to account for the acceleration of nucleation,the emergence of precursor,different crystal morphologies and structures induced by *** on the nucleation barrier under flow,we analyze at which condition precursor may occur and how flow affects the competition among different crystal forms such as orthorhombic and hexagonal phases of *** to the uFIC model,the different crystal morphologies and structures in the flow-temperature space have been clarified,which give a good agreement with experiments of FIC.
