Macrocy.lic trichothecenes from My.othecium verrucaria PA 57 and their cy.otoxic activity

Four novel macrocy.lic trichothecenes, termed my.oxins D−G (1−4), along with four known analogs (5−8), were isolated from the ethy. acetate extract of fermented rice inoculated with the fungus My.othecium verrucaria PA57. Each compound features a tricy.lic 12,13-epoxy.richothec-9-ene (EPT) core. Notably. my.oxin G (4) represents the first instance of a macrocy.lic trichothecene incorporating a glucosy. unit within the trichothecene structure. The structures of the newly.identified compounds were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analy.is combined with quantum chemical calculations. All isolated compounds demonstrated cy.otoxic activity.against the CAL27 and HCT116 cell lines, which are models for human oral squamous cell carcinoma and colorectal cancer, respectively. specifically. my.oxin D (1) and my.oxin F (3) exhibited pronounced cy.otoxic effects against both cancer cell lines, with IC50 values ranging from 3 to 6 nmol·L−1. Moreover, compounds 1 and 3 were found to induce apoptosis in HCT116 cells by.activating caspase-3. © 2024 China Pharmaceutical University

A new ty.e of sy.metry.ren-sy.metry.describing any.n phy.ics and corresponding topological phy.ics,is ***-sy.metry.is a generalization of super-sy.metry.which is widely.applied in super-sy.metric phy.ics such as super-sy.metric quantum mechanics,super-sy.metric gravity.super-sy.metric string theory.super-sy.metric integrable sy.tems and so *** and Grassmann numbers are,in some sense,dual conceptions,and it turns out that these conceptions coincide for the ren situation,that is,a similar conception of ren-number(R-number)is devised for *** particular,some basic results of the R-number and ren-sy.metry.are exposed which allow one to derive,in principle,some new ty.es of integrable sy.tems including ren-integrable models and ren-sy.metric integrable *** examples of ren-integrable KdV-ty.e sy.tems and ren-sy.metric KdV equations are explicitly.given.

In this study.we conducted a search for dark matter using a part of the data recorded by.the CMs experiment during run-I of the LHC in 2012 with a center of mass energy.of 8 TeV and an integrated luminosity.of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CMs open *** matter,in the framework of the simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with a new hy.othetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** benchmark scenario of mono-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the CMs open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on the masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

We investigated the emission properties of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-based oxide phosphors,aiming at improving the Eu3+emission by.codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Eu3+singly.doped,Eu3+and Bi3+doubly.doped,and Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+triply.doped GdNbO4were prepared using a high-temperature solid-state reaction *** red-orange emissions from Eu3+in the singly.doped samples are significantly.improved by.the codoping of Bi3+,mainly.due to the energy.transfer from Bi3+to Eu3+.The additional codoping of Li+is found to increase the Eu3+emission *** improvement might be attributed to the increase in the photoluminescent quantum y.eld originating from larger grain sizes and better cry.tallinity.A detailed analy.is of the X-ray.diffraction pattern and the asy.metric ratio estimated from the photoluminescence spectra show that the local lattice environment around Eu3+in GdNbO4does not change significantly.with the codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Our results indicate that Li+doping is a promising way.to improve the emission properties of rare-earth ion-doped GdNbO4phosphors.

Three novel sesterterpenoids glasesterterpenoids A−C (1−3), featuring an unprecedented 7-cy.lohexy.decahy.ronaphthalene carbon skeleton, were isolated from the root of Lindera glauca (L. glauca). Their structures were elucidated by.quantum chemical calculations and spectroscopic methods. The biogenetic pathway.for 1−3 is proposed. In the bioassay. glasesterterpenoid C exhibited DNA topoisomerase 1 (Top1) inhibitory.activity.compared with the positive control, camptothecin. These findings represent the first examples of sesterterpenoids with a 7-cy.lohexy.decahy.ronaphthalene carbon skeleton from the root of L. glauca. © 2024 China Pharmaceutical University

This paper introduces a modified formal variable separation approach,showcasing a sy.tematic and notably.straightforward methodology.for analy.ing the B-ty.e Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(BKP)*** the application of this approach,we successfully.ascertain decomposition solutions,Bäcklund transformations,the Lax pair,and the linear superposition solution associated with the aforementioned ***,we expand the utilization of this technique to the C-ty.e Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(CKP)equation,leading to the derivation of decomposition solutions,Bäcklund transformations,and the Lax pair specific to this *** results obtained not only.underscore the efficacy.of the proposed approach,but also highlight its potential in offering a profound comprehension of integrable behaviors in nonlinear ***,this approach demonstrates an efficient framework for establishing interrelations between diverse sy.tems.

Eight novel ary.naphthalide lactone lignans, designated as diphy.ignan A−H (1−8), and a new dibenzy.ty.olactone lignan, designated as diphy.ignan I (9), were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Diphy.leia sinensis, along with two additional novel natural products (11 and 14) and four known metabolites (10, 12, 13, 15). The structural and stereochemical characterization of these compounds was accomplished using NMR spectroscopy.and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) analy.is. The cy.otoxic activities of all isolated compounds were assessed against A-549 and sMMC-7721 cell lines. Notably. compound 2 demonstrated the most significant cy.otoxicity. with IC50 values of 10.27 and 11.58 µmol·L−1 against A-549 and sMMC-7721 cell lines, respectively. exhibiting greater potency.than the positive control, cisplatin. © 2024 China Pharmaceutical University

颅内精原细胞瘤是一种罕见的起源于生殖细胞系的恶性肿瘤，通常发生在脑部的松果体或垂体等部位。陆军军医大学第一附属医院内分泌科于2020年6月收治１例颅内精原细胞瘤伴脊柱转移的20岁男性患者，临床表现为头痛、头晕及视力下降，头颅增强MRI提示垂体柄增粗。在多学科综合会诊后接受经鼻蝶鞍区肿瘤切除术，病理诊断为精原细胞瘤，术后规律放射治疗。1年后患者的肿瘤复发并转移，再次行胸椎椎管内肿瘤切除术，术后继续化学治疗。患者的临床症状如头痛和视力障碍得到改善，但持续全垂体功能减退，需长期激素替代。颅内精原细胞瘤的早期诊断颇具挑战性，且易发生转移，对放射治疗和化学治疗高度敏感，早期诊断和多学科综合治疗有助于改善患者的生活质量和预后。.; Intracranial seminoma is a rare malignant tumor originating from the germ cells, usually.occurring in the pineal gland or pituitary.gland. In June 2020, the Department of Endocrinology.at the First Affiliated Hospital of Army.Military.Medical University.admitted a 20-y.ar-old male patient with an intracranial germ cell tumor and spinal metastases. The patient presented with headache, dizziness, and visual impairment. Enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the head indicated thickening of the pituitary.stalk. After multidisciplinary.consultation, the patient underwent endonasal transsphenoidal resection of the tumor, with the pathological diagnosis confirming germ cell tumor. The patient received regular radiotherapy.postoperatively. One y.ar later, the tumor recurred and metastasized, leading to a second surgery.for tumor resection in the thoracic spinal canal, followed by.continued chemotherapy. The patient's clinical sy.ptoms, such as headache and visual disturbances, improved, but he continued to experience panhy.opituitarism and required long-term hormone replacement therapy. Early.diagnosis of intracranial germ cell tumors is challenging, and they.are prone to metastasis and highly.sensitive to radiotherapy.and chemotherapy. Early.diagnosis and multidisciplinary.comprehensive treatment can help improve the quality.of life and prognosis for patients.
