Multicomponent alloys of Zr_(50)M_(50),Zr_(50)(M,Ag)_(50)and Zr_(50)(M,Pd)_(50)(M=Fe,Co,Ni,Cu)can be melt-spun to obtain amorphous *** maximum thickness for fully amorphous ribbons varies with composition in the range 34-53μ*** contrast,fully amorphous ribbons are not obtainable for binary Zr_(50)Ni_(50)or ternary Zr_(50)(Ni,Cu)_(50)***-induced crystallization occurs through:two stages of amorphous[am]→[~(am')+B2]→[B2+B33]for Zr_(50)M_(50);and[am]→[am'+B2]→[B2+AgZr]for Zr_(50)(M,Ag)_(50);and a single stage of[am]→[B2]for Zr_(50)(M,Pd)_(50),while no B2 phase is formed for the binary and ternary Zr_(50)Q_(50)(Q=Ni or/and Cu)***-spun amorphous ribbons have good bending ***,Zr_(50)M_(50)ribbons in tension show 0.22-0.28%plastic elongation and work-hardening(the yield stress is~820 MPa,the fracture stress is~1200 MPa).When cold-rolled at room temperature to 30%reduction in thickness,Zr_(50)M_(50)ribbons show 10%increase in hardness,while retaining good bending ***-rolling induces precipitation of spheroidal B2 and irregular B33 particles,while deformation in tension induces B2,B33 and also plate-like monoclinic *** B2 and B33 particles form by polymorphic transformation,and include a high density of internal *** novel deformationinduced precipitation has not been recognized for any Zr_(50)Q_(50)binary or ternary *** new multicomponent systems are encouraging for future progress as structural amorphous alloys.

Bi-Frobenius Algebra Structures on Quantum Complete Intersections

This paper is to look for bi-Frobenius algebra structures on quantum complete intersections over field *** find a class of comultiplications,such that if√−1∈k,then a quantum complete intersection becomes a bi-Frobenius algebra with comultiplication of this form if and only if all the parameters qij=±***,it is proved that if√−1∈k then a quantum exterior algebra in two variables admits a bi-Frobenius algebra structure if and only if the parameter q=±√*** if−1/∈k,then the exterior algebra with two variables admits no bi-Frobenius algebra *** prove that the quantum complete intersections admit a bialgebra structure if and only if it admits a Hopf algebra structure,if and only if it is commutative,the characteristic of k is a prime p,and every ai a power of *** also provides a large class of examples of bi-Frobenius algebras which are not bialgebras(and hence not Hopf algebras).In commutative case,other two comultiplications on complete intersection rings are given,such that they admit non-isomorphic bi-Frobenius algebra structures.

Divalent anion intercalation and etching-hydrolysis strategies to construct ultra-stable electrodes for seawater splitting

Developing stable electrodes for seawater splitting remains a great challenge due to the detachment of catalysts at a large operating current and severe anode corrosion caused by ***,divalent anion intercalation and etching-hydrolysis strategies are deployed to synthesize the ultra-stable anode,dendritic Fe(OH)_(3) grown on Ni(SO_4)_(0.3)(OH)_(1.4)–Ni(OH)_(2).Experimental results reveal that the anode exhibits good activity and excellent stability in alkaline simulated *** 500 h,the current density operated at 1.72 V remains 99.5%,about 210 m A cm^(-2).The outstanding stability originates from the etchinghydrolysis strategy,which strengthens the interaction between the catalyst and the carrier and retards thus the detachment of catalysts at a large current ***,theoretical simulations confirm that the intercalated divalent anions,such as SO_4^(2-) and CO_(3)^(2-),can weaken the adsorption strength of chlorine on the surface of catalysts and hinder the coupling and hybridization between chlorine and nickel,which slows down the anode corrosion and improves catalytic ***,the twoelectrode system shows the remarkable 95.1% energy efficiency at 2,000 A m-2and outstanding stability in 6 mol l^(-1) KOH +seawater at 80 ℃.

A comparison of cross-correlation-based and phasecorrelation-based image registration algorithms for optical coherence tomographic angiography

A large field of view is in high demand for disease diagnosis in clinical applications of optical coherence tomography(OCT)and OCT angiography(OCTA)*** to limits on the optical scanning range,the scanning speed,or the data processing speed,only a relatively small region could be acquired and processed for most of the current clinical OCT systems at one time and could generate a mosaic image of multiple adjacent small-region images with registration algorithms for disease *** this work,we investigated performing cross-correlation(instead of phase-correlation)in the workflow of the Fourier–Mellin transform(FMT)method(called dual-cross-correlation-based translation and rotation registration,DCCTRR)for calculating translation and orientation offsets and compared its performance to the FMT method used on OCTA images *** phantom and in vivo experiments were implemented for comparisons,and the results quantitatively demonstrate that DCCTRR can align OCTA images with a lower overlap rate,which could improve the scanning efficiency of large-scale imaging in clinical applications.

Image-Based Flow Prediction of Vocal Folds Using 3D Convolutional Neural Networks

In this work,a three dimensional(3D)convolutional neural network(CNN)model based on image slices of various normal and pathological vocal folds is proposed for accurate and efficient prediction of glottal *** 3D CNN model is composed of the feature extraction block and regression *** feature extraction block is capable of learning low dimensional features from the high dimensional image data of the glottal shape,and the regression block is employed to flatten the output from the feature extraction block and obtain the desired glottal flow *** input image data is the condensed set of 2D image slices captured in the axial plane of the 3D vocal folds,where these glottal shapes are synthesized based on the equations of normal vibration *** output flow data is the corresponding flow rate,averaged glottal pressure and nodal pressure distributions over the glottal *** 3D CNN model is built to establish the mapping between the input image data and output flow *** ground-truth flow variables of each glottal shape in the training and test datasets are obtained by a high-fidelity sharp-interface immersed-boundary *** proposed model is trained to predict the concerned flow variables for glottal shapes in the test *** present 3D CNN model is more efficient than traditional Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)models while the accuracy can still be retained,and more powerful than previous data-driven prediction models because more details of the glottal flow can be *** prediction performance of the trained 3D CNN model in accuracy and efficiency indicates that this model could be promising for future clinical applications.

Surface Elastic Effects on Electromechanical Responses of a Piezoelectric Semiconducting Nanobeam

Piezoelectric semiconductors(PSCs)find extensive applications in modern smart electronic devices because of their dual properties of being piezoelectric and *** the increasing demand for miniaturization of these devices,the performance of their components needs to be carefully designed and optimized,especially when reduced to *** has been shown that surface elastic properties play a substantial role in the mechanical performance of nanoscale materials and *** on this understanding,the surface elastic effects,encompassing surface residual stress,surface membrane stiffness,and surface bending stiffness,are comprehensively taken into account to explore the electromechanical responses of a PSC ***,the flexoelectric effect on their responses is also systematically *** results of this work reveal that surface elastic properties predominantly influence mechanical performance,while the flexoelectric effect plays a more dominant role in electric-related quantities at the ***,the significance of surface bending rigidity,which was often underestimated in the earlier literature,is ***,owing to the flexoelectric effect,the linear distribution of electric potential and charge carriers along the length transforms into a nonlinear *** distributions of electric potential and charge carriers across the cross section are also evidently ***,the size-dependent responses are *** findings may provide valuable insights for optimizing electronic devices based on nanoscale PSCs.

Multi-modal imaging for the diagnosis of spontaneous visceral artery dissection:A case report

BACKGROUND Spontaneous visceral artery dissection(SVAD)is a rare condition that affects the visceral arteries,such as the celiac,superior mesenteric,and inferior mesenteric arteries,without involving the *** ischemia or hemorrhage from vessel rupture can occur in SVAD;therefore,prompt detection and management is ***-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)has been used to diagnose most of the previous cases,but few studies have explored the potential of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)for early detection of this *** SUMMARy A 53-year-old male presented with complaints of poor appetite and abnormal liver function for the past 6 *** had previously undergone transabdominal splenectomy,esophagogastric devascularization,and cholecystectomy for gallstones and severe portal *** ultrasound was performed in our department to assess liver *** abnormal hepatic artery spectrum was observed,and dissection involving both the celiac artery and the common hepatic artery was observed.A CEUS was then performed and clearly showed the entry site of the intimal tear and the false lumen,and dissection was subsequently confirmed by *** patient was asymptomatic;therefore,treatment to control the blood pressure was provided,and follow-up was *** 6 months of follow-up,the celiac artery was found to be dilated with an adherent thrombus visible in the wall,and the common hepatic artery was occluded with the presence of *** these findings,no significant changes in liver function were *** Multi-modal imaging is effective in diagnosing SVAD,and conservative treatment is a choice for asymptomatic patients.
