Photovoltaic and optical properties of fullerene/phthalocyanine heterojunction solar cells with normal and inverted structures were fabricated and investigated. Aluminum and gallium phthalocyanines were used for the n-type semiconductor. The solar cells with inverted structure had more stability compared to that with normal structure in the air. Nanostructures of the solar cells were investigated by transmission electron microscopy, and energy levels of the molecules were calculated and discussed.

Purpose: To examine podoplanin expression in human pleomorphic adenomas (PA)。Methods: Immunohistochemical analysis was performed in 28 cases of PA。Results: Podoplanin expression was detected in limited modified myoepithelial elements in all cases。Strong reaction for podoplanin was observed in epitheloid and spindle cells。Conclusion: Expression of podoplanin by the limited modified myoepithelial elements may reflect the progression of PA。

为了减轻空气污染和缓解全球变暖,各个国家均出台了尾气排放标准,且限制标准越来越严格。在此背景下,多种技术已被应用以满足相关要求,如提高燃油燃烧率、催化效率,降低排气管热容量等。而这一系列措施均会导致汽车尾气的最高温度上升。近些年,汽车排气系统零件主要用铁素体不锈钢制作,因为铁素体不锈钢的热膨胀系数小,耐循环氧化和耐高温疲劳性能均优于奥氏体不锈钢。介绍了日新制钢新研发的汽车排气系统用耐热不锈钢,以及该钢种的研发现状和发展趋势。Nb、Mo、Cu在700℃时的固溶强化和析出强化对提高铁素体不锈钢的高温强度非常有效,而添加Nb、Mo、W主要是在900℃时起到固溶强化作用。Cr,Si和Mn可降低铁素体不锈钢(含14%Cr)在大气中950℃保温200h的氧化程度。特别是添加0.8%及以上的Mn可有效提高氧化皮的附着力。事实证明,日新制钢开发的NSSHR-1(14Cr-1Mn-0.9Si-Nb)和NSSHR-2(10Cr-0.9Si-Nb-Ti)铁素体不锈钢与441和439不锈钢相比,具有更高的耐热性和成形性。

Effects of PBr3Addition to Polysilane Thin Films on Structures and Photovoltaic Properties

Organic thin film solar cells are potential next generation solar cells. Many p-type semiconductors have been used in organic solar cells, but there have been far fewer reports involving n-type organic semiconductors. Developing new n-type organic semiconductors is therefore desirable. Polysilane thin films were spin-coated from solutions containing phosphorus (P), and the effects of P addition on film microstructures and electronic properties as n-type semiconductors were investigated. Microstructures of poly-methyl-phenyl-silane (PMPS), dimethyl-polysilane (DMPS) and deca-phenyl-penta-silane (DPPS) thin films were investigated by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. PMPS thin films doped with P (PMPS(P)) were amorphous upon annealing at 300°C, while DMPS(P) and DPPS(P) thin films exhibited crystalline structures. PMPS(P) and DMPS(P) thin films exhibited decreased electrical resistances upon P doping. The energy gaps of PMPS(P), DMPS(P) and DPPS(P) were 3.5, 3.9 and 3.8 eV, respectively. Decreased photoluminescence intensities of PMPS, DMPS and DPPS were observed upon P doping. The desorption of phenyl and methyl groups from PMPS(P) thin films was observed from Raman scattering measurements. Solar cells containing polysilane(P)/poly[3-hexylthiophene] heterojunction structures were fabricated and exhibited photovoltaic behavior.

Septic Arthritis: A Need to Strengthen the Referral Chain in a Developing Economy

Aim: This retrospective analysis documents the features and factors that potentially affect outcomes in septic arthritis in the Cross River Basin area of south-south Nigeria. Patients and Methods: A retrospective analysis of 43 patients who presented with septic arthritis in 45 joints between September 2007 and August 2010. All patients with pain, fever, joint swelling and non-weight bearing/refusal to move the limb and had a joint aspiration productive of a turbid and/or purulent aspirate were included in the analysis. Patients whose joint aspiration produced frank blood or a clear exudate were excluded. Results: There were 24 males and 19 females (M:F = 1.3:1). Forty patients were children while three were adults. Thirty-three patients were urban dwellers, 8 were semi-urban dwellers and 2 were rural dwellers. Twenty-five children were first seen by a Paediatrician. Only 5 patients were first seen by an Orthopaedic surgeon. Definitive treatment was conservative in 28 children and arthrotomy/washout in 12 children and 3 adults. Staphylococcus aureus was the commonest isolated pathogen in both age groups. Conclusion: Injudicious interventions in musculoskeletal conditions consist not only of traditional bone setting and other unorthodox practices, but also sub-optimal orthodox medical practices. Healthcare outcomes in Africa are a function of the skewed distribution of the healthcare workforce and a weak referral chain. The near absence of follow-up culture underscores the need for education on injudicious antibiotic therapy to be directed at patients and physicians. Judicious interventions in musculoskeletal sepsis at first contact and a strengthening of the referral chain are important.

为了研究静电偏转摄象管的电子束系统的特性,提出用分离变量法来计算具有扭向的多折箭型花偏转系统的偏转场。该场尽管是三维场,只要用 HITAC-M2000H 型计算机,一分钟内就能算完2000个点的场值,准确度可达10-3,并能给出偏转场的分布。此外,可在磁聚焦静电偏转（MS）系统中分析电子束的偏转象差。我们发现,只需用非均匀磁场就可实现 MS 束系统的良好性能,从而可见偏转象差和着靶误差强烈地依从于花偏转系统的扭向。

Electricity network is a very complex entity that comprises several components like generators, transmission lines, loads among others. As technologies continue to evolve, the complexity of the electricity network has also increased as more devices are being connected to the network. To understand the physical laws governing the operation of the network, techniques such as optimal power flow (OPF), Economic dispatch (ED) and Security constrained optimal power flow (SCOPF) were developed. These techniques have been used extensively in network operation, planning and so on. However, an in-depth presentation showcasing the merits and demerits of these techniques is still lacking in the literature. Hence, this paper intends to fill this gap. In this paper, Economic dispatch, optimal power flow and security-constrained optimal power flow are applied to a 3-bus test system using a linear programming approach. The results of the ED, OPF and SC-OPF are compared and presented.
