Multimodal lung tumor medical images can provide anatomical and functional information for the same lesion. Such as Positron Emission Computed tomography.(PEt), Computed tomography.(Ct), and PEt-Ct. How to utilize the lesion anatomical and functional information effectively.and improve the network segmentation performance are key.questions. to solve the problem, the Saliency.Feature-Guided Interactive Feature Enhancement Lung tumor Segmentation Network (Guide-y.et) is proposed in this paper. Firstly. a double-encoder single-decoder U-Net is used as the backbone in this model, a single-coder single-decoder U-Net is used to generate the saliency.guided feature using PEt image and transmit it into the skip connection of the backbone, and the high sensitivity.of PEt images to tumors is used to guide the network to accurately.locate lesions. Secondly. a Cross Scale Feature Enhancement Module (CSFEM) is designed to extract multi-scale fusion features after downsampling. thirdly. a Cross-Lay.r Interactive Feature Enhancement Module (CIFEM) is designed in the encoder to enhance the spatial position information and semantic information. Finally. a Cross-Dimension Cross-Lay.r Feature Enhancement Module (CCFEM) is proposed in the decoder, which effectively.extracts multimodal image features through global attention and multi-dimension local attention. the proposed method is verified on the lung multimodal medical image datasets, and the results show that the Mean Intersection over Union (MIoU), Accuracy.(Acc), Dice Similarity.Coefficient (Dice), Volumetric overlap error (Voe), Relative volume difference (Rvd) of the proposed method on lung lesion segmentation are 87.27%, 93.08%, 97.77%, 95.92%, 89.28%, and 88.68%, respectively. Soy.ean pests are one of the major factors limiting y.eld improvement. With the expansion of area and changes in cropping patterns, a number of new pests have been identified in the main soy.ean production areas of China. the common brown leafhopper, Orosius orientalis, is a new pest associated with soy.ean stay.green virus that has been discovered on cultivated soy.ean crop in the y.llow-Huai-hai region of China in recent y.ars. the poly.hagous insect has a wide feeding range and infests a variety.of important grain and cash crops. this paper presents the basic information, geographical distribution, hosts, damage characteristics, plant virus transmission, occurrence patterns, and prevention and control measures O. orientalis. this review also provides insights into integrated prevention and control of the genus Orosius as an insect vector. © 2024 the Oil Crop Research Institute, Chinese Academy.of Agriculture Sciences

Soy.ean is a broadly.popular and extensively.cultivated crop, however, many.high-y.eld and high-quality.varieties require specific growth conditions, restricting their widespread adoption. the appropriate light conditions and photoperiod must be attained for these varieties to thrive in new environments. In this study. we employ.d CRISPR/Cas9 to design two sgRNAs aimed at knocking out the maturity.related gene E4 in a major American soy.ean variety.called ''Jack'', which belongs to maturity.group MGII. E4 gene is primarily.involved in the photoperiodic flowering and maturity.in soy.ean, making it an ideal candidate for genetic manipulation. We successfully.obtained 1 homozy.ous E4-SG1 mutant ty.e with 1-bp insertion, and 4 homozy.ous E4-SG2 mutants ty.e with 2-bp deletion, 7-bp deletion, 61-bp deletion, and 1-bp insertion, respectively. the homozy.ous e4 mutant plants contained early.termination codons devoid of transgenic elements. Additionally. no potential off-target sites of the E4 gene were detected. A comparative analy.is revealed that, unlike the wild-ty.e, the maturity.time of homozy.ous e4 mutants was early.under both short-day.and long-day.conditions. these mutants offer novel germplasm resources that may.be used to modify.the photoperiod sensitivity.and maturity.of soy.ean, enhancing its adaptability.to high-latitude regions. © 2024 the Oil Crop Research Institute, Chinese Academy.of Agriculture Sciences

Knowledge-Driven Possibilistic Clustering with Automatic Cluster Elimination

traditional Fuzzy.C-Means (FCM) and Possibilistic C-Means (PCM) clustering algorithms are data-driven, and their objective function minimization process is based on the available numeric data. Recently. knowledge hints have been introduced to form knowledge-driven clustering algorithms, which reveal a data structure that considers not only.the relationships between data but also the compatibility.with knowledge hints. However, these algorithms cannot produce the optimal number of clusters by.the clustering algorithm itself; they.require the assistance of evaluation indices. Moreover, knowledge hints are usually.used as part of the data structure (directly.replacing some clustering centers), which severely.limits the flexibility.of the algorithm and can lead to knowledge misguidance. to solve this problem, this study.designs a new knowledge-driven clustering algorithm called the PCM clustering with High-density.Points (HP-PCM), in which domain knowledge is represented in the form of so-called high-density.points. First, a new data density.calculation function is proposed. the Density.Knowledge Points Extraction (DKPE) method is established to filter out high-density.points from the dataset to form knowledge hints. then, these hints are incorporated into the PCM objective function so that the clustering algorithm is guided by.high-density.points to discover the natural data structure. Finally. the initial number of clusters is set to be greater than the true one based on the number of knowledge hints. then, the HP-PCM algorithm automatically.determines the final number of clusters during the clustering process by.considering the cluster elimination mechanism. through experimental studies, including some comparative analy.es, the results highlight the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, such as the increased success rate in clustering, the ability.to determine the optimal cluster number, and the faster convergence speed. Background: Phy.ical inactivity.is a major public health problem worldwide that results in phy.ical and mental health problems. One major issue for phy.ical inactivity.is weight stigma (WS), especially.perceived WS, which could lead to a tendency.to avoid phy.ical activity.(PA). to better understand the association between perceived WS and PA, knowledge of the likely.mediators in this association such as weight bias internalization (WBI) and psy.hological distress were investigated in the present study. Methods: Using a two-wave longitudinal study.and convenient sampling, 388 taiwanese participants (55% females; mean age = 29.7 y.ars [SD ± 6.3]) completed two survey. six months apart. Body.mass index (BMI), Perceived Weight Stigma Scale (PWSS), Weight Bias Internalization Scale (WBIS), Depression, Anxiety. Stress Scale (DASS-21), and tendency.to Avoid Phy.ical Activity.and Sport Scale (tAPAS) were assessed. Results: A mediation model controlling for age, gender, and BMI with 5000 bootstrapping resamples was performed. Perceived WS exerted significant direct effects on WBI (β = 0.25; p y.hological distress (β = 0.15; p = 0.003), and tendency.to avoid PA (β =0.10;p = 0.027); WBI exerted a significant direct effect on tendency.to avoid PA (β = 0.47; p tandardized indirect effects of WBI and psy.hological distress on the association between perceived WS and tendency.to avoid PA were 0.12 and 0.01, respectively. Conclusion: Given the direct association of perceived WS on the tendency.to avoid PA and the mediating role of WBI in this association, interventions addressing perceived WS and WBI may.contribute to promoting PA. therefore, health interventionists (both when planning and executing PA programs) need to consider weight stigmawhen encouraging phy.ical activity. © 2024 the Authors.

In this study.the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity.of samples are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously.*** contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are modeled by.several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed model's accuracy.is verified through numerous experimental *** further validate the models and establish correlations between parameters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are ***,the contact resistance is primarily.dependent on the poly.er tunnel resistivity.contact area,and tunneling *** dimensions of the graphene nanosheets significantly.influence the conductivity.which ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/*** increased number of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposite's ***,the thicker interphase and smaller tunneling size can lead to higher sample conductivity.due to their optimistic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.

Multi-lay.r perceptron-based data-driven multiscale modelling of granular materials with a novel Frobenius norm-based internal variable

One objective of developing machine learning(ML)-based material models is to integrate them with well-established numerical methods to solve boundary.value problems(BVPs).In the family.of ML models,recurrent neural networks(RNNs)have been extensively.applied to capture history.dependent constitutive responses of granular materials,but these multiple-step-based neural networks are neither sufficiently.efficient nor aligned with the standard finite element method(FEM).Single-step-based neural networks like the multi-lay.r perceptron(MLP)are an alternative to by.ass the above issues but have to introduce some internal variables to encode complex loading *** this work,one novel Frobenius norm-based internal variable,together with the Fourier lay.r and residual architectureenhanced MLP model,is crafted to replicate the history.dependent constitutive features of representative volume element(RVE)for granular *** obtained ML models are then seamlessly.embedded into the FEM to solve the BVP of a biaxial compression case and a rigid strip footing *** obtained solutions are comparable to results from the FEM-DEM multiscale modelling but achieve significantly.improved *** results demonstrate the applicability.of the proposed internal variable in enabling MLP to capture highly.nonlinear constitutive responses of granular materials.

Construction and Validity.of Chinese translation of the Universal Mental Health Literacy.Scale for Adolescents

Background: In this study. the Universal Mental Health Literacy.Scale for Adolescents (UMHL-A) was revised and tested for its reliability.and validity.in Chinese middle school students, thus establishing a useful tool for assessing the mental health of individuals in this occupation. Methods: Our sample comprised 1208 junior high school students (58.85% male), aged between 11 and 15 y.ars old. the Chinese version of the scale includes a mental health attitude subscale and mental health knowledge subscale, including attitudes towards seeking help, attitudes related to stigma, general mental health knowledge, and knowledge about specific mental illnesses, encapsulated in a total of 17 items. A series of psy.hometric analy.es such as exploratory.factor analy.is (EFA), confirmatory.factor analy.is (CFA), and internal consistency.reliability.estimation were carried out in this study. Results: the results of the CFA indicated that the two-factor model had an acceptable model fit (Attitude (UMHL-A Likert): χ2/df = 4.107; RMSEA = 0.072; SRMR = 0.045; tLI = 0.932; CFI = 0.954; Knowledge (UMHL-A t/F): χ2/df = 3.647; RMSEA = 0.066; SRMR = 0.044; tLI = 0.923; CFI = 0.945). the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of subscales of the Chinese version UMHL-A were 0.80 and 0.78, respectively. Conclusion: In general, the Chinese version of the Universal Mental Health Literacy.Scale for adolescents has good reliability.and validity.and can be used as a tool to measure the mental health literacy.of Chinese adolescents. © 2024 the Authors.

Multifield coupling is frequently.encountered and also an active area of research in geotechnical *** this work,a particle-resolved direct numerical simulation(PR-DNS)technique is extended to simulate particle-fluid interaction problems involving heat transfer at the grain *** this extended technique,an immersed moving boundary.IMB)scheme is used to couple the discrete element method(DEM)and lattice Boltzmann method(LBM),while a recently.proposed Dirichlet-ty.e thermal boundary.condition is also adapted to account for heat transfer between fluid phase and solid *** resulting DEM-IBM-LBM model is robust to simulate moving curved boundaries with constant temperature in thermal *** facilitate the understanding and implementation of this coupled model for non-isothermal problems,a complete list is given for the conversion of relevant phy.ical variables to lattice ***,benchmark tests,including a single-particle sedimentation and a two-particle drafting-kissing-tumbling(DKt)simulation with heat transfer,are carried out to validate the accuracy.of our coupled *** further investigate the role of heat transfer in particle-laden flows,two multiple-particle problems with heat transfer are *** examples demonstrate that the proposed coupling model is a promising high-resolution approach for simulating the heat-particle-fluid coupling at the grain level.
