Effects of y content and temperature on the damping capacity of extruded Mg-y sheets

the damping behavior of extruded Mg-xy(x=0.5,1.0,3.0 wt.%)sheets were investigated in detail concerning the effects of y addition and temperature,and the relationship between damping capacity and yield strength was *** room temperature(Rt),with y content increasing from 0.5%to 3.0%,the damping capacity(Q-1)significantly decreased from 0.037 to *** all the studied sheets,the relationship between strain amplitude and Q-1 fitted well with the Granato and Liicke(G-L)dislocation damping *** temperature increased,the G-L plots deviated from linearity indicating that the dislocation damping was not the only dominate mechanism,and the grain boundary sliding(GBS)could contribute to damping ***,the Q-1 increased remarkably above the critical temperature,and the critical temperature increased significantly from 50℃ to 290℃ with increasing y contents from 0 to 3.0wt.%.this result implied that the segregation of y solutes at grain boundary could depress the GBS,which was consistent with the recent finding of segregation tendency for rare-earth *** extruded Mg-Iy sheet exhibited slightly higher yield strength(Rp0.2)and Q-1 comparing with high-damping Mg-0.6Zr at *** an elevated temperature of 325℃,the Mg-Iy sheet had similar Q-1 but over 3 times larger Rp0.2 than that of the pure *** present study indicated that the extruded Mg-y based alloys exhibited promising potential for developing high-performance damping alloys,especially for the elevated-temperature application.

the spatiotemporal extension/expansion of mine areas is affected by multiple *** far,very little has been done to examine the interaction between mine areas and political or economic ***(ultra‐)mafic magmatic mines in China played a specific role in supporting national development and providing an ideal research subject for monitoring their *** this study,remote sensing and mining‐related GIS data were used to identify and analyze 1233(ultra‐)mafic magmatic mine area polygons in China,which covered approximately 322.96 km2 of land and included a V–ti–Fe mine,a copper–nickel mine,a chromite mine,an asbestos mine,and a diamond *** was found that(1)the areal expansion of mines is significantly related to the mine types,perimeter,topography,and population density.(2)the mine area variation also reflects market and policy *** temporal expansion of the mine area from 2010 to 2020 followed an S‐shaped pattern(with the turning point occurring in 2014),closely related to iron overcapacity and tightened mining policies.(3)the complexity(D)of the mine area may reflect mine design and excavation *** be specific,lower D indicates early‐stage or artisanal/small‐scale mining,whereas higher D represents large‐scale *** study demonstrates that the detailed mapping of mine land can serve as an indicator to implement miningrelated market and policy ***(ultra‐)mafic mines area data set can be accessed at https://***/record/7636616#.y-p0uXaZOa0.

the construction of heterogeneous frustrated Lewis pairs(FLPs)catalysts is crucial for realizing highly efficient and recyclable pyridines catalytic *** this work,we prepared a recyclable heterogenous FLPs catalyst CMP-BF with conjugated microporous polymer CMP-ethynyl as the support via self-catalyzed 1,1-carboboration reaction with commercial Lewis acid B(C_(6)F_(5))_(3).the as-synthesized CMP-BF demonstrates superior heterogenous catalytic hydrogenation performance(conversion>99%),and considerable stability(84%conversion after three cycles)in recyclable hydrogenation of 2,*** work provides insights into the fabrication and catalytic application of recyclable heterogenous FLP catalysts.

the limitations of the conventional master-slavesplitting(MSS)method,which is commonly applied to power flow and optimal power flow in integrated transmission and distribution(I-t&D)networks,are first *** that the MSS method suffers from a slow convergence rate or even divergence under some circumstances,a least-squares-based iterative(LSI)method is *** with the MSS method,the LSI method modifies the iterative variables in each iteration by solving a least-squares problem with the information in previous iterations.A practical implementation and a parameter tuning strategy for the LSI method are ***,a LSI-PF method is proposed to solve I-t&D power flow and a LSIheterogeneous decomposition(LSI-HGD)method is proposed to solve optimal power *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed LSI-PF and LSI-HGD methods can achieve the same accuracy as the benchmark ***,these LSI methods,with appropriate settings,significantly enhance the convergence and efficiency of conventional ***,in some cases,where conventional methods diverge,these LSI methods can still converge.

U-Pb zircon ages and petrogeochemistry and tectonic implications of gabbro and granite in southwest Lahad Datu area of Sabah, Malaysia

the southwest Lahad Datu felsic rocks were previously thought to have formed in the late triassic as part of the microcontinental crystalline *** on U-Pb ages,geochemistry,and the Hfisotopes of zircon from the southeastern Sabah gabbro and granite,in this study,the tectonic properties of the Sabah area during the triassic were *** weighted average U-Pb zircon ages of the gabbro and granite samples were determined to be(230.9±2.5)Ma and(207.1±3.3)Ma,*** granite had SiO_(2) contents of 66.54%-79.47%,low tiO_(2) contents of 0.08%-0.3%,Al_(2)O_(3) contents of 10.97%-16.22%,Na_(2)O contents of 5.91 %-6.39%,and low K_(2)O contents of 0.15%-0.65%.the chondrite-normalized rare earth element(REE) patterns exhibit light REE enrichment,with right-sloping *** primitive mantle-normalized trace element spider diagrams exhibit th,U,La,Sr,and Zr enrichment and Nb,ta,P and ti depletions,i.e.,the geochemical characteristics of typical island arc igneous *** tectonic discriminant diagram indicates that the granite is a volcanic arc *** Hf isotopic an alysis of gabbro zircon revealed that the zircons have ε_(Hf)(t)values of 12.08-16.24(mean of 14.32) and two-stage model ages(t_(DM2)) of 223-491 Ma(mean of 347 Ma).this indicates that the diagenetic magma of the gabbro was mainly derived from melting of newly formed crustal *** ophiolite in southeast Sabah has existed since the early Late *** crystalline basement granite in southeastern S abah was emplaced lasted from late triassic to early *** on previous studies and global plate reconstruction models,it is speculated that the southeastern Sabah granite may have been formed in an island arc setting,i.e.,where the oceanic crust of the Paleo-tethys Ocean collided with the oceanic crust of the Panthalassa Ocean.

Described here is a divergent,biosynthetically inspired synthesis of cochlearol B and ganocin *** steps of the synthesis include the chromene unit construction through a biomimetic acid-catalyzed[4+2]ring cyclization.A photochemical[2+2]cycloaddition was featured to construct the cyclobutane core of cochlearol *** skeletal rearrangements of cochlearol B afforded ganocin A,that one of them was Lewis acid mediated epoxide rearrangement and another was DDQ induced cyclobutane formed tetrahydrofuran *** described syntheses not only achieved these natural products in an efficient manner,but also provided insight into the biosynthetic relationship between the two different skeletons.
