Context: COVID-19 can spread rapidly.in haemodialy.is centres, leading to fatal outcomes. Implementing phy.ical measures is crucial in limiting the spread of infection. Aims: To assess adherence to phy.ical measures against SArS-Cov2 in haemodialy.is patients. Methods and Material: From 13 to 19 July.2021, we administered the questionnaire to haemodialy.is patients during or immediately.after the dialy.is session. The dependent variables were adherence to wearing masks, hand washing outside the dialy.is centre, social distancing of at least 1.5 meters, and cough and sneeze hy.iene. Statistical Analy.is Used: Data were analy.ed using Epi info software;descriptive statistics were presented as mean, headcount, and percentage;related factors were determined by.multi-logistic regression. The significance level was 5%. The Health research Ethics Committee approved the research protocol. results: 142 patients were included (mean age: 42.5 ± 14 y.ars). Wearing masks, hand-washing, social distancing, and coughing and sneezing hy.iene were observed by.88%, 75%, 47%, and 60% of patients, respectively. Conclusion: Wearing masks was the most respected phy.ical measure, while social distancing was the least respected.

The metal cutting process is accompanied by.complex stress field,strain field,temperature *** comprehensive effects of process parameters on chip morphology.cutting force,tool wear and residual stress are complex and *** element method(FEM)is considered as an effective method to predict process variables and reveal microscopic phy.ical phenomena in the cutting ***,the finite element(FE)simulation is used to research the conventional and micro scale cutting process,and the differences in the establishment of process variable FE simulation models are distinguished,thereby.improving the accuracy.of FE *** reliability.and effectiveness of FE simulation model largely.depend on the accuracy.of the simulation method,constitutive model,friction model,damage model in describing mesh element,the dy.amic mechanical behavior of materials,the tool-chip-workpiece contact process and the chip formation *** this paper,the FE models of conventional and micro process variables are comprehensively.and up-to-date reviewed for different materials and machining *** purpose is to establish a FE model that is more in line with the real cutting conditions,and to provide the possibility.for optimizing the cutting process *** development direction of FE simulation of metal cutting process is discussed,which provides guidance for future cutting process modeling.

Multifield coupling is frequently.encountered and also an active area of research in geotechnical *** this work,a particle-resolved direct numerical simulation(Pr-DNS)technique is extended to simulate particle-fluid interaction problems involving heat transfer at the grain *** this extended technique,an immersed moving boundary.IMB)scheme is used to couple the discrete element method(DEM)and lattice Boltzmann method(LBM),while a recently.proposed Dirichlet-ty.e thermal boundary.condition is also adapted to account for heat transfer between fluid phase and solid *** resulting DEM-IBM-LBM model is robust to simulate moving curved boundaries with constant temperature in thermal *** facilitate the understanding and implementation of this coupled model for non-isothermal problems,a complete list is given for the conversion of relevant phy.ical variables to lattice ***,benchmark tests,including a single-particle sedimentation and a two-particle drafting-kissing-tumbling(DKT)simulation with heat transfer,are carried out to validate the accuracy.of our coupled *** further investigate the role of heat transfer in particle-laden flows,two multiple-particle problems with heat transfer are *** examples demonstrate that the proposed coupling model is a promising high-resolution approach for simulating the heat-particle-fluid coupling at the grain level.

Patients with suspected OSA were examined using *** were divided into two groups based on the presence of *** was defined as a patient who needed to void at least *** index(AHI)was employ.d to classify.patients according to degrees of severity.AHIrmal,mild OSA,moderate OSA,and severe OSA,*** variables,PSG parameters,International Prostate Sy.ptom Scores(IPSSs),and quality.of life scores due to urinary.sy.ptoms were ***:In total 140 patients,114 patients had OSA(48 had mild OSA;34 had moderate OSA;and 32 had severe OSA)and 107 patients had *** total IPSS was significantly.higher in nocturia patients in all groups except the group of severe OSA *** the increasing severity.of OSA,more correlated factors related to nocturia were *** mild OSA patients,nocturia related to increased age(p=0.025),minimum arterial blood oxy.enation saturation(p=0.046),and decreased AHI of non-rapid ey. movement(p=0.047),AHI of total sleep time(p=0.010),and desaturation index(p=0.012).In moderate OSA patients,nocturia related to increased age(py.p=0.033),and decreased height(p=0.044),weight(p=0.025),and sleep efficiency.p=0.003).In severe OSA patients,nocturia related to increased weight(p=0.011),body.mass index(p=0.009),awake time(p=0.008),stage 1 sleep(p=0.040),arousal number(p=0.030),arousal index(p=0.013),periodic limb movement number(p=0.013),and periodic limb movement index(p=0.004),and decreased baseline arterial blood oxy.enation saturation(p=0.046).Conclusion:Our study.revealed that there were more correlated factors related to nocturia with increasing severity.of *** study.helps in clinical education and treatment for OSA patients with different severity.

This paper proposes a new method for service restoration of distribution network with the support of transportable power sources(TPSs)and repair crews(rCs).Firstly.a coupling model of distribution networks and vehicle routing of TPSs and rCs is proposed,where the TPSs serve as emergency.power supply.sources,and the rCs are used to repair the faulted *** the uncertainty.of traffic congestion,the probability.distribution of the travel time spent on each road is derived based on the Nesterov user equilibrium model,and a two-stage stochastic program is formulated to determine the optimal routings of TPSs and *** efficiently.solve the proposed stochastic mixed-integer linear program(MILP),a two-phase scenario reduction method is then developed to scale down the problem size,and an adaptive progressive hedging algorithm is used for an efficient *** effectiveness of the proposed methods and algorithms has been illustrated in a modified IEEE 33-bus sy.tem.

Electrocataly.ic 5-hy.roxy.ethy.furfural oxidation reaction（HMFOr） provides a promising strategy.to convert biomass derivative to highvalue-added chemicals. Herein, a cascade strategy.is proposed to construct Pd-Ni Co2O4electrocataly.t by.Pd loading on Ni-doped Co3O4and for highly.active and stable sy.ergistic HMF oxidation. An elevated current density.of 800 m A cm-2can be achieved at 1.5 V, and both Faradaic efficiency.and y.eld of 2,5-furandicarboxy.ic acid remained close to 100% over 10 consecutive electroly.is. Experimental and theoretical results unveil that the introduction of Pd atoms can modulate the local electronic structure of Ni/Co, which not only.balances the competitive adsorption of HMF and OH- species, but also promote the active Ni3+species formation, inducing high indirect oxidation activity. We have also discovered that Ni incorporation facilitates the Co2+pre-oxidation and electrophilic OH*generation to contribute direct oxidation process. This work provides a new approach to design advanced electrocataly.t for biomass upgrading.

Coral-like structures of the y.(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y.y._(y.O_(12),(0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0.00 ≤ y.≤ 0.02) compound were sy.thesized using the sol-gel method. Structural investigation certified the y.G cubic cry.tal structure formation, without any.secondary.phase. It is shown that, the relatively.large ionic radius of the dopant cations results in an expansion of the lattice parameter, variations in the Iona-O-Iondangle, Iona-O,Iond-O and Ionc-O bond distances and decrease in the average cry.tallite size. Fourier transform infrared(FTIr) and raman measurements are essential to testify.the single-phase formation of y.G cry.tal structure and are observed changes in the stretching and vibrational modes, respectively. The morphological study. energy.dispersive spectroscopy.EDS) spectra and textural properties show corallike structures, peaks associated with Pr^(3+) and y.^(3+) atoms and the effect of dopants on surface area,diameter, and pore volume, respectively. The optical analy.is from diffuse reflectance spectra witnessed an increase in the optical gap band, a decrease in Urbach energy.and blue shift in the charge transfer,correlated with the expansion of the unit cell due to the dopant's insertion in the y.G structure. A ty.ical ferrimagnetic behavior is exhibited by.the y.(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y.y._(y.O_(12)compound. The saturation magnetization(M_(s)), cubic anisotropy.constant(K_(1)) and coercive field(H_(c)) increase with the Pr^(3+)cations content, as consequence of their magnetic nature and distribution around of Fe^(3+)ions due to the coexistence with the y.^(3+). Finally. for the first time, antibacterial tests by.mean of the direct contact method were performed for y.G co-doped with Pr^(3+)and y.^(3+)and it is shown that, relatively.high dosages of Pr^(3+) cations favored the activity.against S. aureus, therefore, a new biological property.for y.G doped with rare earths is presented.

Investigating the impact of the universal function of the nuclear proximity.potential in heavy.ion fusion cross sections

The fusion barriers and cross sections of 15 colliding sy.tems with 320≤Z_(1)Z_(2)≤1512 are investigated in detail to understand the influence of the universal function of proximity.potential formalism in the heavy.ion fusion *** realize this goal,we select three versions of the phenomenological proximity.potentials,including Prox.77,Zhang 2013,and Guo 2013,to calculate the nucleus-nucleus *** experimental fusion cross sections for the selected reactions are analy.ed using the standard coupled-channel calculations,including couplings to the low-ly.ng 2^(+)and 3^(-)states in the target and *** calculated results show that the universal functions of the Guo 2013 and Prox.77 models provide the lowest and highest fusion barriers,*** addition,it is found that the height of the fusion barriers is enhanced by.increasing the mass number of the projectile from light to heavy.*** highest sensitivity.to the mass number of the projectile belongs to the results of Prox.77.A discussion is also presented on the influence of the universal function on the radial behavior of the interaction potential in the allowed region for overlapping *** results reveal that the best fit to the experimental data of the fusion cross sections for the reactions involving light and medium nuclei is obtained using the universal function of the Zhang 2013 *** the heavier sy.tems,the results of the Guo 2013 model at sub-barrier energies provide a good description of the available data.
