This paper studies the problem of time-varying formation control with finite-time prescribed performance for nonstrict feedback second-order multi-agent systems with unmeasured states and unknown *** eliminate nonlinearities,neural networks are applied to approximate the inherent dynamics of the *** addition,due to the limitations of the actual working conditions,each follower agent can only obtain the locally measurable partial state information of the leader *** address this problem,a neural network state observer based on the leader state information is ***,a finite-time prescribed performance adaptive output feedback control strategy is proposed by restricting the sliding mode surface to a prescribed region,which ensures that the closed-loop system has practical finite-time stability and that formation errors of the multi-agent systems converge to the prescribed performance bound in finite ***,a numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the developed algorithm.

following our earlier work on tomographic reconstruction of the magnetosheath soft X-ray emissions with superposed epoch analysis of many images recorded from a single spacecraft we now explore the instantaneous reconstruction of the magnetosheath and magnetopause using a few images recorded simultaneously from a few *** work is motivated by the prospect of possibly having two or three soft X-ray imagers in space in the coming years,and that many phenomena which occur at the magnetopause boundary,such as reconnection events and pressure pulse responses,do not lend themselves as well to superposed epoch *** the reconstruction is successful-which we demonstrate in this paper that it can be-this collection of imagers can be used to reconstruct the magnetosheath and magnetopause from a single image from each spacecraft,allowing for high time resolution *** this paper we explore the reconstruction using,two,three,and four *** show that the location of the subsolar point of the magnetopause can be determined with just two satellites,and that volume emissions of soft X-rays,and the shape of the boundary,can be reconstructed using three or more satellites.

We propose a general concealed voter model(GCVM),in which individuals interact in two layers and can exchange their opinions in the internal *** interaction is not allowed in a *** exchanging opinions in the internal layer,we mean that individuals share their real or internal opinions with their close *** process of opinion formation in GCVM is presented in the *** make the series of numerical simulations of GCVM with different network structures(both external and internal)and get some counterintuitive *** instance,we find out that sometimes with a relatively simple network structure of an external layer the consensus within the individuals’opinions cannot be reached,and if individuals in the network are not good at expressing their opinions publicly(in an external layer),exchanging opinions with their close friends(in an internal layer)is almost useless.

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity finite element(3D CPfE)simulations,co-deformation and instability of hetero-phase interface in different material systems were herein studied for polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two types of 3layer MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability can be observed in the fcc/bcc systems than in the fcc/fcc systems upon refining to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).By detailed analysis of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability is always accompanied by high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermodynamic driving forceG and the kinetic energy barrier Q during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by inserting a high density of high-energy interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high Q deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by a couple of thermodynamics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially designing MNCs.

Dear Editor,This letter focuses on the fixed-time(fXT)cluster optimization problem of first-order multi-agent systems(fOMASs)in an undirected network,in which the optimization objective is the sum of the objective functions of all clusters.A novel piecewise power-law control protocol with cooperative-competition relations is ***,a sufficient condition is obtained to ensure that the fOMASs achieve the cluster consensus within an fXT.

Exhaust gas recirculation control(EGRC),an inlet air heating technology,can be utilized in combination with inlet/variable guide vane control(IGV/VGVC) and fuel flow control(ffC) to regulate the load,thereby effectively improving the part-load(i.e.,off-design) performance of the gas turbine combined cycle(GTCC).In this study,the E-,f-,and H-Class EGR-GTCC design and off-design system models were established and validated to perform a comparative analysis of the part-load performance under the EGR-IGV-ffC and conventional IGV-ffC strategies in the E/f/H-Class *** show that EGR-IGV-ffC has considerable potential for the part-load performance enhancement and can show a higher combined cycle efficiency than IGV-ffC in the E-,f-,and H-Class ***,the part-load performance improvement in the corresponding GTCC was weakened for the higher class of the gas turbine because of the narrower load range of EGR action and the deterioration of the gas turbine ***,EGR-IGV-ffC was inferior to IGV-ffC in improving the performance at loads below 50% for the H-Class *** results obtained in this paper could help guide the application of EGR-IGV-ffC to enhance the part-load performance of various classes of GTCC systems.
