emotionIC: emotional inertia and contagion-driven dependency modeling for emotion recognition in conversation

emotion recognition in conversation(eRC) has attracted growing attention in recent years as a result of the advancement and implementation of human-computer interface technologies. In this paper,we propose an emotional inertia and contagion-driven dependency modeling approach(emotionIC) for eRC tasks. Our emotionIC consists of three main components, i.e., identity masked multi-head attention(IMMHA), dialogue-based gated recurrent unit(DiaGRU), and skip-chain conditional random field(SkipCRF).Compared to previous eRC models, emotionIC can model a conversation more thoroughly at both the feature-extraction and classification levels. The proposed model attempts to integrate the advantages of attention-and recurrence-based methods at the feature-extraction level. Specifically, IMMHA is applied to capture identity-based global contextual dependencies, while Dia GRU is utilized to extract speaker-and temporal-aware local contextual information. At the classification level, SkipCRF can explicitly mine complex emotional flows from higher-order neighboring utterances in the conversation. experimental results show that our method can significantly outperform the state-of-the-art models on four benchmark *** ablation studies confirm that our modules can effectively model emotional inertia and contagion.

Brain Transcriptome Analysis Reveals Metabolic Changes Adapting to Hyperhaline or Hypohaline environments in Spotted Scat(Scatophagus argus)

The fish brain is crucial for adjusting to environmental *** changes play a vital role in the adaptation to salinity change in aquatic ***,few studies have evaluated the responses of the fish brain to salinity *** evaluate the response to various salinities,spotted scat(Scatophagus argus)was cultured in water with salinity levels of 5(low salinity:LS),25(control group:Ctrl),and 35(high salinity group:HS)for 22 *** brain transcriptome was *** total,1698 differentially expressed genes(DeGs)were identified between the HS and Ctrl groups,and 841 DeGs were identified between the LS and Ctrl *** analysis showed that the DeGs in the HS *** comparison were involved in steroid biosynthesis,terpenoid backbone biosynthesis,fatty acid biosynthesis,ascorbate and aldarate metabolism,other types of O-glycan biosynthesis,and fatty acid *** and dicarboxylate metabolism,one carbon pool by folate,steroid biosynthesis,and cysteine and methionine metabolism were significantly enriched in the LS *** ***,the genes related to metabolism(acc,fas,hmgcr,hmgcs1,mvd,soat1,nsdhl,sqle,cel,fdft1,dnmt3a and mtr)were significantly up-regulated in the HS *** *** genes related to metabolism(lipa,sqle,acc,fas,bhmt,mpst,dnmt3a,mtr,hao2,LOC111225351 and hmgcs1)were significantly up-regulated,while hmgcr and soat1 were significantly down-regulated in the LS *** *** results suggest that salinity stress affects signaling pathways and genes’expressions involved in metabolic processes in the brain,and the differences in metabolism play an important role in adaptation to hyperhaline or hypohaline environments in spotted *** research provides a comprehensive overview of transcriptional changes in the brain under hyperhaline or hypohaline conditions,which is helpful to understand the mechanisms underlying salinity adaptation in euryhaline fishes.

Nonlinear Characteristic Analysis of Gas-Interconnected Quasi-Zero Stiffness Pneumatic Suspension System:A Theoretical and experimental Study

Because of significantly changed load and complex and variable driving road conditions of commercial vehicles,pneumatic suspension with lower natural frequencies is widely used in commercial vehicle suspension *** ever,traditional pneumatic suspension system is hardly to respond the greatly changed load of commercial vehicles To address this issue,a new Gas-Interconnected Quasi-Zero Stiffness Pneumatic Suspension(GIQZSPS)is presented in this paper to improve the vibration isolation performance of commercial vehicle suspension systems under frequent load *** new structure adds negative stiffness air chambers on traditional pneumatic suspension to reduce the natural frequency of the *** can adapt to different loads and road conditions by adjusting the solenoid valves between the negative stiffness air ***,a nonlinear mechanical model including the dimensionless stiffness characteristic and interconnected pipeline model is derived for GIQZSPS *** the nonlinear mechanical model of GIQZSPS system,the force transmissibility rate is chosen as the evaluation index to analyze ***,a testing bench simulating 1/4 GIQZSPS system is designed,and the testing analysis of the model validation and isolating performance is carried *** results show that compared to traditional pneumatic suspension,the GIQZSPS designed in the article has a lower natural *** the system can achieve better vibration isolation performance under different load states by switching the solenoid valves between air chambers.

Inhibitory effect of procyanidin B2 and tannin acid on cholesterol esterase and their synergistic effect with orlistat

This study was aimed to analyze the effect of procyanidin B2(PC)and tannin acid(TA)on the activities of cholesterol esterase(Cease)and the inhibitory mechanisms of enzymatic *** interaction mechanisms were investigated by enzymatic kinetics,multi-spectroscopy methods,thermodynamics analysis,molecular docking,and dynamic *** and TA could bind with Cease and inhibit the activity of enzyme in a mixed-competitive manner and non-competitive manner,which was verified by molecular docking simulations and dynamics ***,PC and TA showed the synergistic inhibition with ***,UVvis and the thermodynamic analysis revealed that the complexes were formed from Cease and inhibitors by noncovalent *** revealed by the circular dichroism results,both PC and TA decreased enzymatic activities by altering the conformations of *** inhibition of PC and TA on Cease might be one mechanism for its cholesterol-lowering effect.

The coupling control of biological precursors and environmental factors onβ-carotane enrichment in alkaline lacustrine source rocks:A case study from the Fengcheng formation in the western Junggar Basin,NW China

The organic-rich mudstones and dolostones of the Permian Fengcheng Formation(Fm.)are typically alkaline lacustrine source rocks,which are typified by impressively abundantβ-*** β-carotane has been well acknowledged as an effective indicator of biological sources or depositional ***,the specific biological sources of β-carotane and the coupling control of biological sources and environmental factors on the enrichment of β-carotane in the Fengcheng *** *** on a comprehensive investigation of the bulk,molecular geochemistry,and organic petrology of sedimentary rocks and the biochemistry of phytoplankton in modern alkaline lakes,we proposed a new understanding of the biological precursors of β-carotane and elucidated the enrichment mechanism of β-carotane in the Fengcheng *** results show that the biological precursors crucially control the enrichment of β-carotane in the Fengcheng *** haloalkaliphilic cyanobacteria are the primary biological sources of β-carotane,which is suggested by a good positive correlation between the 2-methylhopane index,7-+8-methyl heptadecanes/C_(max),C_(29%),and β-carotane/C_(max)in sedimentary rocks and the predominance of cyanobacteria with abundantβ-carotene in modern alkaline *** enrichment of β-carotane requires the reducing condition,and the paleoredox state that affects the enrichment of β-carotane appears to have a *** paleoclimate conditions do not considerably impact the enrichment of β-carotane,but they have some influence on the water's paleosalinity by affecting evaporation and *** it does not directly affect the enrichment of β-carotane in the Fengcheng Fm.,paleosalinity does have an impact on the cyanobacterial precursor supply and the preservation conditions.

To investigate the potential of direct ultrasonic vibration on improving the performance of magnesium alloys,this study first employed the ultrasonic vibration compression(UVC)on the solid solution treated AZ91 alloy,and explored its microstructure evolution and mechanical properties under *** only two seconds,the UVC alloys showed large deformation strains of 34.8–54.4%,and sudden increase of sample temperature to 243℃.Microstructure characterizations proved that UVC promoted the formation of abundant shear bands,fine grains,and the bimodal distribution of Mg17Al12 precipitates consisting of submicron particles located within the shear bands and nano-sized ones within the *** to the unique microstructure,the micro-hardness(and nano-hardness)value of UVC alloy was increased by 37.7%(35%)when compared with the solution-treated ***,the nano-modulus of the developed AZ91 alloy was also significantly increased to 62 GPa by statistical nanoindentation tests,which could be ascribed to increased Mg_(17)Al_(12) precipitates and decreased c/a value to some *** general,this work provides a new insight into the design and preparation of high-performance magnesium alloys by UVC at room temperature.
