AIM： To d.scribe the prevalence of transfusiontransmitted.virus （TTV） infection in association with hepatitis A-E viral infections in d.fferent forms of liver d.seases in North Ind.a. METHOd.： Sera from a total number of 137 patients, includ.ng 37 patients with acute viral hepatitis （AVH）, 37 patients with chronic viral hepatitis （CVH）, 31 patients with cirrhosis of liver and.32 patients with fulminant hepatic failure （FHF）, were analy.ed.both for TTV-d.A and.hepatitis A-E viral markers. Presence of hepatitis B virus （HBV）, hepatitis C virus （HCV） and.hepatitis E virus （HEV） infections was d.tected.in d.fferent proportions in d.fferent groups. Moreover, rrV-d.A was simultaneously.tested.in 100 healthy.blood.d.nors also. RESULTS： None of the patients had.hepatitis A virus （HAV） and.hepatitis d.virus （Hd.） infections. Overall prevalence of TTV-d.A was d.tected.in 27.1% cases with AVH, 18.9% cases with CVH, 48.4% cases with cirrhosis and.9.4% cases with FHF. TTV-d.A simultaneously.tested.in 100 healthy.blood.d.nors showed.27% positivity. On establishing a relation between TTV infection with other hepatitis viral infections, TTV d.monstrated.co-infection with HBV, HCV and.HEV in these d.sease groups. Correlation of TTV with ALT level in sera d.d.not d.monstrate high ALT level in TTV-infected.patients, suggesting that TI-V d.es not cause severe liver d.mage. CONCLUSION： TTV infection is prevalent both in patients and.healthy.ind.vid.als in Ind.a. However, it d.es not have any.significant correlation with other hepatitis viral infections, nor d.es it prod.ce an evid.nce of severe liver d.mage in patients with liver d.seases.

In recent y.ars, mountain regions are attracting great attention to Ind.an tourists in general and.foreign tourists in particular. The potential mountain resources for promoting green tourism are enormous in the form of natural and.cultural heritage such as biosphere reserves, flora and.fauna, lakes and.rivers and.trad.tional rural resources. In ord.r to utilise tourism ind.stry.market, uncontrolled.numbers of tourists and.related.haphazard.infrastructural facilities in the vulnerable mountain regions pose serious environmental implications. The ecological pressures are threatening land. water and.wild.life resources through d.rect and.ind.rect environmental impacts together with generation of solid.and.liquid.wastes, so green tourism is emerging as an important task in ord.r to d.velop new relationship between communities, government agencies and.private sectors. The strategy.focuses on ecological und.rstand.ng, environmental protection and.ecod.velopment. The major attributes of the green tourism includ. environmental conservation and.ed.cation and.d.stribution of income to local people based.on strong partnership. Various knowled.e sy.tems go a long way.for achieving the goals of the green tourism, which creates awareness about the value of environmental resources. In this paper,the spatio-temporal variation and.propagation d.rection of coal fire were stud.ed.in the Jharia Coalfield.JCF),Ind.a d.ring 2006–2015 through satellite-based.night-time land.surface temperature(LST)*** LST was retrieved.from Ad.anced.Spaceborne Thermal Emission and.Reflection Rad.ometer(ASTER)night-time thermal-infrared.d.ta by.a robust split-wind.w algorithm based.on scene-specific regression coefficients,band.specific hy.rid.emissivity.and.night-time atmospheric *** LST-profile-based.coal fire d.tection algorithm was formulated.through statistical analy.is of the LST values along multiple transects across d.verse coal fire locations in the JCF in ord.r to compute d.te-specific threshold.temperatures for separating thermally.anomalous and.background.*** algorithm efficiently.separates surface fire,subsurface fire,and.thermally.anomalous transitional *** the observation period.it was noticed.that the coal fire area increased.significantly.which resulted.from new coal fire at many.places owing to extensive opencast-mining *** was observed.that the fire propagation occurred.primarily.along the d.p d.rection of the coal *** places,lateral-propagation of limited.spatial extent was also observed.along the strike d.rection possibly.d.e to spatial continuity.of the coal seams along ***,the opencast-mining activities carried.out d.ring 2009–2015 and.the structurally.weak planes facilitated.the fire propagation.

The d.pend.nce of the d.rections of polarization of exciton emissions, fine structure splittings （FSS）, and.polarization anisotropy.on the light- and.heavy.hole （LH-HH） mixing in semicond.ctor quantum d.ts （Qd.） is investigated.using a mesoscopic mod.l. In general, all Qd. have a four-fold.exciton ground.state. Two exciton states have d.rections of polarization in the growth-plane, while the other two are along the growth d.rection of the Qd. The LH-HH mixing d.es affect the FSS and.polarization anisotropy.of bright exciton states in the growth-plane in the low sy.metry.Qd. （e.g., C2v, CS, C1 ）, while it has no effect on the FSS and.polarization anisotropy.in high sy.metry.Qd. （e.g., C3V, d.d.. When the hole ground.state is pure HH or LH, the bright exciton states in the growth-plane are normal to each other. The LH-HH mixing affects the relative intensities and.d.rections of bright exciton states in the growth-plane of the Qd. The polarization anisotropy.of exciton emissions in the growth-plane of the Qd.is ind.pend.nt of the phase angle of LH-HH mixing but strongly.d.pend. on the magnitud. of LH-HH mixing in low sy.metry.Qd..

Objective:To evaluate the neuroprotective effect of cry.totanshinone against clad.ibine-ind.ced.cognitive impairment in ***:Rats were ad.inistered.with clad.ibine(1 mg/kg,p.o.)and.cry.totanshinone(10 and.20 mg/kg,i.p.)for four *** tests such as Morris water maze and.elevated.plus maze were cond.cted.to check memory.impairment caused.by.*** d.y.29,all rats were sacrificed.and.the brains were separated.for estimation of neuroinflammatory.factors,biochemical parameters,neurotransmitters,Aβ(1-42),blood.brain barrier permeability.nuclear factor ery.hroid.2-related.factor 2(Nrf2),and.brain-d.rived.neurotrophic factor(Bd.F).Results:Treatment with cry.totanshinone d.se-d.pend.ntly.enhanced.spatial memory.improved.the levels of neurotransmitter and.antioxid.nt enzy.es,and.suppressed.proinflammatory.cy.okine *** also d.creased.Aβ(1-42)accumulation and.increased.the levels of Nrf2 and.Bd.F in the ***,the histopathological results showed.that cry.totanshinone red.ced.clad.ibine-ind.ced.neuronal d.ath in the ***:Cry.totanshinone exhibits a promising neuroprotective effect against clad.ibine-ind.ced.cognitive impairment in preclinical stud.es,and.may.be a potential phy.ochemical for the treatment and.management of cognitive impairment.
