Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stabilizing hetero-phase interface of metal matrix composites by.cry.tal plasticity.finite element method

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension cry.tal plasticity.finite element(3D CPFE)simulations,co-deformation and instability.of hetero-phase interface in different material sy.tems were herein studied for poly.ry.talline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two ty.es of 3lay.r MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability.can be observed in the fcc/bcc sy.tems than in the fcc/fcc sy.tems upon refining to metallic nanolay.red composites(MNCs).By.detailed analy.is of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability.is alway. accompanied by.high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermody.amic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermody.amic driving forceG and the kinetic energy.barrier Q during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify.the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by.inserting a high density.of high-energy.interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high Q deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently.suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by.a couple of thermody.amics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially.designing MNCs.

An externally.generated resonant magnetic perturbation can induce complex non-ideal MHD responses in their resonant *** have studied the plasma responses using Fitzpatrick's improved two-fluid model and program *** calculated the error field penetration threshold for *** addition,we find that the island width increases slightly.as the error field amplitude increases when the error field amplitude is below the critical penetration ***,the island width suddenly.j.mps to a large value because the shielding effect of the plasma against the error field disappears after the *** scanning the natural mode frequency.we find that the shielding effect of the plasma decreases as the natural mode frequency.***,we obtain the m/n=2/1 penetration threshold scaling on density.and temperature.

The Brown-Preston-Singleton(BPS)stopping power model is added to our previously.developed hy.rid code to model ion beam-plasma *** simulations show that both resistive field and ion scattering effects are important for proton beam transport in a solid target,in which they.compete with each *** the target is not completely.ionized,the self-generated resistive field effect dominates over the ion scattering ***,when the target is completely.ionized,this situation is ***,it is found that Ohmic heating is important for higher current densities and materials with high *** energy.fraction deposited as Ohmic heating can be as high as 20%-30%.Ty.ical ion divergences with half-angles of about 5°-10°will modify.the proton energy.deposition substantially.and should be taken into account.

Chemical investigations of the termite-associated Streptomy.es tanashiensis By.-112 resulted in the discovery.of four novel alkaloid derivatives: vegfrecines A and B (1 and 2), exfoliazone A (3), and venezueline H (7), in addition to nine known metabolites (4−6, 8−13). The structures of these compounds were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analy.is and comparison with existing literature data. Antibacterial assay. revealed that viridomy.in A (11) exhibited potent antibacterial activity.against Staphy.ococcus aureus, with a zone of inhibition (ZOI) of 12.67 mm, in comparison to a ZOI of 17.67 mm for the positive control gentamicin sulfate. Viridomy.in A (11) showed moderate activity.against Micrococcus tetragenus and Pseudomonas sy.ingae pv. actinidae, with ZOI values of 15.50 and 14.33 mm, respectively. which were inferior to those of gentamicin sulfate (34.67 and 24.00 mm). Viridomy.in F (12) also exhibited moderate antibacterial effects against S. aureus, M. tetragenus, and P. sy.ingae pv. actinidae, with ZOI values of 8.33, 16.50, and 10.83 mm, respectively. Cy.otoxicity.assay. demonstrated that viridobruunine A (5), exfoliazone (6), viridomy.in A (11), and X-14881E (13) exhibited significant cy.otoxicity.against human malignant melanoma (A375), ovarian cancer (SKOV-3), and gastric cancer (MGC-803) cell lines, with IC50 values ranging from 4.61 to 19.28 μmol·L−1. Furthermore, bioinformatic analy.is of the complete genome of S. tanashiensis suggested a putative biosy.thetic gene cluster (BGC) responsible for the production of compounds 1−12. These findings indicate that the secondary.metabolites of insect-associated S. tanashiensis By.-112 hold promise as potential sources of novel antibacterial and anticancer agents. © 2024 China Pharmaceutical University

Spatial transcriptomics is an organizational study.done on tissue sections that preserves the spatial information of the sample. Spatial transcriptomics aims to combine spatial information with gene expression data to quantify.the mRNA expression of a large number of genes in the spatial context of tissues and cells. As a paradigm shift in biological research, spatial transcriptomics can provide both spatial location information and transcriptome-level cellular gene expression data, elucidating the interactions between cells and the microenvironment. From the understanding of the entire functional life cy.le of RNA to the characterization of molecular mechanisms to the mapping of gene expression in various tissue regions, by.choosing the appropriate spatial transcriptome technology. researchers can achieve a deeper exploration of biological developmental processes, disease pathogenesis, etc. In recent y.ars, the field of spatial transcriptomics has ushered in several challenges along with its rapid development, such as the dependence on sample ty.es, the resolution of visualized genes, the difficulty.of commercialization, and the ability.to obtain detailed single-cell information. In this paper, we summarize and review the four maj.r categories of spatial transcriptome technologies and compare and analy.e the technical advantages and maj.r challenges of multiple research strategies to assist current experimental design and research analy.is. Finally. the importance of spatial transcriptomics in the integration of multi-omics naly.is and disease modeling as well as the future development prospects are summarized and outlined. © 2024, Department of Chemistry. Plastic pollution, both primary.and secondary. is an environmental challenge, prompting regulatory.actions at global and regional levels. With increasing research about the impacts of micro- and nanoplastics on ecosy.tems and human health, governments worldwide have undertaken efforts to address this issue. The global community.has advanced regulatory.efforts that have led to the implementation of national laws or regulations in numerous countries. These measures ban or restrict the use of primary.and secondary.microplastics and nanoplastics. An overview of global and European regulatory.frameworks is presented to provide context for the United States (US). In the endeavor to document plastics regulation development in the US, a description of regulatory.agencies and their roles in advancing policy.and rules as well as future direction and areas for improvement in regulating plastics are introduced. A discussion of what emerging regulations mean to utilities and industries is also provided along with a comparison of regulatory.frameworks.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg alloy. seriously.limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy.coating easily.forms many.intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study.we design a double-lay.r epoxy.composite coating on Mg alloy.with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembly.*** outer lay.r is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy.resin(WEP)and the inner lay.r is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously.dispersed within the epoxy.matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer lay.r with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare Mg alloy.and the wear rate is decreased by.90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the laby.inth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** sy.ergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking lay.r exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of Mg alloy..

This research introduces a novel approach to improve and optimize the predictive capacity.of consumer purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms. This study.presented an introduction to the fundamental concepts of the logistic regression algorithm. In addition, it analy.ed user data obtained from an e-commerce platform. The original data were preprocessed, and a consumer purchase prediction model was developed for the e-commerce platform using the logistic regression method. The comparison study.used the classic random forest approach, further enhanced by.including the K-fold cross-validation method. Evaluation of the accuracy.of the model’s classification was conducted using performance indicators that included the accuracy.rate, the precision rate, the recall rate, and the F1 score. A visual examination determined the significance of the findings. The findings suggest that employ.ng the logistic regression algorithm to forecast customer purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms can improve the efficacy.of the approach and y.eld more accurate predictions. This study.serves as a valuable resource for improving the precision of forecasting customers’ purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms. It has significant practical implications for optimizing the operational efficiency.of e-commerce platforms.
